Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa baru angkatan 2021 di masa pandemic Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan, yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan hipotesis uji assosiatif atau uji hubungan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu, 25 mahasiswa baru angkatan 2021 pada Sekolah Tinggi Pastoral Kateketik St.Yohanes Rasul Jayapura. Data primer yang digunakan yaitu, kuesioner dan data sekunder berupa observasi dan wawancara. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson; untuk melihat hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa baru angkatan 2021 di masa pandemic Covid-19. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig (2 tailed) antara variabel dukungan sosial dengan motivasi belajar sebesar 0,159˃0,05; yang artinya tidak ada korelasi yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa baru angkatan 2021 pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Sekolah Tinggi Pastoral Kateketik St.Yohanes Rasul Jayapura. Dengan demikian juga tidak ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan motivasi belajar dengan nilai pearson correlations lebih kecil dari r hitung sebesar 0,290 ˂ r tabel 0,396. Dalam penelitian ini tidak ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa angkatan 2021 pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Sekolah Tinggi Pastorla Kateketik St.Yohanes Rasul Jayapura. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa sumbangan variabel dukungan sosial (X) terhadap variabel motivasi belajar (Y) tergolong rendah yaitu sebesar 8,4 %. Variabel lain, selain variabel dukungan sosial masih terdapat 91,6 % yang belum diteliti.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Komunitas Basis Gerejawi (KBG) terhadap keterlibatan Orang Muda Katolik (OMK) dalam kehidupan menggereja di Dekenat Jayapura. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui pendekatan Mix Method; perpaduan metode Kuantitatif dan Kualitatif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Orang Muda Katolik (OMK) di dalam Komunitas Basis Gerejani di wilayah Dekenat Jayapura dengan karakteristik usia 13-35 tahun. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner, wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa adanya peran Komunitas Basis terhadap keterlibatan Orang Muda Katolik (OMK). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Orang Muda Katolik menyatakan sikap yang sangat positif atau mendukung bahwa kehadiran Komunitas Basis Gerejani sebagai tempat menjunjung tinggi kebersamaan. Motivasi ekstrinsik atau dari luar diri mereka yang sangat mempengaruhi untuk terlibat dalam kehidupan menggereja. Sedangkan motivasi intrinsik belum tampak melalui penghayatan mereka sendiri akan komunio dalam Ekaristi untuk menggerakkan mereka terlibat dalam kehidupan mengereja. Kedua, Orang Muda Katolik menyatakan sikapnya kurang mendukung bahwa peran Komunitas Basis Gerejani sebagai tempat bertumbuhnya keheningan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the extent of the appreciation of Catholic Youth Dormitory St. Stefanus Waena Jayapura about fellowship in church life. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Primary data used in the study were interviews and observations. Unstructured interviews were conducted with dormitory coaches and Catholic young people living in St. Stephen's dormitory Waena Jayapura. The researcher used participant observation because the researcher lived at the research location. Based on the findings and discussion of this research, the Catholic Young People of St. Stephen's Dormitory Waena live communion in church life as far as the desire to gather and tell stories to build good communication. Gathering and telling stories are ways for young Catholics in the St. Stefanus Waena dormitory to live communion in church life. On the other hand, researchers found that there are obstacles in the effort to live communion that come from within the young people themselves and also from outside themselves. The obstacles found are low awareness, self-adjustment, initiative and knowledge about the Eucharist and Church activities. Low awareness is due to the lack of family role to transform values to build communion in church life so that it is less likely to reach the level of internalization or appreciation as expected.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an overview of student learning outcomes in the Introduction to Theology course. Student learning outcomes in the Introduction to Theology course are relatively low. The researcher estimates that the average score for introductory theology learning outcomes for students in the class of 2021 is the same as the population score of 65. The sample in this study was 30 STPK St. John Rasul Jayapura students in the Catholic Religious Education Study Program class of 2021. The method used was quantitative descriptive analysis. The samples tested in this study included independent samples or unpaired samples. The data used is in the form of documents on learning outcomes for the Introduction to Theology course from 30 students from the class of 2021. Data collection techniques are through participatory observation and unstructured interviews with students. To answer the hypothesis, this research was carried out using the One Sample t Test. Based on the results of the One Sample t Test, it was found that the Sig (two-tailed) value was 0.020≤0.05, thus HO was rejected in this study, meaning that the learning outcomes score for the introductory Theology course for the class of 2021 students was not the same as 65, even the average score The average student class of 2021 is still less than the average population score of -1.42. The learning outcomes scores for Introduction to Theology for students from the class of 2021 are still far from the average scores for the population.

Abstract

The task of the laity is to "direct the world to Christ." This does not mean forming a Christian society, but creating the possibility of believing in Christ, allowing the attitude of faith from the human side. Faith is not a spontaneous natural reaction, it is not an instinct that occurs automatically and is forced, nor is it an action taken because it is forced, but is free and autonomous. In this situation, in all the reviews described here, the service and role of lay people are placed.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low involvement of young Catholics in church activities at the St. Joseph Arso VII Station, especially related to the five main tasks of the Church: koinonia, liturgy, kerygma, diakonia, and martyria. The purpose of the research is to determine the forms of youth participation, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze the station's efforts to increase their involvement. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that youth participation is still limited, especially in the areas of liturgy and kerygma, which is influenced by a lack of discipline, self-confidence and also mentoring from Catholic Youth mentors. Supporting factors found include support from family, school, church, and social media, while inhibiting factors include personal busyness, weak family attention, limited facilities, and the influence of digital culture. The efforts made by the St. Joseph Arso VII Station include increasing pastoral care, involving youth in categorical activities, providing facilities, and strengthening faith through spiritual meetings. This research is expected to contribute to more effective pastoral strategies and encourage young people in church life.
