Abstract

The National Education of Indonesia has many kind of problems such as the lack of country affection attitude and social concern attitude of the students. This research aims to analyze the effect of civic’s education learning result on social concern attitude toward the 12th grade students of SMA N 4 Medan year 2017 – 2018. This research used quantitative method with the model of double variable relation. The research populations were the all students of 12th grade in SMA N 4 Medan. The samples used in this research consisted of 34 respondents and they were defined based on simple random sampling technique. Based on the research result, it shows that the social concern attitude of 12th grade students in SMA N 4 Medan are in the excellent category for 41, 17 %, good category for 17, 06 % and fair category for 11, 77 %. The effect of civic education learning result on the social concern attitude towards the 12th grade students in SMA N 4 Medan showed the significant effect result. From the calculation, the obtained result was 14,562 of t count value which was bigger than t table, 2,037. It can be concluded that the country affection attitude can be obtained through cognitive aspect, affective aspect, and psychomotor aspect. Moreover, it is also needed to pay full attention to the indirect aspect, for example social media, mass media and electronic media so the shaped positive attitude will not change into negative attitude.

Abstract

Abstrak;Keragaman Indonesia sesuatu yang tidak dapat dipungkiri keberadaannya. Konteks pemahaman masyarakat majemuk, selain kebudayaan kelompok suku bangsa, masyarakat Indonesia juga terdiri dari berbagai kebudayaan daerah yang bersifat kewilayahan yang merupakan pertemuan dari berbagai kebudayaan kelompok suku bangsa yang ada di daerah tersebut. Dalam keberagamannya Indonesia wajib menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai Toleransi umat beragama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi Nilai-nilai Toleransi Umat Beragama pada Upacara Rambu Solo di Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis Komparasi Konstan (Constant Comparative Analysis) yaitu peneliti berusaha mengkonsentrasikan dirinya pada deskripsi yang rinci tentang sifat dan ciri dari data yang sudah dikumpulkan, sebelum berusaha menghasilkan pernyataan-pernyataan teoretis yang lebih umum. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tahapan upacara adat Rambu Solo, antara lain : Ma’mulai atau pembukaan, Mattarima tamu atau menerima tamu, Ma’sandu, Mantunu tedong, Istirahat (rehad), Makpeliang atau Penguburan. Implementasi Nilai – nilai Toleransi Umat Beragama pada Generasi Milineal yaitu Tidak membeda-bedakan setiap masyarakat atau generasi milineal, Mengizinkan berdoa sesuai dengan keyakinan masing-masing, Mengingatkan untuk senantiasa melaksanakan ibadah sholat maupun puasa bagi yang beragama IslamKata Kunci;Implementasi , Nilai-Nilai Toleransi Umat Beragama, Rambu SoloAbstractThe diversity of Indonesia is something that cannot be denied. The context of understanding a pluralistic society, in addition to the culture of ethnic groups, Indonesian society also consists of various regional cultures which are a meeting of various cultures of ethnic groups in the area. In its diversity, Indonesia is obliged to uphold the values of religious tolerance. This study aims to determine the implementation of Religious Tolerance Values at the Solo Sign Ceremony in Tana Toraja. This study uses qualitative research methods using Constant Comparative Analysis, where the researcher tries to concentrate on a detailed description of the nature and characteristics of the data that has been collected, before trying to produce more general theoretical statements. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the stages of the Rambu Solo traditional ceremony, among others: Ma'mulai or opening, Mattarima guests or receiving guests, Ma'sandu, Mantunu tedong, Rest (rehad), Makpeliang or Burial. Implementation of Religious Tolerance Values in the Millennial Generation, namely Not discriminating against every community or millennial generation, Allowing praying according to their respective beliefs, Reminding to always carry out prayers and fasting for Muslims.Keyword;Implementation of Religious Tolerance Values, Solo Signs

Abstract

This article discusses inter-religious tolerance in the lovely December celebration in Tana Toraja. The implementation of this lovely december celebration has several activities, namely; Tedong carnival festival, coffee festival, qasidah festival, culinary festival, tandem paragliding festival, festival of musical drama or ballet, creative economy festival, choir festival, ring road festival Christmas adventure Toraja, ecumenical Christmas celebration, and fireworks festival. Lovely December celebrations have benefits in strengthening brotherly relations in the community. The implementation of these activities is a clear example of the collaboration between religious communities in carrying out these activities and shows an attitude of tolerance between religious communities in Tana Toraja. The elements in realizing tolerance among religious people are; helping each other in carrying out major activities in Toraja, culture being upheld, the government acting actively in increasing tolerance between religious communities, the desire to advance the city of Toraja

