Abstract

This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research was carried out at SD Negeri Srondol Kulon 02, Banyumanik District, Semarang City starting in June 2023. Data collection techniques in this research used interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research results (1) The role of the school principal as a manager in planning the independent curriculum includes a) setting goals for implementing the independent curriculum; b) preparing an independent curriculum program; c) prepare a budget for implementing the independent curriculum; d) organize a team of implementing coordinators. (2). The role of the school principal as a manager in organizing the independent curriculum is 1) allocating resources; 2) formulate and assign tasks; 3) establish necessary procedures; 4) establish an organizational structure that shows the lines of authority and responsibility. (3) The role of the school principal as a manager in implementing the independent curriculum, such as a) consultative and asymmetric mentoring activities; b) provide strengthening of school human resources; c) learning activities through a new paradigm; d) data-based planning; e) digitalization of schools (4) The role of the principal as a manager in supervising the independent curriculum includes internal supervision carried out by the school principal and supervisor, then external supervision carried out by the school committee, seen from a technical perspective, supervision is carried out with two approaches, namely technical direct supervision and indirect supervision in report form. Apart from that, supervision of 1) assessment standards; 2) assessment; 3) the results of the assessment are in the form of a project report; 4) follow-up of project activities. The conclusion is that the role of the school principal as a manager in implementing the independent curriculum goes through the stages of planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring, all carried out continuously and together with school stakeholders. Suggestions that in the future school principals should embrace all parties more in policy making

Abstract

AbstrakMatematika merupakan salah satu ilmu pengetahuan yang memberikan peranan penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun pada kenyataannya matematika justru dianggap sebagai sesuatu yang sangat menakutkan bagi siswa. Berawal dari permasalahan ini maka perlu adanya perubahan dalam pembelajaran sehingga asumsi buruk tentang matematika sedikit demi sedikit akan hilang. Salah satunya yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Numbered heads together. Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara objektif tentang peningkatan prestasi belajar Matematikan melalui model Numbered heads together pada siswa kelas siswa Kelas VIII-F Semester 1 Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa Kelas VIII-F Semester 1 Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 di SMPN 1 Trenggalek sebanyak 32 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrument berbentuk tes tertulis.Hasil penelitian ini adalah nilai rata-rata pada siklus I sebesar 70.29 pada siklus II sebesar 87.06. Hal ini berarti terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata 16.77. Persentase ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 67.65% dan pada siklus II sebesar 97.06%. Ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal terjadi peningkatan sebesar 29.41%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan selama dua siklus dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran Numbered heads togetherdapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika materi himpunan melalui pada siswa kelas VIII-F semester I tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 SMP Negeri 1 Trenggalek. Untuk itu disarankan kepada guru agar menerapkan berbagai model pembelajaran yang relevan dengan karakteristik materi pelajaran dan karakteristik siswa. But in fact, mathematics is actually considered something that is very scary for students. Starting from this problem, there needs to be a change in learning so that bad assumptions about mathematics will gradually disappear. One of them is by applying the Numbered heads together learning model. The purpose of this classroom action research is to objectively determine the improvement in mathematics learning achievement through the Numbered heads together model in class students of Class VIII-F Semester 1 in the 2019/2020 academic year.The subjects of this classroom action research were 32 students of Class VIII-F Semester 1 of the 2019/2020 academic year at SMPN 1 Trenggalek. This study used an instrument in the form of a written test.The results of this study are the average value in the first cycle of 70.29 in the second cycle of 87.06. This means that there is an increase in the average value of 16.77. The percentage of classical learning completeness in the first cycle was 67.65% and the second cycle was 97.06%. Classical mastery learning increased by 29.41%. Based on the results of research that has been carried out for two cycles, it can be concluded that the Numbered heads together learning method can improve mathematics learning outcomes of set material through class VIII-F students in semester I of the 2019/2020 academic year of SMP Negeri 1 Trenggalek. For this reason, it is suggested that the teacher apply various learning models that are relevant to the characteristics of the subject matter and the characteristics of students.
