Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui pembelajaran bermuatan STEAM di RA. Manarul Huda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran bermuatan STEAM yang dilakukan di RA. Manarul Huda bisa membantu mengembangkan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun terutama dalam membantu anak dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Selain itu, pembelajaran bermuatan STEAM dapat menambah minat belajar anak, yang mana awalnya anak hanya lebih di fokuskan pada kegiatan calistung, sekarang sudah bisa belajar menggunakan hal baru dan menuangkan ide-ide yang luar biasa.

Abstract

Early childhood education (PAUD) is a level of education prior to basic education which is a coaching effort aimed at children from birth to the age of 6 years. This study aims to describe the process of implementing learning, the impact of development, supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the development of language skills through an Active Learning approach to children at Kindergarten Bina Kalam Pakong-Malang. The research method uses qualitative methods with descriptive research types. Sources of data obtained by means of the method of observation (observation), interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the development of language skills includes listening, reading, speaking and writing. The method selection technique will have an impact on the ability to have self-confidence when talking actively to people around you. The supporting factors are related to the fulfillment and selection of appropriate learning media. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors regarding the need for study time in children. Suggestions for research on academic needs related to language skills in children. It will be more supportive if it is harmonized if the application is supported by learning when it is done at home, such as building communication with parents and children.

Abstract

The influence of the use of gadgets in early childhood depends on how parents supervise and direct behavior. Good parenting patterns are needed in accompanying children to use gadgets so that they are in accordance with their functions and avoid the negative impacts they cause. In this study, researchers had the idea to implement the use of the Screen Time-Parental Control application to assist parents in supervising children in using gadgets. The purpose of this study is to find out how the effect of the Parental Control application is in supervising and limiting children who are negatively affected by the use of gadgets, such as gadget addiction and being kept away from negative content that is not appropriate for their age. Data were obtained through questionnaires and in-depth interviews with the parents of RA Raudlatul Mubtadiin students in Toket Village. In this study, researchers used quantitative research methods, with group B students as their research subjects and their parents. The results of the study show that using gadgets for children requires good assistance and care from parents and the application of the Screen Time-Parental Control application can assist parents in supervising children at RA Raudlatul Mubtadiin in using gadgets.

Abstract

Pengaruh yang ditimbulkan dari penggunaan gadget pada anak usia dini tergantung pada bagaimana perilaku orang tua dalam mengawasi serta mengarahkan. Diperlukan pola pengasuhan yang baik dalam menemani anak menggunakan gadget agar sesuai dengan fungsinya dan terhindar dari dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti mempunyai ide untuk melakukan penerapan penggunaan aplikasi Screen Time-Parental Control guna membantu orang tua dalam mengawasi anak dalam menggunakan gadget. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh yang ditimbulkan aplikasi Parental Control tersebut dalam mengawasi serta membatasi anak terkena dampak negatif dari penggunaan gadget, misalnya seperti kecanduan gadget serta dijauhkan dari konten negatif yang tidak sesuai dengan usianya. Data diperoleh melalui angket dan wawancara mendalam terhadap orang tua siswa RA Raudlatul Mubtadiin Desa Toket. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelompok B berserta orang tuanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam penggunaan gadget pada anak diperlukan pendampingan dan pengasuhan yang baik dari orang tua dan penerapan penggunaan aplikasi Screen Time-Parental Control ini dapat membantu orang tua dalam mengawasi anak di RA Raudlatul Mubtadiin dalam menggunakan gadget.
