Abstract

A healthy family can be said to be in a prosperous condition and condition. Physically, socially and mentally, it is possible to become a whole family consisting of individuals led by a family head and living in an environment so that they can live fairly, both economically and socially. This study aims to analyze the factors related to the application of healthy family innovation in the work area of ​​the South Tapanuli Kalangan Health Center. This type of research is quantitative using a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all residents in the working area of ​​the Kalangan Health Center, namely Aek Garut Village and Sitio Tio Village. The study started from January to May 2018. The research sample was 127 people with simple random sampling. Data analysis includes univariate, bivariate to multivariate. The results showed that only 62.2% of respondents adopted a healthy family, while the factors of age, knowledge, planning, monitoring, facilities/infrastructure and organizational staff related to the implementation of healthy family innovation. It is recommended to the Health Office of Central Tapanuli to supervise and direct the community to implement a healthy family program by increasing the promotion and socialization of healthy families to the Posyandu level and cooperating with community leaders.

Abstract

The hospital accreditation is a confession to quality of hospital care. It provides a visible commitment to improve the quality of patient care, to ensure a safe environment and to continually work to reduce risks to patients and staffs. Based on patient safety incident report by patient safety hospital committee, in Indonesia was found that there was case report of unexpected incident (14,41%) and nearly injury incident (18,53%) that caused by process or clinical procedur (9,26%), medication (9,26%) and patient harm resulting from falls (5,15%). In Indonesia data about unexpected incident especially nearly injury was rare. It could be influenced by health officer that unknown about the importance of the report. This study aimed to analysis the impact of knowledge about the hospital accreditation to patient safety culture at Sultan Sulaiman General Hospital in Serdang Bedagai Regency in 2019. This study used quantitative method with cross sectional design. Participant of this study was 147 health officer of the hospital. The participants were recruited by using purposive sampling technique. Knowledge about accreditation in this case was representative by Patient Safety Goals that one of standarts in National Standarization of Accreditation of Hospital. The patient safety goals consist of identify patients correctly. Improve effective communication, improve the safety of high alert medications, ensure safe surgery, reduce the risk of health cese-associated infections and reduce the risk of patient harm resulting from falls.Knowledge about patient safety goals has 58,5% moderate level and 41,5% good level. Patient safety culture has 87,1% moderate level and 12,9% good level. All knowledge about patient safety goals has influenced to patient safety culture, but only one that have significant impact to patient safet goals, identify patients correctly. From this result, it can be concluded that higher level of knowledge about identify patients correctly can higher level of patient safety culture.

Abstract

The existence of private health facilities is needed in assisting health services. Health facilities are required to be able to provide quality health services with affordable medical expenses so as to increase the number of patient visits. The purpose of this study is to determine the effort increase of patient visits number that observed from service quality in Clinic of Pratama Pelita Kasih Medan in 2017. This study use cross sectional analytic. The population of this study is all patients who had record and get treatment in Clinic of Pratama Pelita Kasih, Medan, as many as 229 patients and use accidental sampling technique. Data collecting use questionnaire. Data is analyzed by used chi square test and data processing program. The result of research shows that there is significant correlation (the value of p 0,041) between health service quality and patient satisfaction, there is no significant correlation (the value of p=0.653) between health service quality and number of respondent (patient). There was a significant relationship (the value of p=0.021) between satisfaction with the number of respondents (patient). It is suggested that the performance of health services can be improved in order to be able to compete with the clinic of Pratama through the addition of medical personnel (general practitioner, dentist, pediatrician, nerve and geneacologyst), competent paramedical personnel (nurse, midwife, chemical analyst), diagnostic equipments (such as ultrasonograph) and change previous types of medication to more affordable medicines to reduce expensive medical treatment.
