Abstract

Fuel requirements have a direct impact on mining activities. The operator's habits influence the amount of fuel used in operating the equipment, the mine road's slope, and the distance predetermined in the mine design planning. Adjustment Fuel Consumption Actual (AFCA) is the fuel cost, which is influenced by the fuel price, distance, and condition of the mining road billed for overburden and coal mining activities carried out by the contractor. The research methodology uses off-site and on-site analysis. Off-site analysis can be carried out the highest 'Fuel Ratio' owned by the machine based on its specifications and operational activities to find out how much fuel consumption is needed to produce the amount of production per hour (liters/bcm). Meanwhile, it needs to be correlated with the mine road's condition, including the slope of the mine road (grade). This study aims to determine the relationship between road grade and fuel consumption by comparing road grade improvement efforts with cost-benefit analysis.

Abstract

The main activities at a mining site consist of stripping the overburden, unloading by blasting and surface mining, loading and transporting from the mining location to the crushing location. Blasting is an activity in mining that is carried out with the aim of dismantling the rock from its source rock into a predetermined size to facilitate further processes such as loading and crushing and a set production target. The less boulder, the better the resulting fragmentation because it will reduce the production costs for crushing the boulder to be smaller. This research focuses on blasting geometry planning as a parameter that is considered important in changing the size of the blasting rock fragmentation. The andesite blasting activity at the Batujajar 1 mine still found a fairly large percentage of rock blocks. Based on field observations, rock blocks resulting from blasting activities in the Batujajar 1 quarry are as follows: burden (B) 2.4 m, space (S) 3.1 m, stemming (T) 1.8 m, subdrilling (J ) 0 m, height (L) 6 m, into the blast hole (H) 6 m, column of explosives (Pc) 4.2 m, explosive material as much as 11.07 kg / hole. The drilling pattern applied is a staggered pattern and corner cut blasting pattern which is blasted in a row for each line with a delay time of 25 ms. The proposed geometry is calculated by calculating RL Ash 1963. With the theoretically proposed blasting geometry the results of rock chunks measuring> 80 cm according to RL Ash 1963 are 0.18%, then selected with the 1963 RL Ash theory, the results of rock fragmentation sizes are> 80 cm is 0.18%, this amount is better than the actual rock fragmentation which is still 9.11%, with the reduced number of boulders it is expected that production activities will run better.

Abstract

Opening a coal mining project poses external and internal risks. External risk consists of commodity price risk and regulatory risk, while internal risk consists of financial risk and operational risk. The purpose of this study is to analyze risk treatment by taking into account the influence of external and internal factors so that the project is feasible to be mined. Research methods include risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation and risk treatment used to prove the feasibility of a mine. The study in this study is a coal mining company in the area of East Kalimantan Province. Expansion of the area of 34.78 Ha at the mine surface. Mine planning is based on consideration of the potential of coal reserves is 473,630 tons, coal quality is 5,790 kcal and total overburden is 10,407,600 bcm. Based on overburden density is 2.25 tons / bcm, the stripping ratio is 25: 1. The results of the study prove that the analysis using efforts to reduce costs can increase the feasibility of the mine to be developed.

Abstract

Mining business license area of PT. XYZ is one of them located in Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province. As a form of effort to reduce the impact of mining activities, it is necessary to have the role of the community to support the company in an effort to reduce the negative impacts that arise. The purpose of this research is to examine the community development and empowerment program as well as to examine the success of the community development and empowerment program in two fields, namely economic independence and socio-cultural independence. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the community around the mining area. Samples were taken at simple random sampling with a total sample of 90 respondents. The sample testing method in this study was carried out in several stages, namely normality test and continued with score interpretation to determine the extent of the community development and empowerment program that the company had carried out. The results of the research that have shown that the program in the field of economic independence gets a "good enough" category with a value of 56.125%, and for the socio-cultural field it has a "quite good" result with a value of 59.25%. Keywords: Mining, economy, social, development, empowerment
