Abstract

Kaderisasi merupakan hal yang penting dalam sebuah organisasi, terutama organisasi pengaderan seperti PMII, dengan adanya kaderisasi menandakan adanya kelanjutan dari sebuah organisasi. Kaderisasi yang merupakan proses kegiatan penyiapan, membina, serta mengasuh sumber daya manusia secara terdidik dan berkesinambungan, harapannya mampu menghasilkan kader yang dapat memimpin dengan baik untuk mengganti pemimpin yang lama serta membangun peran dan fungsi organisasi lebih baik. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana kaderisasi PMII Cabang Kota Semarang dilaksanakan? (2) Bagaimana pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan kepemimpinan dalam kaderisasi PMII ?. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa kaderisasi organisasi PMII berperan dalam meningkatkan kapasitas kepemimpinan anggota melalui program kaderisasi formal, nonformal, dan informal. Tahapan kaderisasi PMII terdiri dari tahap rekrutmen, pendidikan atau pelatihan, dan pengabdian. Dalam tahap pendidikan atau pelatihan khususnya bentuk kaderisasi formal mengenal jenjang kaderisasi. Diawali dengan MAPABA yang dilaksanakan di tingkat Rayon atau Fakultas, kemudian PKD yang dilaksanakan di tingkat Komisariat atau Universitas, dan PKL yang dilaksanakan langsung oleh Pengurus Cabang PMII Kota Semarang. Adapun metode yang sering digunakan oleh PMII Cabang Kota Semarang dalam melaksanakan kaderisasinya adalah diskusi dan juga distribusi kader. Regeneration is important in organizations, especially cadre organizations such as PMII, with the presence of cadre signification of the existence of an organization. The regeneration which is the process of preparing, developing and caring for educated and sustainable human resources, hopes to be able to produce cadres who can lead well to replace the old leaders and develop the role and function of the organization better.The purpose of this research is to find out:(1) How is the regeneration of PMII in the branch of Semarang City carried out? (2) How is the implementation of leadership training activities in PMII regeneration?. The research method used in this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The results obtained indicate that PMII organizational regeneration plays a role in improving student leadership capacity through formal, non-formal and informal regeneration programs. The stages of PMII regeneration consist of the stages of recruitment, education or training, and service. In the education or training stage, especially in the form of formal regeneration, recognize the level of regeneration. It starts with MAPABA which is carried out at the Rayon or Faculty level, then PKD is carried out at the Commissariat or University level, and PKL is carried out directly by the PMII Semarang Branch Management. The method that is often used by PMII Semarang City Branch in carrying out its regeneration is discussion and also the distribution of cadres.

Abstract

 The emergence of various digital platforms in the era of the internet technology revolution, in addition to giving birth to various new job types, also gives rise to a new term for workers, the term ‘mitra’ in the "gig economy" and gradually replacing previous terms such as buruh, karyawan, pegawai. This article attempts to decode the meaning of "mitra" using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis (CDA) which studies the use of language (verbal and written) as a form of social practice. Through Fairclough's three CDA levels; Text (micro level) is seen as a representation of something containing a certain ideology; Discursive practice (meso level) refers to the production, distribution, and consumption of text; Socio-cultural practice (macro level) refers to the context outside of the text such as the context of society, culture, and politics that influence the existence of text, we can reflect the ideological effects that reproduce unequal power relations in the word "mitra" used by various digital platforms. The term "mitra" referring to the ideology of "platform capitalism" makes them not considered as "pekerja" or "buruh" and eliminating them as legal subjects protected by the Labor Law. The problem is also the new work relationship is still unclear in many aspects, which can lead to exploitation of "mitra" by the company.Keywords: critical discourse analysis, ilusi kemitraan, gig economy, platform capitalism.

Abstract

This article examines local cyber media coverage in Madura about the ex-Shiite group in Sampang. Although Indonesia guarantees freedom of religion, religion-based conflicts still occur, especially the marginalization of minority groups. Through the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach, this research explores how the media discourses on the ex-Sampang Shia and shapes people's perceptions. The research highlights that the media not only reflects, but also shapes social structures through language and narrative choices. The results show the power of majoritarianism ideology and the role of the media in perpetuating social conflict. The research emphasizes the need for independent and ethical media in promoting dialogue, tolerance and social inclusion.

Abstract

Success in internalizing religious values in society depends on several important things such as the method used, the character and qualifications of the preacher, and a supportive environment. To prove this, this research is presented, where the author will examine the efforts to internalize the values of religious moderation carried out by religious leaders in Ngepet Srigading Sanden Village, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive-analytic type of field research. Data collection using observation, interview and documentation methods, using Miles and Huberman analysis, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the research show that, in instilling wasatiyah Islamic values through two channels, namely: first, the important role of K.H Daru Kawantoro who has wasatiyah character is able to integrate the study of the taklim assembly with his various experiences when interacting or gathering with figures from across sects/faiths. Second, learning outside the mosque, the methods used are the uswah hasanah method and the direct practice method, the learning process occurs when the community takes lessons or imitates what is exemplified by community religious leaders, the learning is reflected in the activities and interactions demonstrated directly by K.H. Daru Kawantoro in the Ngepet Srigading Sanden Bantul Yogyakarta community.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the hoisting of the One-Piece flag as a form of symbolic politics and cultural resistance among Indonesian youth during the 80th Independence Day commemoration. The main issue is how popular culture symbols serve as a medium for critiquing social injustice and corruption. Employing Norman Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis, this qualitative research analyzes Tempo news coverage and social media discourse. Findings reveal that the Jolly Roger symbolizes solidarity and freedom, challenging the state’s narrative that frames it as a threat. Youth leverage transnational popular culture to construct alternative political identities in the digital era. The study concludes that this symbolic politics reflects a shift in political contestation toward the cultural sphere, suggesting that youth expressions should be recognized as legitimate political participation rather than threats.
