Abstract

Local Revenue is a source of original revenue derived from the potential of the region it self. Local Revenue is often used as an indicator of a region's progress. If the original income of a region is high, the economy of the area is considered advanced. The higher the Local Revenue received, the less dependency between the Regional Government on the Central Government. The largest revenue potential for Local Revenue is generated from local tax collection. One of the potential local tax revenues in Bogor City is the advertisement tax and restaurant tax. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of effectiveness and contribution of advertisement tax and restaurant tax to Local Revenue in Bogor City and to find out the efforts made by the Bogor City Regional Revenue Agency in increasing its local tax revenue. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The result of this research is that the effectiveness of the advertisement tax and restaurant tax collection in Bogor City has been very effective, proven by the average advertisement tax effectiveness ratio of 104.06% and restaurant tax of 103.93%. The contribution of advertisement tax and restaurant tax to Local Revenue in Bogor City is still not good, as evidenced by the average advertisement tax contribution ratio of 1.43% including very poor criteria, and the average restaurant tax contribution of 12.99. % is in the poor criteria. Efforts made by the Bogor City Regional Revenue Agency in increasing advertisement tax revenue and restaurant tax are by collecting taxpayer data, checking tax rates, monitoring tax administration, and building communication and establishing closeness with the community. Abstract

Abstract The creativity of the community in processing various types of porang-based foods is needed. Porang is a local Indonesian commodity that has enormous potential to be exported and sold in the international market. Porang tubers are the raw material for making shirataki rice which has a very high selling price. To achieve this goal, training in making processed food from porang is required. This community service programme focuses on training assistance in porang-based food processing. To see how much the community understands after receiving training, on the third day a porang-based food cooking competition was held to motivate residents to make new innovations related to porang food recipes that they develop. The target location for this community service programme is in Karangpatihan Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency by targeting PKK mothers in four hamlets including Jurugan, Selodono, Krajan, and Dungus. This community service activity was closed with a focus group discussion (FGD) to listen to the aspirations of PKK women and see the future of porang in the region. As is the case in several other areas, the constraints of the community in processing porang are related to the processing of porang which is still quite complicated. In addition, the itchiness caused by holding porang in the hand.

Abstract

Indonesia masih memiliki masalah stunting atau gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada anak-anak akibat kurang gizi. Padahal, komitmen pemerintah dalam pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) sangat jelas terkait stunting ini. Kabupaten Blora, Jawa Tengah masih memiliki angka stunting yang cukup tinggi yaitu mencapai 21,5%. Pemerintah Kabupaten Blora sudah memiliki program Dapur Sehat Atasi Stunting (Dashat) yang bertujuan untuk memberikan makanan sehat dan bergizi kepada ibu hamil, bayi, dan ibu menyusui. Sehingga, untuk ikut menyukseskan program tersebut tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari UNNES melaksanakan edukasi melalui sosialisasi bahaya stunting dan cara pencegahannya melalui dapur sehat bagi ibu-ibu muda khususnya di Desa Bogowanti Kecamatan Ngawen Kabupaten Blora. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa ibu-ibu di Desa Bogowanti sudah cukup sadar tentang bahaya dan penyebab stunting. Ibu-ibu di Desa Bogowanti juga sudah memiliki kesadaran untuk berusaha memberikan makanan sehat untuk anak-anak mereka dengan memanfaatkan tanaman pekarangan rumah untuk diolah menjadi hidangan yang bergizi dan bernutrisi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berdampak pada terbukanya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya makanan bergizi dan mudahnya menyiapkan makanan bergizi dengan bahan-bahan sederhana. Dengan demikian, kasus stunting di Desa Bogowanti akan menurun.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic phenomenon has provided an extraordinary experience for the community. Many people have not been able to forget it, remember the incident as an unusual and frightening phenomenon. This study aims to understand the community's response and adaptation during Covid-19. Qualitative methods were chosen to frame this study, with data collecting techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The study was conducted from May to June 2021, involving 41 informants from 14 different districts in Central Java. The results showed the responses emerged from the community were very diverse, both within the community and family. Handling of Covid-19 by the community is divided into the scope of self-isolation and isolation at home. The role of the community in handling residents affected is in the form of cooperation and caring for each other. In the family, each family member divides their role, both those who are sick and those who care for the sick. All elements or parties participate in the process of preventing and handling patients or family members exposed to Covid-19. In addition, the adaptation process was also carried out both in social life and in the workplace, for instance avoiding public activities and working from home.

Abstract

This article discusses reading horoscopes through social media, which is very popular among young people in Indonesia, and integrates several practical and theoretical perspectives in its analysis. This research explores the zodiac forecast on Instagram in dealing with unbalanced environmental conditions due to the COVID-19. Using qualitative research, data collection involved observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations and interviews were conducted in December 2021 and January 2022 with five people. The results showed that readers’ interest in astrological predictions increased during the pandemic by using Instagram. There are various reasons behind the readers’ interest in seeing and following these predictions, such as encouragement, a way to learn and behave in making choices, as a guide to life, and motivational material for optimistic predictions, especially in facing chaotic and uncertain COVID-19 pandemic conditions. Not only that, astrology in its role is not entirely "believed in" like religion. It is used as a spiritual healing tool and a guide to predict people’s future lives amid unstable environmental conditions due to the pandemic. Using the Instagram platform plays a significant role as a guide for the younger generation, helping them feel more directed in their lives amidst the uncertain conditions of the pandemic.
