Abstract

Abstrak: Pertanian bawang merah di Desa Klutuk menghadapi kendala utama berupa sistem penyiraman konvensional yang tidak efisien dan masih bergantung pada mesin diesel berbahan bakar solar, sehingga menyebabkan tingginya biaya operasional, pemborosan air, dan penurunan produktivitas. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas pertanian melalui penerapan teknologi penyiraman otomatis berbasis tenaga surya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Rural Appraisal dengan melibatkan 40 peserta dari kelompok tani dan karang taruna pada seluruh tahapan kegiatan, mulai dari persiapan hingga monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman teknologi pertanian modern berbasis energi terbarukan. Pemahaman kelompok tani meningkat dari 40% menjadi 80%, sedangkan pemahaman karang taruna meningkat dari 75% menjadi 85% setelah edukasi. Implementasi teknologi penyiraman otomatis berbasis tenaga surya berjalan dengan baik dan mampu menghemat tenaga, waktu, serta biaya operasional petani. Teknologi ini mendukung transisi energi bersih dan pertanian berkelanjutan. Disarankan adanya pelatihan lanjutan, inovasi penekanan biaya alat, serta kemitraan dengan pemerintah dan industri agar adopsi teknologi dapat diperluas secara berkelanjutan.Abstract: Onion farming in Klutuk Village faces a major obstacle in the form of an inefficient conventional irrigation system that still relies on diesel fuel-powered engines, resulting in high operational costs, water wastage, and decreased productivity. This community service program aims to improve agricultural efficiency and productivity through the application of solar-powered automatic irrigation technology. The method used was Participatory Rural Appraisal, involving 40 participants from farmer groups and youth organizations in all stages of the activity, from preparation to monitoring and evaluation. The evaluation results showed an increase in understanding of modern agricultural technology based on renewable energy. The farmer groups' understanding increased from 40% to 80%, while the youth organizations' understanding increased from 75% to 85% after the education program. The implementation of solar-powered automatic irrigation technology went well and was able to save farmers' energy, time, and operational costs. This technology supports the transition to clean energy and sustainable agriculture. It is recommended that there be further training, innovations to reduce equipment costs, and partnerships with the government and industry so that technology adoption can be expanded in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Students with intellectual disabilities generally face significant challenges in mathematics, such as number recognition, counting, sequencing, basic arithmetic operations, and other functional numeracy tasks, due to their limited memory, abstract reasoning, and information processing speed.  This study aims to develop the Smart Box Edu learning tool to help students with intellectual disabilities improve their abilities in number recognition, counting, and performing basic operations in mathematics. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using a simplified Borg & Gall model, comprising the following stages: needs analysis, design, development, expert validation, practicality testing, and effectiveness testing. Validation results indicated the medium falls into the “highly suitable” category, with an 88% score from the media expert and a 90% score from the content expert, yielding an average of 89%. The practicality test conducted by two teachers yielded an average score of 89%, while student engagement reached 87%, indicating that the media is highly practical and engaging to use. Effectiveness was assessed through a pretest–posttest on 8 students with moderate and mild intellectual disabilities, with the average score increasing from 40.5 to 77.8, representing a 92% improvement. The N-Gain calculation of 0.63 indicates a moderate level of effectiveness. The study concluded that the Smart Box Edu is a viable, practical, and effective multisensory numeracy tool capable of improving the focus, motivation, and conceptual understanding of numeracy among students with intellectual disabilities. This tool is recommended for use in special education schools and for further development to include other mathematics topics.

Abstract

The construction sector plays a critical role in sustainability through effective construction waste management. In Indonesia, green building practices are guided by the Green Construction Site Index (GCSI) and the Minister of Public Works and Housing Regulation No. 21 of 2021; however, their strategic alignment with Lean Construction principles remains limited. This study examines the strategic integration of Lean Construction into green building regulations by validating regulatory-based indicators using the three Lean Construction pillars: Systems Management, Technology Management, and Culture and Behaviour. A questionnaire survey of construction practitioners was analyzed using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). The results reveal a robust three-factor structure, accounting for 80.1% of the total variance, with Systems Management as the dominant dimension. The findings provide practical insights for strengthening regulatory coherence, improving waste reduction strategies, and enhancing sustainable performance during the construction phase of building projects.

Abstract

Kondisi geografis sekolah TK ‘Aisyiyah 19 Surabaya yang terletak dipinggir laut menyebabkan kekhawatiran tersendiri bagi guru dan orang tua siswa jika sewaktu-waktu terjadi bencana alam. Selain, itu minimnya media pembelajaran kesiapsiagaan bencana alam di sekolah tersebut. Sehingga dirasa perlu untuk memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan mitigasi bencana secara berkala untuk meningkatkan sikap kesiapsiagaan siswa dalam menghadapi bencana alam. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif dan pemahaman mitigasi bencana pada anak usia dini melalui pendampingan berbasis media Maket Boneka Tanggap Bencana (Matagana) di TK ‘Aisyiyah 19 Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) melalui tahapan persiapan, sosialisasi, pelatihan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Adapun kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi 1) sosialisasi tentang pentingnya pemahaman mitigasi bencana alam sejak dini, 2) demonstrasi penggunaan Maket Boneka Tanggap Bencana (Matagana), 3) diskusi dan evaluasi untuk keberlanjutan program kedepan. Subjek kegiatan berjumlah 15 anak usia dini. Data diperoleh melalui observasi keterlibatan aktif siswa menggunakan instrumen yang mencakup indikator kognitif, emosional, dan perilaku. Hasil observasi menunjukkan total skor 104 dari skor maksimum 150 dengan persentase keterlibatan aktif sebesar 69,3% yang berada pada kategori aktif. Sebanyak 46,7% siswa berada pada kategori sangat aktif, 20% aktif, 20% cukup aktif, dan 13,3% kurang aktif. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Matagana mampu meningkatkan antusiasme, partisipasi, kemampuan mengikuti instruksi, serta pemahaman awal siswa tentang kesiapsiagaan bencana. Media ini juga memberikan pengalaman belajar yang konkret, visual, kinestetik, dan berbasis bermain, sehingga sesuai dengan karakteristik pembelajaran anak usia dini. Selain berdampak pada siswa, kegiatan ini juga memberikan model pembelajaran interaktif bagi guru dalam mengintegrasikan edukasi kebencanaan di sekolah. Dengan demikian, media Matagana berpotensi menjadi alternatif inovatif dan replikatif dalam membangun budaya sadar bencana sejak dini.
