Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) merupakan keterampilan yang harus dikuasai peserta didik pada abad ke-21, namun belum dilatihkan secara maksimal dalam proses pembelajaran. Faktor penyebab rendahnya keterampilan HOTS yaitu keterbatasan jumlah sumber belajar serta sumber belajar yang belum mengaitkan dengan peristiwa nyata pada kehidupan sehingga belum melatihkan HOTS. Berdasarkan pada hal tersebut, diperlukan pengembangan sumber belajar yang dapat melatihkan HOTS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menghasilkan modul elektronik interaktif berbasis studi kasus materi Sistem Ekskresi untuk melatihkan keterampilan HOTS peserta didik yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate). Validitas dinilai oleh validator yaitu dosen ahli materi, dosen ahli media, dan guru Biologi. Kepraktisan diukur dengan menggunakan angket respons peserta didik dan observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Uji coba dilakukan pada 30 peserta didik kelas XI-6 SMA Negeri 1 Cerme. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul elektronik memperoleh rata-rata validitas teoretis sebesar 3,73 dengan kategori sangat valid. Validitas praktikal diperoleh dari kepraktisan modul elektronik dengan meninjau perolehan rata-rata hasil angket respon peserta didik sebanyak 96,9 % dan observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh hasil sebesar 96 % dengan kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul elektronik interaktif berbasis studi kasus yang dikembangkan valid dan praktis untuk melatihkan keterampilan HOTS peserta didik SMA.

Abstract

Learners in the 21st century are required to master various skills that can be utilized to improve their life skills. Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is one of the skills that must be mastered by students, but it has not been maximally trained in the learning process. Factors causing the low HOTS skills are the limited number of learning resources and learning resources that have not linked to real events in life so that they have not trained HOTS. Based on this, learning resources that can train HOTS skills are needed. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of interactive electronic modules based on case studies of excretory system material to train high school students' HOTS skills. This research is a type of development research with the 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The data collection technique used the test method in the form of pretest and posttest to see the HOTS skills of students in terms of the improvement of HOTS skills and the completeness of HOTS indicators. Students' HOTS skills have increased by referring to the results of the N-Gain calculation which obtained a result of 0.84% in the high category. Indicators of students' HOTS skills experienced completeness by looking at the posttest results where the C4 (analyze) indicator scored 87%, the C5 (evaluate) indicator scored 86%, and the C6 (create) indicator scored 89% with the category achieved by all indicators, namely very complete. Thus, it can be concluded that the case study-based interactive electronic module developed is effective to train the HOTS skills of high school students.

Abstract

 Abstract: Supervision by the madrasa principal in guidance and counseling (BK) services across various educational units is still not running optimally due to time limitations, minimal coordination, and students’ low understanding of Guidance and Counseling. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the madrasa principal’s supervision in student Guidance and Counseling at MAN Insan Cendekia Bengkulu Tengah. It employs a descriptive qualitative method. Data sources were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis based on the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that the supervision of the madrasa principal, which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation, has been carried out quite effectively, supported by orderly administration and Guidance and Counseling services that align with students’ needs. Guidance and Counseling services in the madrasa cover personal, social, academic, and career aspects, with program implementation that is structured through regular assessments and continuous follow-up actions. The supervision has also strengthened coordination among the madrasa principal, Guidance and Counseling teachers, and other school stakeholders, thereby supporting the improvement of the quality of Guidance and Counseling services. Therefore, it can be concluded that the supervision of the madrasah principal has been running effectively in providing guidance and counseling services for students, although several obstacles such as limited time, workload, and supporting facilities still require attention to improve the effectiveness of services on an ongoing basis. Thus, it is recommended to enhance the effectiveness of the madrasah principal’s supervision in student guidance and counseling at the madrasah.Keywords: Effectiveness, Principal’s Supervision, Student Guidance and Counseling. Abstrak: Supervisi kepala madrasah dalam layanan bimbingan konseling (BK) di berbagai satuan pendidikan, masih belum berjalan optimal akibat keterbatasan waktu, minimnya koordinasi, serta rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap Bimbingan Konseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas supervisi kepala madrasah dalam Bimbingan Konseling peserta didik di MAN Insan Cendekia Bengkulu Tengah. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan analisis data model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi kepala madrasah mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi telah berjalan cukup efektif, kerapian administrasi, serta layanan Bimbingan Konseling sesuai kebutuhan peserta didik. Layanan BK di madrasah telah meliputi aspek pribadi, sosial, belajar, dan karier dengan pelaksanaan program yang terstruktur melalui asesmen berkala dan tindak lanjut yang berkesinambungan. Supervisi juga telah memperkuat koordinasi antara kepala madrasah, Guru Bimbingan Konseling, dan unsur sekolah lainnya sehingga mendukung peningkatan kualitas layanan Bimbingan Konseling. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimmpulkan bahwa supervisi kepala madrasah telah berjalan efektif dalam melayani bimbingan konseling peserta didik, meskipun beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu, beban kerja, dan sarana pendukung masih memerlukan perhatian untuk meningkatkan efektivitas layanan secara berkelanjutan. Sehingga dapat disarankan untuk tingkatkan efektifitas supervisi kepala madrasah dalam bimbingan konseling peserta didik di madrasah.Kata kunci: Efektivitas, Supervisi Kepala Madrasah, Bimbingan Konseling Peserta Didik.
