Abstract

This study aims to present the results of the effectiveness of the zoom meeting application in improving initial reading during online learning. The results of the learning activities that have been carried out can be concluded that zoom meetings are effectively used in initial reading learning because there is an increase, namely from 22 students, 10 people can read fluently, 9 students need guidance, and 3 students cannot read. Zoom meeting has many features that support the learning process such as Record, Chat, Share Screen, Mute &; Unmute. Therefore, teachers must understand and use effective technology in supporting the online learning process, especially beginning reading in grade II

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse the problem associated with the geometry instructional materials for grade 1 students using the Rasch model. This is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach used to obtain information on the Wright map, item measure, and fit for instructors. Data were obtained by distributing a questionnaire containing 10 questions to 30 first-grade students in 192 Public Elementary Schools in Pekanbaru through Google form. The data collected were analysed using the Rasch model assisted by the Winstep or ministep version 3.73 application. The result showed that items 2 and 3 contained very difficult and easy questions, with a 0.30 indicating difficulty level. In conclusion, the test items used are valid and generally not difficult for students

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa terkait materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan menggunakan alat peraga kantong bilangan pada pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas tahun 2021/2022. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan subjek peneltian siswa kelas II C SD Negeri 005 Tarakan yang berjumlah 22 orang yang terbagi menjadi 2 sesi.  Penelitian ini terbagi menjadi 2 siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen terdiri dari dua yaitu lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru serta tes di akhir setiap pertemuan pembelajaran yang terdiri dari 6 soal berbentuk isian terkait materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu ketuntasan belajar siswa. Penelitian dikatakan berhasil jika hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal mencapai ketuntasan minimal 80% dengan KKM 70. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan menggunakan alat peraga kantong bilangan di kelas II C SD Negeri 005 Tarakan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa yang ditandai dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam setiap siklusnya yaitu siklus I sebanyak 12 orang siswa yang tuntas atau 54,54% dan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan yakni 19 orang siswa tuntas atau 86,36% .

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid and practical interactive instructional media to teach the GCD in elementary schools. This study is the Research and Development, and the reseachers applied the Plomp model consisting of three phases: preliminary research phase, development phase, dan assessment phase. The developed instructional media was validated by 3 experts consisting of media experts and material experts. To test the practicality, the researchers distributed questionnaires to the teacher and students. The data in this study were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The collected data were then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The developed instructional media was very valid with an average score of 83.96% and was very practical category with an average score of 87.86% from the students and 96.7% from the teachers. Therefore, the interactive instructional media to teach the GCD can be used by elementary students and teachers.
