Abstract

This research aimed at improving the questioning skills of junior high school students in guided inquiry learning in light and optical devices. This study uses a type of research, namely quantitative descriptive. The data analysis technique used is the n-gain test, the data collection technique uses a questionnaire (questionnaire) and tests. This research involved 30 students from class VIII-C of SMP and 1 science teacher. The results showed that all students already had moderate learning abilities with indicators of ability to ask questions. Therefore, it can be concluded that the high ability to ask students has an effect on science learning outcomes. (1) Students' ability to ask questions can be seen from the average pretest and posttest scores that have increased from 49% to 92% with a maximum score of 75. (2) the implementation of learning to obtain mode percentage> 3. (3) The response questionnaire obtained an average of 95% with a very good category.

Abstract

Fish offal and broiler faeces are underutilised organic waste; the purpose of this study was to determine the levels of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) contained in the pellets from cakalang fish (Katsuwonus pelamis) waste fermented using adhesive from broiler chicken faeces. Nitrogen levels were determined using a colourimeter, phosphorus levels were determined using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and potassium levels were determined using a flame photometer. The results showed that the analysis of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium in the pellets from the fermentation of cakalang fish waste obtained an average of 4.2 %, 2.21 %, and 3.85 %, respectively.

Abstract

Seaweed developed through tissue culture techniques has several advantages, such as high carrageenan content, rapid growth, and resistance to disease. In seaweed cultivation, growth is influenced by photosynthetic pigments such as chlorophyll. Chlorophyll plays an important role in converting sunlight into chemical energy needed for growth. This study aims to analyze the chlorophyll content in Kappaphycus alvarezii cultivated at different depths in Gerupuk Bay waters. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications, namely depths of 0 cm (P1), 5 cm (P2), 10 cm (P3), and 15 cm (P4). Results of this study indicate that planting at different depths can increase the absolute weight of K. alvarezii tissue culture ranging from 283 g to 356 g, specific growth rate between 5.72%/day to 5.91%/day, seaweed production ranging from 661 g/m2 to 832 g/m2, chlorophyll content between 5.60 mg/L to 21.89 mg/L, and phycoerythrin content between 0.027 mg/L to 0.19 mg/L. The conclusion is that the cultivation of K. alvarezii tissue culture with floating rafts at different depths can affect growth and yield. Cultivation of K. alvarezii seaweed at a depth of 0 cm using the floating raft method gave the best results, namely increasing absolute weight up to 356 g, specific growth rate up to 5.91%/day, and production up to 832 g/m2, supported by chlorophyll content of 21.89 mg/L and phycoerythrin content of 0.195 mg/L. For optimal production results, it is recommended to use a depth of 0 cm in floating raft seaweed cultivation.

Abstract

Kasus kecurangan dalam laporan keuangan semakin sering terjadi di Indonesia, seiring dengan kompleksitas dunia bisnis yang terus berkembang dan meningkatnya peluang investasi. Perusahaan berupaya menyajikan laporan keuangan yang menarik untuk menarik perhatian para investor. Terdapat tiga faktor utama dalam segitiga kecurangan yang mendorong individu untuk melakukan penipuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka, merujuk pada penelitian sebelumnya serta berbagai sumber terkait seperti buku, artikel, dan berita. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pengendalian internal yang baik dan terstruktur dapat membantu mendeteksi kecurangan. Selain itu, penerapan prinsip-prinsip tata kelola perusahaan yang baik serta penanaman nilai-nilai positif dapat mendukung terciptanya perusahaan yang sehat dan mencegah terjadinya penipuan. Penelitian ini terbatas pada konsep sistem pengendalian internal, tata kelola perusahaan yang baik, kecurangan, serta artikel-artikel yang membahas isu ini.
