Abstract

The application of interactive learning multimedia is one of the factors that impact the learning process for achieving learning outcomes. In developing a mobile application, the main principle is usability. This research goal is to presents a usability evaluation of the Jawara Sains, which is a mobile application to learn science subjects. This research used a System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire to measure the level of users’ perceived usability. This score can indicate the usability performance of effectiveness, efficiency, and ease of use. Jawara Sains's SUS score achieved 75.45, which indicates a B grade, acceptable, and categorized in the good range. This score can also indicate whether a user is a promoter or not. The analysis showed that the Jawara Sains is categorized into the passive Net Promoter Score (NPS), which means users will not influence other people. Therefore, recommendations are needed for its usability improvements.

Abstract

Sistem informasi presensi siswa dikembangkan sebagai solusi atas permasalahan pengelolaan presensi siswa di SMP Plus Babussalam yang selama ini masih dilakukan secara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu sekolah dalam melakukan transformasi digital di pengelolaan kehadiran siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu agile software development dengan kerangka kerja scrum, sehingga pengembangan sistem dapat berjalan secara iteratif dan adaptif serta selesai sesuai waktu yang ditentukan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan pihak sekolah untuk merancang kebutuhan sistem yang relevan. Implementasi sistem dilakukan dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan pengguna, sedangkan pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode black box testing untuk memastikan fungsionalitas berjalan sesuai spesifikasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem informasi presensi siswa yang dikembangkan mencapai tingkat validitas 100% pada fungsi-fungsi utamanya. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi presensi siswa ini telah memenuhi kebutuhan fungsional pengguna dan diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi serta akurasi dalam pengelolaan data kehadiran di SMP Plus Babussalam.  Temuan penelitian ini adalah terciptanya sistem presensi digital yang tidak hanya mengatasi masalah presensi manual, tetapi juga membuka peluang untuk pengembangan sistem informasi sekolah yang lebih terintegrasi di masa depan, serta menjadi model referensi bagi sekolah lain yang menghadapi tantangan serupa dalam transformasi digital.
