Abstract

The machining process used in the production process is a machining process that must be in accordance with the demands of the production. Where the level of precision, accuracy, quality and quantity of a product is the main thing in the machining process. to obtain a minimum response to the surface roughness of the workpiece. The research that has been tried aims to ensure the contribution of the parameters to the CNC MORI SEIKI SL-25 machining process to reduce the alteration of the workpiece surface roughness reaction simultaneously. As well as setting the right parameters of the CNC MORI SEIKI SL-25 machining process parameters in order to obtain a minimum workpiece surface roughness. The machining process parameters that were varied were cutting speed, feed depth and feed motion. The purpose of this study was to determine the surface roughness of carbon steel. This study uses parameters that affect the shape of the surface roughness value of St 41 material, namely cutting speed (110 m/min, 120 m/min, 150 m/min), depth level (0.5 mm, 0.8 mm, 1 mm)) and feeding speed (0.15mm/put, 0.925mm/put, 0.35mm/put). The value of the surface roughness of the St 41y material, which is the percent cutting speed, has a value of 11.06%, the infeed depth has a value of 0.19%. And eating motion has the smallest value of -20.97%.

Abstract

The Bangka Belitung region is a province in Indonesia with abundant water resources. However, the water quality in this area often does not meet health standards, prompting residents to seek alternative sources of clean and hygienic drinking water. One chosen solution is refillable drinking water depots. One such depot is Alam Water, located in Air Ruai, Pemali District, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands. However, the process of transferring gallons from the filling station to the distribution truck is still done manually by workers, leading to suboptimal productivity. This study aims to design and create a gallon transfer tool capable of transporting two 18.92-liter gallons. The research method follows the VDI 2222 methodology, which includes planning, concept, design, and completion stages. The result of this method is the development of a gallon transfer tool capable of transporting two 18.92-liter gallons, tested by transferring gallons from the filling station to the distribution truck 25 times, with a total time of 365.02 seconds or approximately 6.083 minutes.

Abstract

Bangka’s typical dodol has a sweet taste, and a soft texture and food that isrelatively durable. The typical Bangka dodol ingredients used are coconut milk,granulated sugar, palm sugar, and sticky rice. The results of observations withUMKM PAHLAWAN IV in Nibung village, dodol artisans still use human labor asa source of motivation. From these problems, the idea of designing and making adodol stirring machine emerged which aims to assist PAHLAWAN IV UMKM inthe process of stirring dodol from a manual system to a mechanical system. Themethod used in making this machine uses the VDI 2222 method. This method has 4(four)stages,namelyanalysis,conceptualization,designing,andcompletion.Fromthis stage of conceptualizing, alternative part functions are produced. Alternativepart functions are then given an assessment to determine alternative part functionsusedinmachinemanufacturing.Furthermore,thealternativefunctionoftheselected part will be optimized for design. The dodol stirring machine made hasspecifications of 650 mm in length, 650 mm in width, and 900 mm in height. Thedrivesourceusesa 1/2HPelectric motor with1,400rpm.Thetransmissionsystemuses a 1:50 size 60 gearbox which is passed on by pulleys and V-Belts. Based onthe results of the trial, the results of the 5kg capacity dough were obtained in 1(one)process with a period of 4 to 8 hours.
