Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan data siswa SMK Putra Anda Binjai berdasarkan enam dimensi profil pelajar Pancasila menggunakan metode Clustering K-Means. Pengelompokan data siswa dilakukan dengan menghitung jarak menggunakan Euclidean Distance dan melibatkan tiga iterasi dalam analisis dengan variabel yang digunakan yaitu jurusan, nilai mata pelajaran, dan profil pelajar Pancasila. Sistem ini diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan aplikasi pemrograman MATLAB 2014a. Dari hasil proses dengan mengimplementasikan metode Clustering dan algoritma K-Means yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan 3 cluster data didapatkan kelompok data siswa atau grup yang memiliki karakteristik yang mewakili pola-pola tertentu dalam data siswa, seperti pola nilai dan profil pelajar Pancasila. Hasilnya diharapkan dapat membantu dalam pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang karakteristik siswa dan memberikan dasar bagi pengambilan keputusan di bidang pendidikan. Sistem pengelompokan data siswa yang dihasilkan juga memiliki kemudahan dalam penggunaannya.

Abstract

Abstract: The New Student Admission Information System (SIPMB) at STMIK Kaputama aims to enhance efficiency and transparency in the student admission process. This study conducted an information system audit using the COBIT 5 framework to evaluate system maturity and provide improvement recommendations. The audit results indicate that the system has not met the expected targets in all domains, with an average maturity level of 1.35 or 135%, classified as Fully Achieved (F). However, according to the capability model mapping condition index, the value is at level 1 (Performed Process). STMIK Kaputama needs to increase openness to innovation inputs and clear communication with prospective students to avoid errors in the admission process, as well as improve service quality for prospective students.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a cutting-edge technology that refers to various devices and systems around the world that are interconnected via the internet to share data. This technology involves the use of sensors and communication software to control, connect, and transfer data between devices by utilizing internet networks, enabling performance without direct supervision. In machine-to-machine (M2M) terms, (1) IoT can be defined as a technology that integrates various devices to improve efficiency and convenience; (2) its working method involves automatic connection and communication between devices; and (3) the research objectives are exploratory to understand its benefits. Some of the benefits of IoT include its ability to support people's daily lives through automation and efficiency. (4) Examples of its application can be found in various aspects of life, such as smart homes, healthcare, and transportation. (5) Based on the development history and previous research summarized in this journal, IoT is an advanced technology designed to simplify their daily activities.
