Abstract

Introduction: In the process of life, childhood is a period where the process of growth and development occurs, so development must be optimized. Preschool age is 3 to 6 years old and is the golden age of children's growth and development. Usually, preschoolers can eat. According to the United Nations Emergency Children's Fund (UNICEF), data shows that the incidence of motor development disorders is still high, namely 27.5% or 3 million children. The rate of developmental delays in preschool children in Indonesia is 5-25% of preschool children suffering from cognitive development disorders, including gross and fine motor development disorders. Indonesia's achievement of child health services reaches 75.82% Method: The study in this study was cross sectional. The sample used in this study was toddlers aged 24-60 months, with a total sample of 64 toddlers obtained by taking a sample of simple random sampling, bivariate analysis using the Chi square test. Results: Data analysis shows that toddlers with picky eating have suspect fine motor development of 3.9% and normal 35.9%. The results of the statistical analysis show that there is a relationship between picky eating and fine motor development. This can be seen from the p value, namely 0.001. This statistical relationship exists because the p value is <0.05 and the OR value is 9.225 Conclusion : In this study there was a there is a relationship between picky eating and fine motor development in toddlers aged 24 to 60 months in Ngalang Gedangsari Gunung Kidul village.

Abstract

Background: The postpartum period has a strong position as a risk factor for the development of serious mood disorders that can lead to postpartum blues and even depression. Postpartum blues is one of the adjustment disorders after childbirth in the form of feelings of sadness and anxiety that occur on day 3 to day 5 in the first 14 days after childbirth. This condition can cause bounding attachment problems between mother and baby, delays in physical, social, and cognitive development in infants. In other aspects, it affects postpartum care, maternal health, and greatly affects the mother's quality of life. Methods: This study was a type of quantitative research with a quasy experiment design. Total population of 50 mothers with total sampling, the number of samples of this study was 50 respondents. Observations were made twice, namely before and after the experiment and there was a control and intervention group (25 samples/group). Results: There was a rfesignificant difference in the average postpartum blues (EPDS score) before and after being given an educational video in the intervention group with a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The data normality test used Shapiro Wilk with the results of the normally distributed data with a p value of >0.05. The bivariate test uses the paired t-test, which is to determine the effect  of educational videos as an effort to reduce the incidence of postpartum blues before and after the provision of educational videos in the intervention group and control group. There was a decrease in EPDS scores with a difference between post-test and pre-test of 5.16. Researchers 95% believe that the difference in EPDS scores before the educational video with EPDS scores after education is between 4.53 to 5.80l. Conclusion: Video education is proven to have an effect on reducing the incidence of postpartum blues in the group given educational videos. Respondents in the intervention group experienced a significant decrease in postpartum blues compared to the control group.

Abstract

Background: Baby care is a series of actions and practices carried out to meet the physical, emotional and developmental needs of babies so that they grow and develop healthily. Baby care includes various aspects such as hygiene care, meeting nutritional needs, sleep care, sensory stimulation, skin care, health management, and emotional support. Handling and caring for newborn babies at home requires adequate knowledge and skills. Therefore, it is important for mothers to prepare themselves as best as possible before caring for a newborn baby at home so that they can fulfill the baby's rights in the form of optimal love, care and nurturing. The intervention of providing education through leaflet media was chosen because leaflets are one of the pamphlet type information media that is available. most popular. The aim of this service is to analyze the effect of educational media using leaflets on the ability to care for babies in pregnant women. Method: This community service takes the form of providing education with leaflets regarding baby care for pregnant women in Banyuraden Gamping Village, using a science-based method, an approach that involves the community, is persuasive and educational. Conclusion: there is an influence of providing education through leaflet media on increasing knowledge of baby care in pregnant women.

