Abstract

This study aims to describe how the students 'mathematical problem solving abilities in SMP Negeri 1 Kelekar were reviewed from the students' learning motivation on the material of the flat side of the cubes and blocks.  The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative.  The subjects of this study were 24 students of class IX1 SMP Negeri 1 Kelekar.  Data collection techniques in this study were a test of mathematical problem solving abilities and a questionnaire (questionnaire) student learning motivation.  The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics.  The results of the data analysis of this study indicate that: (1) students with a high learning motivation category obtained an average score of mathematical problem solving abilities, namely 70.00 in the moderate category;  (2) students with the moderate learning motivation category obtained an average score of mathematical problem solving abilities, namely 60.66 in the moderate category;  (3) Students with low learning motivation category obtained an average score of mathematical problem solving abilities, namely 41.00 in the low category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis aiswa SMP Negeri 1 Kelekar ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar kubus dan balok. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IX1 SMP Negeri 1 Kelekar yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan kuesioner (angket) motivasi belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) siswa dengan kategori motivasi belajar tinggi memperoleh nilai rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yaitu 70,00 kategori sedang; (2) siswa dengan kategori motivasi belajar sedang memperoleh nilai rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yaitu 60,66 kategori sedang; (3) siswa dengan kategori motivasi belajar rendah memperoleh nilai rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yaitu 41,00 kategori rendah.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is a hot topic in education today. In the Merdeka curriculum, teachers must use differentiated learning in the classroom. Therefore, it is important to understand how differentiated learning is implemented in mathematics subjects. This descriptive qualitative research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The Systematic Literature Review research procedure refers to eight steps with three main stages: Planning the review, Conducting the review, and Reporting the review. The literature sources of this research used various articles from Google Scholar, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Elsevier, and ScienceDirect. The results show that implementing differentiated learning positively affects students' mathematics academic achievement; besides that, differentiated learning increases self-efficacy, self-confidence, and motivation in learning mathematics, which can support the achievement of mathematics subject objectives. Differentiated learning effectively provides direct learning opportunities tailored to the conditions, learning styles, characters, and deficiencies of students in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship, position, and role of the philosophy of mathematics in learning mathematics in basic education through the perspective of the scope of philosophy, namely ontological mathematics, epistemological mathematics, and methodological mathematics. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with a literature study approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through the documentation method of articles originating from the Google Scholar database, as well as books related to the philosophy of mathematics. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results highlight three main aspects within the scope of the philosophy of mathematics: ontological, epistemological, and methodological. Ontological mathematics addresses the ontological foundations of mathematics for teaching, including the role of mathematics in various contexts. The epistemology of mathematics emphasizes the importance of understanding the discipline from multiple perspectives to enhance learning and curriculum design. Meanwhile, the methodology of mathematics highlights the role of specific methods in determining mathematical solutions. In conclusion, understanding the philosophy of mathematics in these three aspects is important for educators to improve the learning process of mathematics at the primary level comprehensively and optimally.

Abstract

Deep learning didefinisikan sebagai suatu pendekatan yang menekankan pada pemahaman konseptual dan penerapan pengetahuan secara kritis. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bantuan secara teoretis maupun fungsional dalam mengembangkan pendekatan deep learning yang sesuai dengan konteks sekolah dasar, khususnya di SD Utung Jawa 01, Kepulauan Seribu. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan bentuk kegiatan pendampingan berupa pelatihan dan lokakarya. Program pelatihan ini dilaksanakan melalui lima tahap: Perencanaan, Pengorganisasian, Penggerakan, Pengendalian, dan Evaluasi (POACE) dengan melibatkan masyarakat sebagai mitra yang turut serta dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam seluruh kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan deep learning memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemahaman guru. Pendekatan ini mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa melalui berbagai aktivitas interaktif seperti simulasi dan eksperimen, sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna dan menyenangkan. Namun, penerapan metode ini juga menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan waktu untuk menyelesaikan kurikulum serta akses teknologi yang tidak merata di kalangan siswa.
