Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity and solvency ratios on profitability at PT. Surya Baru in Jakarta. The method used is explanatory research with a sample of 8 years of financial reports. The analysis technique uses statistical analysis with regression testing, correlation, determination and hypothesis testing. The results of this study, Current Ratio has a significant effect on Return on Assets of 46.5%, hypothesis testing obtained a significance of 0.042 <0.05. Debt to Asset Ratio has a significant effect on Return on Assets of 76.9%, hypothesis testing obtained a significance of 0.004 <0.05. Current Ratio and Debt to Asset Ratio simultaneously have a significant effect on Return on Assets of 82.4%, hypothesis testing obtained a significance of 0.013 <0.05.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of financial performance and capital structure on firm value with dividend policy as a moderating variable. The sample in this study was 13 property and real estate sector companies from 2011 to 2020, with a total of 130 observations. This study found that financial performance and capital structure positively affect firm value. Meanwhile, this study finds that dividend policy cannot moderate the effect of financial performance and capital structure on firm value. The results of this study indicate that property and real estate investors still prioritize the firm's financial performance. Investors are relatively more cautious in investing in property and real estate sector companies even though the dividends offered are pretty high. Thus, property and real estate sector companies need to be more creative in improving their financial performance and obtaining resources to develop their business.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kelayakan investasi pendirian pabrik asam laktat di Indonesia sebagai upaya substitusi impor. Analisis dilakukan secara finansial dan strategis. Pendekatan finansial menggunakan metode Capital Budgeting yang meliputi Net Present Value (NPV), Profitability Index (PI), dan Discounted Payback Period (DPP), serta analisis sensitivitas. Analisis strategis dilakukan menggunakan SWOT dengan dukungan Matriks IFAS dan EFAS berdasarkan wawancara dengan akademisi, praktisi, dan analis investasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proyek sangat layak untuk dilaksanakan dengan NPV positif sebesar Rp238,68 miliar, PI sebesar 1,477 yang berarti setiap Rp1 investasi menghasilkan Rp1,477, serta DPP selama 5,86 tahun (5 tahun 10 bulan). Analisis sensitivitas menunjukkan proyek tetap tangguh terhadap penurunan harga jual. Secara strategis, proyek berada pada Kuadran I (Growth/Expansion) dengan kekuatan internal dan peluang eksternal yang sama-sama kuat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan strategi SO (Strengths–Opportunities) untuk memaksimalkan potensi pasar domestik dan dukungan regulasi guna meningkatkan daya saing industri.
