Abstract

Backgrounds: Due to the COVID-19 cases that emerged in Indonesia, the government issued a regulation on community activity restrictions called the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). This PPKM rule causes the temporary cessation of services for the Chronic Disease Management Program (Prolanis) at the puskesmas such as prolanis gymnastics activities.As a result, it has a negative impact on the elderly, namely a decrease in physical activity behavior.Objectives:To assess the level of physical activity of the elderly based on age and gender during the COVID-19 pandemic.Methods:This study uses a non-experimental descriptive research design with a cross-sectional approach. Data collection has been obtained through the International Physical Activity Quitionaire-Short Form (IPAQ-SF). The analytical test that has been carried out is using the chi square test.Results:The results of the study reported that around 59.6% of the elderly experienced light physical activity during Covid-19. This shows that the elderly experienced a decrease in physical activity during the Covid-19 period.Conclusion:The Covid-19 pandemic causes the elderly to behave sedentarily and there is no difference in the level of physical activity in the age group and gender of Prolanis participants at the puskesmas.This study found a decrease in physical activity during the Covid-19 pandemic compared to physical activity before the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The success of a treatment is assessed based on the therapeutic effects achieved and the duration of the treatment. The choice of treatment place, whether traditional or conventional, is influenced by several parameters including age, occupation, education, gender, family support, and the use of health insurance. Based on that, health education was conducted in Mompang I Village, Halongonan Timur, Padang Lawas Utara. This activity was conducted to enhance the community's understanding of indications and side effects based on the place of treatment. Health education in the form of counseling was conducted on March 2, 2025, to 66 members of the community, with 37 people (56%) choosing conventional healthcare facilities for treatment. With this mechanism, the community will be more prudent in determining treatment for a health condition that requires medical intervention. From the responses, it was found that education and occupation factors have a strong correlation with the use of conventional medicine, while the use of traditional medicine is based on family support and has been used for generations.

Abstract

Capaian keberhasilan upaya kesehatan kesehatan pada ibu, terlihat dari.indikator.Angka.kematian..ibu (AKI) selama masa kehamilan, persalinan dan nifas. Upaya menekan resiko AKI dengan menganjurkan kepada masyarakat agar persalinan dilakukan di fasilitas kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Keputusan Ibu Dalam Pemilihan Tempat Dan Penolong Persalinan di Desa Rondaman. Metode dalam Penelitian deskriptif..analitik..dengan..menggunakan..desain..cross sectional dengan uji chi square. Hasil uji chi-square menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan tempat serta penolong persalinan, serta ada beberapa faktor yang tidak berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan tempat serta penolong persalinan. Kesimpulan terdapat hubungan antara persepsi dan tingkat ekonomi terhadap pemilihan tempat dan penolong persalinan dan tidak terdapat hubungan umur, paritas, pendidikan, pekerjaan, asuransi kesehatan, dan dukungan keluarga dengan pemilihan tempat dan penolong persalinan.
