Abstract

Every parent hopes for a physically and mentally healthy child. However there are some baby are born and grow up with physical or mental disorder, like as autistic children. This condition makes mother feel sad, embarrassed and not ready to accept her child’s conditions. Self-acceptance is needed by mothers so that mothers love and accept themselves in facing difficulties while caring for children. This research aims to determine the description of self-acceptance of mothers who have autistic children at the Naimata Kupang Autism Treatment Center. This research was quantitative research using a descriptive research design. The sample in this study consisted of 32 poople who were selected by total sampling tecniques. This research instrument uses a self-acceptance questionnaire. it was found that the majority (96.9%) of mothers who had autistic children at the Naimata Kupang Autism Treatment Center were in the high Self-acceptance category. Mothers who have autistic children at the Naimata Kupang Autism Treatment Center have to maintain their self-acceptance by always being grateful for they grateful for they child is a gift from God, having an autistic child does not become an obstacle for the mother carry out activities so that mothers remain optimistic in caring for their children.

Abstract

Bullying can have a negative impact on both the victim and the perpetrator. Victims of bullying tend to experience anxiety, trauma, fear of meeting other people, even low self-esteem and suicide attempts, while bullies continue to feel selfish and feel the greatest. There are many factors that cause teenagers to engage in bullying behavior, including parenting patterns and peer conformity. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between parenting styles and peer conformity with bullying behavior among teenagers at SMP Negeri 10 Kupang City. This research is a correlation analytical research conducted on 76 students. Data were collected using a questionnaire and tested using the Chy-square test. The results of the research prove that there is a relationship between peer conformity and bullying behavior among teenagers at SMP Negeri 10 Kupang City with a p value of 0.000. Meanwhile, parenting style does not have a significant relationship between parenting style and bullying behavior among teenagers at SMP Negeri 10 Kupang City with a ρ value of 0.097.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Quality learning is one aspect of improving the quality of education. Learning can occur offline (face-to-face) or online. When offline learning occurs simultaneously with online learning, stress arises for students due to numerous burdens and a denser schedule in navigating blended learning methods during this pandemic. Stress can interfere with student resilience. Resilience is the process, capacity, or outcome of individuals adapting successfully to challenges or threatening circumstances. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between stress levels and student resilience in managing combinations of blended offline and online learning methods during the COVID-19 pandemic at the UCB Nursing Study Program. The research method is quantitative, employing a correlational analytic research design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consists of 153 respondents selected using the total sampling technique. Data will be collected by distributing questionnaires online through the Google Forms platform with informed consent and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results indicated a relationship between stress levels and student resilience in managing blended offline and online learning methods during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Health, University of Citra Bangsa, with a P-value of 0.001. Conclusion: Students can overcome psychological burdens in the form of stress in both online and offline learning, making this resilience crucial for helping students manage stress in their studies.

Abstract

Pada bulan April tahun 2021 terjadi badai siklon tropis seroja yang melanda 10 kabupaten dan 1 kota di Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Pada saat terjadi bencana, sejumlah pengungsi berkumpul tanpa membawa makanan, pakaan, air minum dan alat kebersihan diri yang memadai. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya pemberian pendidikan kesehatatan terkait pentingnya Tas Siaga Bencana (TSB) yang dapat menampung kebutuhan pada saat terjadi bencana. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan dengan media booklet terhadap pengetahuan tentang TSB pada masyarakat penyintas siklon tropis seroja di Kabupaten Kupang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pra eksperimen one group pre-post design. Responden yang terlibat berjumlah 200 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan p value 0,000 yang berarti ada pengaruh pemberian pendidikan kesehatan dengan media booklet terhadap pengetahuan tentang TSB pada masyarakat penyintas siklon tropis seroja di Kabupaten Kupang. Pengetahuan tentang TSB penting diketahui oleh masyarakat karena menjadi salah satu rencana kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Tas Siaga Bencana, Booklet

Abstract

Bullying has become more prevalent not only among secondary school (SMP and SMA) students but also in primary school (SD) students. Children's physical and psychological development in primary school are the most crucial aspects. However, many primary school students face physical and psychological pressure in social interactions due to bullying. However, they are rarely reported even though they have a detrimental effect on both victims and perpetrators. Bullying is still considered normal in social interactions and is used as a joke and a way to demonstrate strength. One of the causes is primary school students’ lack of comprehension of bullying.This research aimed to determine primary school students' knowledge about bullying before and after receiving health education and analyze the impact of bullying themed illustrated storybooks on primary school students’ knowledge in Kupang to prevent bullying behaviors. The quasi�experimental approach pre-test and post-test with one group design. There were 200 primary school students involved in intervention. The Wilcoxon test results show that the average respondents’ knowledge improvement after being provided with health education about bullying using illustrated storybooks was 78.5%, with a p-value of 0.000. Therefore, it can be concluded that health education using illustrated storybook positively impacts primary school (SD) students’ bullying knowledge in Kupang. Collaboration between various parties, including parents, teachers, schools, and nurses, will continue to provide education about bullying for elementary school children as an effort to prevent bullying behavior in elementary school children.

Abstract

Ibu rumah tangga rentan mengalami masalah mental karena tekanan fisik, emosional, sosial, ekonomi. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan tentang kesehatan mental berdampak buruk bagi ibu dan keluarga. Ibu rumah tangga adalah kelompok pengguna media sosial terbanyak. Hal ini bisa dimanfaatkan untuk menyebarkan informasi dan membangun bisnis produk digital untuk ekonomi kreatif ibu. Kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi kesehatan mental dan manajemen stres, pelatihan edukator kesehatan mental, penerapan teknologi berupa pembuatan, penjualan dan pemasaran produk digital, pendampingan dan evaluasi serta keberlanjutan. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 25 ibu di Kelurahan Maubeli, menggunakan buku saku, leaflet, banner, power point. Hasil kegiatan didapatkan peningkatan skor pengetahuan dan ketrampilan ibu tentang kesehatan mental (skor pre test=8, skor post test=10). Skor pengetahuan dan ketrampilan ibu terkait produk digital juga meningkat (skor pre test=7, skor post test=9). Ibu juga menghasilkan produk digital yang dijual di toko online. Ibu dapat melakukan edukasi melalui media sosial dan konsisten membuat dan menjual produk digital.