Abstract

Background Angka kematian balita di negara-negara berkembang khususnya di Indonesia masih cukup tinggi. Salah satu penyebab yang menonjol diantaranya karena keadaan gizi yang kurang baik atau bahkan buruk, Faktor-faktor penyebabnya sangat kompleks, mencakup asupan gizi yang tidak adekuat, infeksi berulang, kurangnya stimulasi perkembangan, serta faktor sosial dan ekonomi keluarga. Research Methods: Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah balita. Total balita di posyandu Wijaya Kusuma adalah 52 balita. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh balita di posyandu Wijaya kusuma. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah karakteristik orang tua dan pertumbuhan balita. Analisis Data pada penelitian menggunakan analisis bivariat dengan menggunakan uji Chi square. Research Results: Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara Pendidikan ibu dengan pertumbuhan balita, Hal ini terlihat dari nilai p value yaitu 0,085. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara Pendidikan ibu dengan pertumbuhan balita, Hal ini terlihat dari nilai p value yaitu 0,001. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara Pendidikan ibu dengan pertumbuhan balita, Hal ini terlihat dari nilai p value yaitu 0,003.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental maternal selama periode kehamilan diketahui berdampak pada outcome kehamilan dan janin. Pengukuran kesehatan mental terbagi menjadi aspek positif dan negatif. Banyak penelitian yang berfokus pada kesehatan mental negatif dimana mengukur adanya gejala seperti depresi, kecemasan, dan distress psikologis. Modifikasi kuesioner Mental Health Continuum-Short Form (MHC-SF) untuk menilai kesehatan mental aspek positif telah digunakan di Indonesia pada sampel berusia 17-54 tahun, namun belum diketahui validitasnya terhadap sampel ibu hamil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas kuesioner modifikasi MHC-SF pada ibu hamil. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif statistik untuk uji validitas dan reliabilitas MHC-SF yang telah dimodifikasi dan berjumlah 11 item. Sampel sebanyak 30 responden ibu hamil yang tinggal di wilayah Magelang Provinsi Jawa Tengah diambil sesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret hingga April 2023 menggunakan google form. Analisis pearson correlation untuk menilai validitas dan cronbach alpha untuk uji reliabilitas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan sebelas pernyataan memiliki nilai r hitung 0,569 - 0,933, tidak ada r hitung lebih dari r tabel (0,316), sehingga seluruh item dinyatakan valid. Nilai cronbach’s alpha sebesar 0,906 yang mengindikasikan bahwa kuesioner modifikasi MHC-SF sangat reliabel karena nilai reliabilitas ? 0,9. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan kuesioner MHC-SF yang dimodifikasi dengan jumlah 11 item memiliki nilai validitas dan reliabilitas yang baik sehingga dapat digunakan untuk melakukan skrining dan mempromosikan kesehatan mental ibu hamil.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Perawatan bayi merupakan serangkaian tindakan dan praktik yang dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan fisik, emosional, dan perkembangan bayi agar tumbuh dan berkembang dengan sehat. Perawatan bayi mencakup berbagai aspek seperti perawatan kebersihan, pemenuhan kebutuhan nutrisi, perawatan tidur, stimulasi sensorik, perawatan kulit, pengelolaan kesehatan, dan pendampingan emosional. Penangan dan perawatan bayi baru lahir dirumah membutuhkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang memadai. Oleh karena itu penting bagi ibu untuk mempersiapkan diri dengan sebaik mungkin sebelum merawat bayi baru lahih dirumah agar dapat memenuhi hak bayi berupa asih, asah, dan asuh yang optimal.Intervensi pemberian edukasi melalui media leaflet dipilih karena Leaflet merupakan salah satu media informasi jenis pamflet yang paling popular. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh media edukasi menggunakan leaflet terhadap kemampuan perawatan bayi pada ibu hamil. Metode: Pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa memberikan edukasi dengan leaflet mengenai perawatan bayi pada ibu hamil di Desa Banyuraden Gamping, menggunakan metode berbasis ilmu pengetahuan pendekatan melibatkan masyarakat, persuasif dan edukatif. Kesimpulan: terdapat pengaruh pemberian edukasi melalui media leaflet terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan perawatan bayi pada ibu hamil.
