Abstract

Membaca merupakan ketrampilan dasar yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam materi membaca. Tujuan utama penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh media spin huruf terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui penelitian pra eksperimen dengan jenis rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas I sejumlah 25 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Non Probability Sampling. Jenis instrumen yang digunakan pretest dan posttest hasil belajar berupa lembar unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian memaparkan bahwa penerapan media spin huruf mempunyai pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar membaca permulaan siswa. Pengaruh tersebut ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan rata-rata siswa dari 42.92 meningkat menjadi 77. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t yang menunjukkan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) yaitu 0.000, hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Penelitian ini memberikan sebuah pemaparan bahwasanya keefektifan sebuah media pembelajaran spin huruf dalam membantu peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi membaca permulaan.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of identifying how far the group discussion learning method can improve the speaking skills of grade V students of SDN Kiyonten 1. The type of research carried out is qualitative descriptive. The technique used to analyze the data is from the mils and huberman technique. The findings or results of research that have been conducted regarding the application of discussion learning methods to students' speaking skills have the results that, discussion learning methods can increase the level of student participation in learning that makes students dare to express their opinions. The application of discussion learning methods can improve speaking skills in students. In addition, the discussion method also provides benefits in improving students' speaking skills and making learning more interesting and interactive. It can be concluded that the implementation of the discussion learning method on students' speaking skills in Indonesian subjects in grade V SDN Kiyonten 1 has often been applied and is effective to use.

Abstract

The School Literacy Movement (GLS) is a government initiative aimed at fostering reading interest and literacy culture among students. One crucial element of literacy is writing ability, including poetry writing. This study aims to examine the impact of GLS on students' poetry writing skills. Literacy encompasses not only reading skills but also writing skills. Poetry writing is an important form of creative expression in literacy education. Poetry helps students develop language skills, enrich their vocabulary, and express their emotions and thoughts. This research aims to determine whether the school literacy movement can influence the poetry writing skills of students at SDN Kletekan 2. The approach in this study is quantitative, with a one-group pre-test post-test research design. The sample consists of all 15 fourth-grade students at SDN Kletekan 2. The prerequisite tests for the study include normality and homogeneity tests, where data is considered normally distributed if the significance value (sig) is > 0.05. The sample is considered homogeneous if the significance value (sig) is > 0.05. Prerequisite tests were conducted using the SPSS 24 application. This study employs hypothesis testing with a paired sample t-test. Data collection was conducted using test instruments. The results indicate that the school literacy movement activities have an impact on the poetry writing skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Kletekan 2, as shown by the paired sample t-test results with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the school literacy movement activities can influence the poetry writing skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Kletekan 2.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of audio-visual learning media on students' learning interest about the respiratory system in class V. The method used was quantitative with a pre-test and post-test group design. The population of this study was all students of SDN Banjarbanggi 1 and the samples were taken using purposive sampling techniques, namely grade V students of SDN Banjarbanggi 1 totaling 15 people. Data was collected using questionnaires and data analysis was carried out through testing questionnaire instruments in the form of validity and reliability tests, prerequisite tests in the form of normality and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests using paired sample t-tests. The results showed that the use of audio-visual learning media was effective and students' interest in learning increased after treatment with these media. The use of audio-visual learning media has a significant influence on student interest in respiratory system learning materials in class V.
