Abstract

Penyebab siswa tidak melanjutkan pendidikan adalah factor ekonomi orang tua yangmempengaruhi, Oleh sebab itu, dari pihak sekolah tidak ingin siswanya putus sekolahkarena orang tua siswa tidak mampu membayar secara lunas biaya pendidikan setiapsemester. Maka sekolah membutuhkan sebuah sistem yang dapat mengelompokkansiswanya, berdasarkan penghasilan orang tua siswa dan berbagai kriteria pertimbanganlainya. Sehingga sekolah dapat memberikan penundaan pembayaran setiap semester, padasiswa yang tepat dan tidak salah sasaran sehingga siswa dapat menyelesaikanpendidikannya tampa terbebani dengan baiya pendidikan yang belum lunas. Salah satupendekatan yang di gunakan dalam mengembangkan metode clustering yaitu metode KMeans, dimana metode ini merupakan salah satu metode pengelompokan data nonhierarki(sekatan) yang berusaha mempartisipasi data kedalam bentuk dua atau lebih. Tetapi kalaucluster tidak harus akan tetapi pengelompokanya berdasarkan pada kedekatan dari suatukarakeristik simple yang ada, salah satunya dengan menggunkan rumus jarak eclulden.Aplikasih cluster ini sangat banyak, karena hampir dalam mengidentifikasihkanpermasalahan atau pengembalian keputusan selalu tidak sama persis akan tetapi cenderungmemiliki kemiripan saja.

Abstract

Zaman modern saat ini menuntut semuanya harus cepat dan tepat. Ini karena semakin bertambahnya populasi di dunia saat ini yang terus bertambah. Antrian adalah suatu aktifitas di mana pelanggan menunggu untuk mendapatkan layanan. Dalam sistem antrian terkadang mengalami masalah, masalah muncul karena banyaknya antrean di layani. Antrean panjang terjadi karena banyaknya transaksi di kasir baik transfer, tarik tunai, pembayaran hipotek, dana pensiun mengambil dan menerima retensi kas. Model antrian yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah antrian dimana pelanggan datang berkelompok. Jumlah pelanggan dalam setiap kelompok adalah variabel acak, dan waktu antara kedatangan distribusi eksponensial. Pada penelitian metode Exponential digunakan untuk menghitung waktu layanan dengan saluran tunggal untuk dapat mengamati bagaimana kinerja sistem. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh server yang cukup untuk melayani adalah sebanyak 3 server, jika hanya 1 server akan menghasilkan waktu tunggu rata-rata yang terlalu lama sehingga pelanggan akan bosan menunggu beberapa saat jika Anda menggunakan 4 server akan menghasilkan waktu menunggu rata-rata sangat sedikit sampai server kosong

Abstract

Education plays an important role in shaping an individual's character and abilities, with students' interest in reading as the main foundation for intellectual development and critical thinking skills. However, in today's digital age, there has been an alarming decline in students' interest in reading, who are more interested in spending their free time playing games than reading. The development of information technology and digital entertainment such as smartphones, tablets, and computers has changed students' habits in utilizing their free time. Playing games is the main choice, while reading interest is marginalized, which has a negative impact on students' literacy skills. The decline in reading interest has serious implications, especially in Indonesia, where the Human Development Index (HDI) in the field of education is still low compared to neighboring Malaysia. This low interest in reading is influenced by the lack of reading habits from an early age and unequal access to education. Good reading skills not only affect academic achievement but also the development of critical, analytical, and creative thinking skills. This study aims to understand the factors that affect students' interest in reading, especially the influence of game time. The Simple Linear Regression method was used to analyze the relationship between game play time and students' reading interest, which provided valuable insights for educators and parents in designing effective educational strategies. The study focused on SMP Negeri 7 Binjai and used a linear regression method to analyze data on students' reading and gaming habits. The results of the study show that excessive game playing time, an average of 9 to 10 hours per day, has an impact on increasing and decreasing students' interest in reading. This data was analyzed using the RapidMiner application, which showed a correlation between playing games and students' reading interest.

Abstract

The prototype of the fish drying tool for the production of salted fish is designed to enhance efficiency and control in the salted fish drying process by utilizing IoT technology to monitor and regulate the drying environment conditions. The DHT22 sensor connected to port D5 is used to measure temperature and humidity inside the drying room. The data collected by this sensor is sent to a microcontroller connected to a relay to control the heater and DC fan, as well as a buzzer as a warning system if the room temperature exceeds 60° C. The Blynk application is used for a user interface that allows for the remote monitoring and adjustment of drying parameters via a smartphone. The test results show that this system is capable of maintaining the conditions for drying salted fish within optimal temperature and humidity ranges, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of the drying process. The integration of IoT technology in this device facilitates monitoring and control, as well as enhancing the overall effectiveness of the drying process.

Abstract

In the digital era, identity documents such as Identity Cards and Family Cards play a crucial role in administration and public services. The process of scanning these documents often results in images with noise that can interfere with data accuracy and identification. This research aims to improve the quality of scanned images by using the median filtering method to reduce salt and pepper noise. Median Filtering was chosen for its ability to preserve edges and details in images, which is crucial for identity documents such as Identity Cards and Family Cards. In this study, the system developed to enhance scanned images was implemented and tested. Evaluation results show that the Median Filtering method is effective in removing noise without damaging the edges and fine details of the images. The evaluation indicates that this system is effective in producing images that meet the quality standards required for official administration and identification. This research is expected to contribute to the development of digital image enhancement technology for identity documents, thus improving accuracy and reliability in public services.

