Abstract

Artikel ini berupaya untuk menganalisis struktur sosio-teologis di Indonesia, yang di dalamnya terdpat faham eksklusivisme (tertutup) dan liberalisme. Kedua faham tersebut bertumbuh dinamis sebagai akibat dari problematika sosial media di tengah arus globalisasi dan fenomena krisis identitas yang dialami oleh masyarakat modern saat ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode diskriptif kualitatif, dengan model penelitian literer, yang mengandalkan literatur yang telah disediakan oleh media internet atau pun dalam bentuk cetak. Pendekatan yang digunakan yakni fenomenologi sosial dalam teori Stukturasi Anthony Giddens. Adapun temuan yang diperoleh dari penelitian, bahwa masyarakat dikendalikan oleh sistem sosial, dalam keputusan-keputusan yang dilakukannya, sebagai counter setiap individu harus menjadi aktor yang menentukan sebuah sistem, karena setiap individu memiliki otoritas tertinggi terhadap dirinya sendiri.

Abstract

The pre-marriage pandhābā legalization in Bakeong Village, Guluk-Guluk, Sumenep is a procession of efforts to free a pandhābā child from bad luck and all forms of distress in his life which are carried out before the marriage ceremony procession. There are two objectives in this research; first, to find out the procession of implementing the tradition, and the second how was the view of Islamic law on the tradition. The research used a normative-qualitative approach with a type of case studies. Collecting data through unstructured interviews, non-participant observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using deductions, presentations and conclusions deductively. Data sources were from people who understood and were directly involved in the implementation, and from other records relating to the object of research. The research results were, firstly; In the pandhābā legalization procession there were several stages, such as attributes (sesajen) to be used, rasolan and khatmil Qur`ān, and bathing the pandhābā children with the water of seven wells and campoan mixed with flowers. Second; this research of Islamic law toward the tradition is not found any deviation. Even this tradition can be said to be sunnah to do, because it was full of Islamic teachings such as alms and pray together.

Abstract

This article explores the meaning of worship in the perspective of Ibn ʿArabi’s philosophical Sufism, focusing on its role as a means for realizing the essence of the human being. In Islamic tradition, worship is generally understood as a set of ritual activities that affirm a servant’s obedience to God. Ibn ʿArabi, however, offers a more profound and philosophical approach, in which worship is seen as an ontological process that enables the human being to recognize their deepest identity as a creature reflecting the Divine names and attributes. This study employs a literature-based method, analyzing Ibn ʿArabi’s major works alongside interpretations offered by Sufi scholars. The findings show that, according to Ibn ʿArabi, worship serves as a path to unveiling the existential reality of the human being and actualizing their spiritual perfection as the insān kāmil. Thus, worship is not merely an outward practice but also a medium through which human consciousness becomes aligned with the source of its being. This understanding offers a significant contribution to renewing perspectives on worship within the context of contemporary spirituality.
