Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas rekognisi pendidikan kewarganegaraan (PKn) sebagai pijakan utama dalam pendidikan bela negara yang efektif di Indonesia dan tantangan pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam konteks pendidikan bela negara di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PKn memiliki potensi besar sebagai alat dalam membentuk kesadaran kewarganegaraan yang kuat, membangun semangat nasionalisme, dan mengembangkan komitmen dalam mempertahankan negara. Namun, tetap saja ada tantangan yang harus dihadapi dalam mengintegrasikan PKn ke dalam kerangka pendidikan bela negara seperti terjadi 1), ahistoris, 2), segregasi dikotomi rasial dan 3), lepas dari rahim Pancasila. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa PKn memiliki relevansi dalam pendidikan bela negara di Indonesia. Dengan melibatkan berbagai stakeholder pendidikan, Indonesia dapat mempersiapkan generasi muda dengan baik dalam menghadapi berbagai ancaman terhadap kedaulatan negara. Dengan demikian penelitian ini memberikan sumbangan dalam pemahaman mengenai keterkaitan antara pendidikan kewarganegaraan dan pendidikan bela negara, serta memberikan pandangan bagi perbaikan kebijakan pendidikan ke depan./6

Abstract

This paper discusses tolerance from Christianity and Islam perspective. What is tolerance: basis, limit, and example in the scripture—the research doing by bibliography approach. Books, journals, and scriptures are the resources. Hopefully, the results can provide a broader understanding of the theology and tolerance field. Thus these works can be used as references. Through discussion, it found that Christianity and Islam talk about tolerance. They tolerate others, even though there are some interpretations to interpret the scripture either in Christianity or Islam, but they are still open to others. Tolerance is a necessity that becomes an advantage to compete with each other in the pursuit of goodness.

Abstract

The research aims to find out how the development of android-based interactive media learning media in increasing students' digital awareness. The research process was carried out for five months, from August to December 2023. The research sample was students in the Department of Public Administration, Mekatronika Engineering and Automotive Engineering Education within the scope of the student population at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research findings reveal that the android-based interactive learning media that has been developed has high validity in terms of material, design, and interactivity. The results of student responses to products from android-based interactive media on the material of rights and obligations in learning Citizenship Education reached 122 or 81.33%. If included in the interval 81-100% with a very good category, this media is in a very good category from the aspect of attractiveness. The implication of the results of this study is the development of android-based interactive media in the general compulsory course of Civic Education, especially in Higher Education in accordance with future technological developments in the present and later. Through this study, researchers provide suggestions for developing android-based interactive learning media in the general compulsory course of Civic Education, especially in Higher Education.

Abstract

This paper examines a discussion about ecology focus on Batak Christian Protestant Church's view and action. The study's reason is based on what the church said about ecological problems in their faith declaration. Furthermore, looking Batak Christian Protestant Church (HKBP) litigates connected to ecological action case in Indonesia. Methodology in this research is literary, looking at the book, internet, and faith confession of the HKBP. Gathering the data and then analyze is the approach used to discuss the issue. This study traced that the HKBP has mentioned ecology in their faith confession. In their view, HKBP argues that God created man in his residence and place of work in this world (Gen. 2:5-15). Therefore, they oppose any environmentally damaging activities, such as burning and cutting down trees in the forest or wilderness (Deuteronomy 5: 20; 19-20). This creed is based on the Word of God as recorded in the scriptures. They also have been activated to protect nature, for example: develop livestock waste into alternative energy (biogas); planting trees in Peak Dolok, Balige North Sumatera; statings local wisdom. Christianity realizes that ecology issues are also part of their problems. What has been done by the HKBP be a positive thing. This action is a good activity for Christianity in Indonesia. Even though we cannot deny the ecology problem is our common problem.
