Abstract

PT XYZ is an Aerospace company in Asia which operates in the aircraft industry, where the production process is still not running well because defects are still found. Efforts made by the company to prevent defects occur are by giving warnings or warnings to production process operators to increase their caution in working, but these efforts are still unable to prevent defective products from occurring. Based on these problems, the method used at the design proposal stage is the Six Sigma method with the DMAI and Reverse Engineering approaches. Six Sigma is a method of identifying and eliminating variability, Reverse Engineering is a method of product development from existing products. The stages of these two methods are integrated to improve the material handling process for D-Nose Ifle Exterior Panel components which have the highest frequency of defects appearing due to the position of component placement which is carried out in a stacked manner and the use of safeguards on the MHE is not appropriate. The proposed design made is a trolley. The aim of designing the trolley is to overcome the occurrence of scratch & damage defects by changing the dimensions and capacity of the trolley to be suitable for loading a maximum of 4 D-Nose Ifle Exterior Panel components without stacking them and using rubber guards to protect the components, so that the company can carry out material processing effective handling without damaging product quality. With the proposed trolley, it is hoped that it can minimize the number of defects by 46.88% of the previous number of defects and can also increase the process capability from the existing sigma level of 3.896 sigma to a new sigma level value of 4.119 sigma, which means an increase of 0.223 sigma.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influencing factors of Islamic stock prices during COVID-19 of companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index. The population in this study are all companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index for 2019-2021. The samples were selected by a saturated sampling technique, resulting in 90 companies as samples. The research is quantitative with secondary data. Data analysis used panel data regression analysis with the help of the EViews 9 data processing application. The results of this study show that the current ratio and debt-to-equity ratio partially affect Sharia stock prices, whereas the return on equity, inflation, and gross domestic product does not affect Sharia stock prices. Simultaneously, the current ratio, return on equity, debt-to-equity ratio, inflation, and gross domestic product affect Sharia stock prices.

Abstract

Although the influence of business strategy on institutional performance has been widely examined, studies that specifically assess institutional performance using data triangulation, where data validation is conducted through interviews with teaching staff and parents of course participants as institutional performance appraisers remain limited. This study aims to analyze the influence of business strategy on the performance of Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan (LKP) English 1 Samarinda. A qualitative approach with a survey and case study design was employed, involving 20 participants selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using interview instruments and analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques through the stages of data reduction, data display, and verification. The findings indicate that the business strategy of English 1 Samarinda, developed through the integration of operational management, digital marketing, service digitalization, service standardization, and human resource competency strengthening, has a positive influence on institutional performance. These results contribute to the development of strategic management theory in nonformal educational institutions and broaden understanding of the application of business strategies to improve course institution performance in the Indonesian local context. The study concludes that integrating business strategies that encompass teaching methods, digital marketing, service standards, and human resource competency development is crucial for enhancing the performance of LKP English 1 Samarinda, and recommends that institutional managers strengthen the continuous implementation of these strategies and improve physical facilities to maintain optimal service quality. The implications of this research include theoretical contributions to enriching the strategic management literature on nonformal educational institutions and practical implications for course providers, while also opening opportunities for further exploration of the effects of business strategy in other course institution contexts.
