Abstract

This article aims to analyze the meaning of love and longing for literary works in the form of poems contained in the Diwan Tarjuman Al-Ashwaq by a Sufi named Ibn Arabi. The theory used is Riffaterre’s Semiotic theory. Written ada sources in the form of journals, books, and articles that are relevant to the topic of discussion. Tarjuman Al-Ashwaq contains poems that contain elements of love and longing, which are symbolized by the figure of a girl or woman who sparked controversy in the history of Islamic literary works because his poems were considered to contain the meaning of Ibn Arabi’s Sensual love for women. However, the results of the analysis show that the meaning carried out by the people at that time was wrong, Ibn Arabi only used women as a source of inspiration to represent his love and longing for Allah. Keywords: Ibn Arabi, Poetry, Tarjuman al-Ashwaq

Abstract

Stutterers are people with disfluencies in talking. They have problems maintaining their turn in a conversation. For that reason, they need to find some strategies to manage the conversation well. This study aims to find out what types of turn-taking strategies were used by stuttering people and why they tend to use them. The theories used in this research are from Stenstrom and Bloodstein. The data for this research are taken from three interview YouTube videos with stuttering people. The video was then analyzed based on Stenstrom's turn-taking strategy theory as well as Bloodstein's stuttering theory. The results of the analysis showed that the strategy most often used by the stuttering people is filled pause/verbal filler which is part of the holding the turn strategy. The purpose of this most commonly used strategy is to maintain the stutterer’s turns to speak so that there is no interruption by the interlocutor and it becomes part of the disfluencies suffered by people with stuttering, as a thought process in expressing words.

Abstract

Garam merupakan komoditas ekonomis penting di Indonesia. Tambak garam merupakan salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan wilayah pesisir. Akan tetapi, wilayah pesisir di Indonesia tak semuanya dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai tambak garam. Kabupaten Pati merupakan salah satu wilayah yang berpotensi sebagai lokasi tambak garam. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah tambak garam di Desa Tluwuk, Kecamatan Wedarijaksa. Tambak garam di lokasi tersebut masih menghasilkan kualitas dan produktivitas garam yang kurang optimal. Hal ini dimungkinkan karena pemilihan lokasi yang kurang sesuai untuk dijadikan lahan tambak garam serta pembangunan infrastruktur yang kurang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian lahan tambak garam di Desa Tluwuk, Kecamatan Wedarijaksa, Kabupaten Pati. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli-Agustus, 2020. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah Pengambilan Sampel Acak Berlapis (Stratified Random Sampling). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik skoring dengan menganalisis parameter fisika dan kimia lahan tambak garam dan melakukan skoring serta perhitungan indeks kesesuaian lahan garam. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kesesuaian lahan tambak garam di Desa Tluwuk termasuk kategori sangat sesuai dengan Indeks Kesesuaian Lahan Garam (IKLG) 85% untuk tambak yang terdekat dari pantai dan kategori sesuai dengan IKLG 68% untuk tambak yang terjauh dari pantai.