Abstract

Mango village is one of the areas that participates in various welfare programs for the local community, where in this village there are still people who are far from prosperous because of various factors that affect the welfare of the local community, one of which is the jobs owned by the community. Therefore, it is important for people to understand that work also greatly influences the level of welfare for their own lives, so that they are fulfilled in the economy, education and others. Therefore the author wants to create a system that can assist the government in developing community welfare programs in Mango Village by knowing the relationship between work and the level of social welfare. After carrying out the above case trials with minimum support = 25%, confidence = 100% so that the rule results that meet the support and confidence values are obtained, it can be concluded that if the assets owned are A4 (motorcycles), with T2 dependents (3-4), with M2 jobs (Private Employees) and A4 assets (Motorcycles), with P2 income (> 1,000,000 - < 2,000,000), then enter K2 (welfare stage II) with a support value of 20%, 100% confidence.

Abstract

Expert Systems is one branch of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that makes widespread use of knowledge or knowledge specifically for solving expert human-level problems. Kartini Clinic has several health workers such as nurses, midwives to doctors who are ready to serve people who suffer from various diseases, one of which is Herpers Zoster disease. Shingles is an acute inflammation of the skin usually characterized by the appearance of red bubbles like small blisters that cluster on the surface of the skin and watery and accompanied by itching and heat. This disease will appear more if there is irritation, wounds or abrasions and a long healing process. Bayes' theorem is a mathematical equation used in probability and statistics to calculate conditional probabilities.

Abstract

To determine priority recipients of assistance facilities for IKM business actors in Langkat Regency, the criteria used in this study are the type of production, capital requirements, sales results, number of employees, and length of business. The data used in this study comes from the Department of Trade and Industry. In this study the MOORA method was used which aims to design and build a decision support system in determining priority recipients of facilities for IKM business actors. The author wants to make this decision support system using the Visual Basic application and supported by the MySQL Database so that the results are more effective and efficient. From the 10 sample data obtained by means of prioritizing recipients of assistance facilities for IKM business actors, it can be seen that those who get rank I with the highest score i.e. 0.1133 is A06 in the name of devi.

Abstract

Jurusan bidang informatika mencakup Teknik Komputer Jaringan, Audio Visual, Design Grafis, Teknik Informatika, dll terus meningkat baik tingkat sekolah menengah maupun tingkat perguruan tinggi. Jumlah pengangguran terbesar pada kabupaten Langkat saat ini adalah tamatan SMA/SMK/SMA, hal ini terkait dengan semakin tinggiya tingkat pendidikan masyarakat, yang umumnya telah tamat SLTA melanjut ke perguruan tinggi. Banyaknya peminat jurusan bidang informatika mengakibatkan kuatnya persaingan para lulusan untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan, sehingga perlu ada upaya penanggulangan untuk meningkatkan skill siswa-siswi dan lulusan jurusan bidang informatika agar tidak semata-mata ingin mencari perkerjaan tetapi mampu membuka lapangan kerja. STMIK Kaputama merupakan perguruan tinggi pertama dalam bidang informatika di Kota Binjai. Kaputama merupakan singkatan dari Karya Putra Utama, sesuai dengan tugas utamanya melaksanakan tridharma perguruan tinggi maka dosen STMIK Kaputama terus melakukan kegiatan pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat, melihat kuatnya persaingan lulusan dan kebutuhan masyarakat Kabupaten Langkat dan sekitarnya, dosen STMIK Kaputama merasa terpanggil untuk melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat untuk meningkatkan skill siswa SMK Swasta Esa Prakarsa dan SMK Harapan Bangsa Kuala dalam bentuk pelatihan perakitan komputer, instalasi sistem operasi dan pemasangan jaringan lokal dan internet untuk membangun jaringan warnet, perkantoran dan internet desa dalam meningkatkan kemandirian siswa. Dengan adanya pelatihan perakitan komputer, instalasi sistem operasi dan pemasangan jaringan lokal dan internet, diharapkan siswa-siswi SMK Swasta Esa Prakarsa dan SMK Swasta Harapan Bangsa Kuala dapat lebih meningkatkan skill dan jiwa wirausahaan sehingga mereka mampu berwirausaha sekaligus membuka lapangan kerja secara khusus untuk dapat menerima perbaikan komputer dan membangun jaringan warnet, jaringan internet perkantoran dan jaringan internet masuk desa. Selain adanya jiwa wirausaha, masyarakat juga terbantu khususnya pedesaan agar percepatan informasi dan komunikasi dapat lebih meningkat.

Abstract

Keamanan data sangat dibutuhkan dalam hal berkomunikasi. Untuk menjamin keamananan data dibutuhkan teknik untuk menyadikan data dan informasi yang disebut dengan Kritografi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengalisis proses Hybrid Didalam Kritografi simetris dan Asimetris yang mengunakan Algoritma RSA dan Algoritma Triple DES. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan keamanan data sehingga data menjadi lebih terjaga kerahasiaannya. Metode yang digunakan Algoritma RSA (Riverst – Shamir- Adleman) ini merupakan algoritma asimetris menggunakan sistem bilangan prima secara Acak dalam proses keamanannya dan Algoritma Triple DES yang disebut jugan dengan algoritma simetris adalah metode OFB (Output feeback), dan sehingga ketika kedua algoritma ini digabungkan dalam proses Hybrid maka keamanan datanya semakin akurat. Analisis Hybrid Kriptosistem algoritma RSA dan algoritma Triple DES menunjukan bahwa data yang dibuat secara text akan dienkripsi menjadi chipertext dengan menggunakan kedua metode tersebut dan di deskripsikan kembali. Sehingga keamanan data nya relative aman.
