Abstract

“Jawara”is part of the subculture apart from “Kiai” and “ulama” which has a position in the eyes of the people of Banten.this position is not a formal labelling but an informal label which is formed by the community itself, where the “jawara” is a group that has a strong influence while penetrating the boundaries of the rural hierarchy in Banten. In the early days of independence, the “jawara” were involved in heroistic events with the people of Banten fighting to regain independence from the Dutch colonial government. In the midst of this struggle there was an act of rebellion carried out by the “jawara”, where this rebellion reflected the social action of the “jawara” to oppose the situation at that time. This event is interesting to study to provide an overview of the socio-political dynamics among the people of Banten during this period. The method used in this research is to use the historical method by following the research steps, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the action in each rebellion that is carried out by “jawara”has its own characteristics, namely by committing various acts of violence that describe bandits. This violence is directed against people he does not like and will deter the ends of his interests. The acts of violence they commit such as kidnapping, intimidation, robbery and murder are the characteristics of the “jawara” style.

Abstract

Many vocational graduates have not been absorbed in the world of work. The low outcome of vocational graduates is not absolute because there are no jobs, but it is caused by low graduate competence among them. This study aims to determine the influence of link and match learning on the quality of vocational graduates in Banten Province. This study employs a qualitative methodology and a case study research design. Document studies, interviews, and observations were used to gather research data. The study's findings demonstrate that the idea of a link and match describes how organizations and the workplace interact. In other words, it can be said to be a relationship between labor providers and their users. Through these relationships, educational institutions as labor providers can establish relationships with the business world or industry. Vocational education, in particular, can collaborate with companies or industries so that students can practice (internship) in the company. With this program, vocational can determine the competencies most needed in work and the industrial world. The final result of the link and match program is the acquisition of graduates who are ready to work with qualified skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) Hubungan antara kompetensi dengan kinerja pengawas sekolah di lingkungan dinas pendidikan Kota Serang; 2) Hubungan antara etos kerja dengan kinerja pengawas sekolah di lingkungan dinas pendidikan Kota Serang; 3) Hubungan antara kompetensi dan etos kerja secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja pengawas sekolah di lingkungan dinas pendidikan Kota Serang. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional. Jumlah sampel penelitian ditetapkan 22 pengawas sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) terdapat hubungan positif antara kompetensi dengan kinerja pengawas sekolah di lingkungan dinas pendidikan Kota Serang. 2) terdapat hubungan positif antara etos kerja dengan kinerja pengawas sekolah di lingkungan dinas pendidikan Kota Serang. 3) terdapat hubungan positif antara kompetensi dan etos kerja secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja pengawas sekolah di lingkungan dinas pendidikan Kota Serang.