Abstract

Culture is an integrated part of people's lives. There is no community life that does not has a culture as part of their characteristics. They are known as a community group that is different from other groups, tribes, or nations. Culture also has a system of ideas that guides every human being in carrying out their lives both individually and in groups. Toraja culture, in this case the Rambu Solo Traditional Ceremony, is caused by a standard that is guided by individuals and groups that have been maintained, accepted, owned, and inherited by the Toraja people. The traditional of Rambu Solo ceremony for the people of Tana Toraja is a traditional ceremony and funeral that requires the family of the deceased to make a party as a sign of final respect for the departed deceased. Abstract

Artikel ini berusaha menjelaskan tentang praktik budaya politik dalam pemilihan kepala daerah di Bontobiraeng Selatan, Kecamatan Bontonompo, Kabupaten Gowa dan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi budaya politik masyarakat di Bontobiraeng Selatan Kecamatan Bontonompo Kabupaten Gowa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik budaya politik dalam pemilihan kepala daerah di Bontobiraeng Selatan, Kecamatan Bontonompo, Kabupaten Gowa yaitu praktik budaya politik partisipan, budaya politik kaula dan budaya politik mobilisasi. Faktor yang mempengaruhi budaya politik masyarakat di Bontobiraeng Selatan yaitu tingkat pendidikan, tingkat ekonomi, politik uang dan kekerabatan.

Abstract

This review aimed to discuss the topic from the Paper by Dawood Ahmed and the Book from Jack Barbalet. Both writings discussed about the relation between religion and the state which then connected in seeing how people relate their spirituality with their bought goods. This writing explores the dynamic interplay between religion, consumer behavior, and state policy in the context of modern capitalist societies. As consumerism becomes increasingly embedded in cultural norms, the demand for religious attributes in products—such as halal labels or symbolic branding—reflects a convergence of spiritual identity and market participation. This writing also highlights how religious practices can stimulate economic growth, particularly when facilitated by a pluralist or neutral state framework. Using Indonesia as a primary case, where Pancasila enshrines belief in God without adopting a theocratic model, the paper illustrates how religious consumer demands have spurred regulatory and commercial responses.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of interfaith encounters on religious tolerance among students of STFT INTIM Makassar. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 42 students who had participated in interfaith activities. Regression analysis results show that interfaith encounters contribute 13.3% to the development of tolerant attitudes. The findings indicate a positive and significant relationship between the intensity of participation in interfaith activities and students' tolerance toward religious diversity. Thus, interfaith engagement proves to be an effective means of fostering mutual respect and strengthening relationships among adherents of different religions. This study contributes significantly to the development of educational programs that promote the values of pluralism, multiculturalism, and social harmony.

Abstract

This study explores the harvest festival tradition in Bialo Village, Bulukumba Regency, focusing on its origin, process, and cultural meaning. Using a qualitative approach through interviews, observation, and documentation, the research finds that the tradition stems from a local agricultural system emphasizing togetherness and gratitude. The festival includes collective prayers, traditional art performances, and shared meals of harvested crops. For the Bialo community, it is not merely a celebration but a cultural expression that fosters social cohesion and community identity. It also functions as a means to pass down local wisdom and values to younger generations. Amid ongoing modernization, the harvest festival plays a key role in preserving cultural identity and social resilience. It reflects the community's close connection with nature and reinforces the importance of sustaining traditional practices in an ever-changing cultural landscape.

Abstract

Abstract; Indonesia is know as a country that has a diversity of ethicities, cultures, races and religions. Every religion has differences that can laed to conflict between religious communities. Saw it is necessary to apply the attitude of tolerance in society. The teachings of tolerance are related to Islam. Islam also gives freedom to anyone to embrace the religion the adhere to. Islam is also a pioneer of tolerance in creating peace and harmony in religious life. The purpose of this study is to describe the Islamic perspective on interfaith tolerance from a theoretical perspective. This research is expected to be a source of knowledge. The type of research used is in the from of library reasearch which is arranged systematically. The results of this study are the basics of tolerance in Islam, the principles of religious tolerance and the limits of tolerance among religious communities. Abstract

Abstract; The Religious Social Harmony of Hindu and Muslim communities in Jati Bali Village show that The social-religious harmony, being peaceful and respectful to each other, while the perceptions of Muslims show that there are no differences in understanding in various differences in terms of ethnicity, race and religion. Supporting factors build and strengthen the foundations of harmony and place love in the lives of religious people. The inhibiting factors are today's challenges, the establishment of houses of worship, and interfaith marriages that are not approved by their parents. the local government is able to maintain the harmony that has existed in the village. Preferably in the village it is necessary to increase the learning of youth in order to build a tolerance system. Interfaith marriages should be carried out with the consent of both parties so that there are no disagreements. To be approved for the construction of a house of worship, the local community must obtain approval from the government. Keywords; Social Harmony; Hindu; Muslim
