Abstract

The high number of waste generation in Indonesia shows the minmize of public concern in managing waste. Education about waste must be instilled from an early age. The minimize of interesting education for the community makes moral messages about waste less noticeable by the public.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the STOP TRASH snake and ladder game media in increasing knowledge and attitudes towards waste on students in Indramayu.This research type is quasi experimental with pretest and posttest design. population was all students of SDN Singaraja and Singajaya class IV s.d. VI. The sample of 207 students. This study uses the Wilcoxon test. Knowledge with Result Z = -5.146b A-symp. Sig (2-tailed) 0.000. Attitude with result Z = -6.604b A-symp. Sig (2-tailed) 0.000.The results of this study can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the "stop trash" game media on increasing the knowledge and attitudes of students. Game media has advantages including providing a fun and helping to improve communicative and cognitive abilities. Game media is the right media to increasing students' knowledge and attitudes in managing waste and being responsible for the waste generated.

Abstract

The problems faced by partners related to Village Park are in the production sector, namely 1) there is no tourism and cultivation education regarding various types of flowers and their naming in Indonesian or Latin; in the field of management, 2) there has been no management training related to edutourism and flower tourism garden cultivation; 3) the manager does not yet have a website that can be used for promotional and marketing media; and 4) managers have never received marketing training via online media. The solutions offered to solve problems in the production sector are: 1) developing Village Parks into edutourism and cultivating Flower Tourism Parks. Solutions in the field of management are: 2) management training for tourist attraction management; and 3) provide training and assistance on how to plant, care procedures and plant cultivation. Solutions in the marketing sector are: 4) providing a website for managing Kahuripan Park, Pranggong Village; 5) provide training and assistance regarding website management as a marketing tool. The method used in this service uses lecture, discussion, practical and participatory methods. Lecture and discussion methods are used during educational outreach at the Flower Tourism Park, financial management training, tourist attraction management training, and plant cultivation training. Participatory and practical methods are carried out by the team and partners when planting and caring for plants. Apart from that, the team uses participatory methods when assisting with website management, marketing via the website, and collecting data related to the development of the number of visitors through observation.

Abstract

Timbulan sampah di Kabupaten Indramayu pada tahun 2022 mencapai 406,481.07 ton dengan jumlah penduduk 1.871.832 jiwa dan sampah terkelola sebanyak 250.039.22 ton (61.51%). Tingginya timbulan sampah menunjukkan rendahnya perhatian masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah. Edukasi tentang sampah perlu di mulai sejak dini. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan pengaruh media video edukasi terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap membuang sampah pada siswa di UPTD SDN 1 Singaraja. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif observasional dengan menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen (Eksperimen semu) dengan menggunakan rancangan one group pretest posttest design. Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 31 Juli – 8 Agustus 2024 di UPTD SDN 1 Singaraja. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V dan VI yang berjumlah 64 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditentukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian sebelum diberikan perlakuan untuk tingkat pengetahuan memiliki kategori Baik sebanyak (32,1%), Cukup sebanyak (50,9%), dan Kurang sebanyak (17%). Sikap responden sebelum perlakuan dengan kategori Positif sebanyak (49,1%) dan Negatif sebanyak (50,9%). Setelah diberikan perlakuan terjadi perubahan tingkat pengetahuan dengan kategori Baik sebanyak (64,2%), Cukup sebanyak (30,2%), dan Kurang sebanyak (5,7%). Sikap responden setelah perlakuan didapatkan hasil dengan kategori Positif sebanyak (77,4%) dan Negatif sebanyak (22,6%). Berdasarkan hasil uji Wilcoxon pengetahuan didapatkan nilai p-value 0,001 dan sikap didapatkan nilai p-value 0,002 yang artinya terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap siswa setelah perlakuan. Terdapat pengaruh tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap membuang sampah sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa media video edukasi.

Abstract

Background : The number of dengue fever (DBD) cases in Indramayu Regency in 2023 was 171 cases with 9 deaths. In the area of Plumbon Community Health Center,including Singajaya, there were 20 cases of dengue fever from January to May 2024. These cases mostly affected children aged 7-12 years. Objective : This research aims to investigate the influence of dengue fever animated video media on students of SD Negeri 2 Singajaya. Research Method : This study used a quantitative research method, namely quasi-experimental with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The sampling technique used Total Sample with 43 samples of students in grades 5 and 6. Data collection method used Pre-test and Post-test sheets. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the Wilcoxon test. Research Results Based on the research results, before the animated video was given, the knowledge level was in the Fair category 34.9%, and Poor 65.1%. The respondents' attitudes before the animated video were categorized as Fair 58.1% and Poor 41.9%. After the animated video was given, there was a change in the knowledge level with Good category 20.9%, Fair 39.5%, and Poor 39.5%. The respondents' attitudes after the treatment were categorized as Good 25.6%, Adequate 48.8%, and Inadequate 25.6%. Conclusion  : Based on the Wilcoxon test results, a p-value of <0.003 was obtained, which means there was an increase in knowledge and attitudes of the students after the animated video was given. There is an influence before and after the provision of dengue fever animated video on the knowledge and attitudes of the students. Based on the research results, it is hoped that animation media can be used as an outreach medium, and future researchers are expected to be able to research the practice of implementing dengue fever prevention
