AbstrakPendekatan saintifik merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang disarankan dalam Kurikulum 2013. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas strategi scaffolding pada pendekatan saintifik. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif melalui focus group discussion (FGD). FGD dilakukan dalam rangka memvalidasi strategi scaffolding oleh 3 orang pakar pendidikan (dengan kualifikasi minimal doktor) untuk membahas, memberi masukan, dan memberi penilaian terhadap strategi scaffolding IMWR yang dikembangkan. Proses penilaian menggunakan instrumen validasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan cara menghitung skor dari validator untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas strategi scaffolding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi scaffolding IMWR sangat valid (dengan skor 3,79) dan reliabel (dengan skor 0,93) sehingga dapat digunakan untuk membantu menerapkan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran. AbstractThe scientific approach is one of the approaches suggested in the 2013 Curriculum. The purpose of the research was to test the validity and reliability of scaffolding strategies in the scientific approach. The research method is descriptive through focus group discussions (FGD). The FGD was conducted in order to validate the scaffolding strategy by 3 education experts (with a minimum doctoral qualification) to discuss, provide input, and provide an assessment of the IMWR scaffolding strategy developed. The assessment process used a validation instrument. Data analysis used descriptive analysis by calculating the score of the validator to determine the validity and reliability of the scaffolding strategy. The results showed that the IMWR scaffolding strategy was very valid (with a score of 3.79) and reliable (with a score of 0.93) so that it could be used to help apply a scientific approach to learning.

Pandemi covid 19 terjadi secara mendadak sehingga pembelajaran pada semua jenjang Pendidikan terjadi secara daring. Pembelajaran daring dilakukan tanpa ada persiapan guru dan siswa sehingga dilakukan dengan cara seadanya menggunakan media sosial dan learning management system. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pembelajaran daring dan luring pada matapelajaran biologi di SMU. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa seluruh siswa SMUN 1 Bojonegoro dengan sampel kelas XI yang berjumlah 105 orang. Sampling dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling. Data hasil penelitian adalah nilai ulangan harian biologi saat melakukan pembelajaran daring dan luring. Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis varians dua jalur berbantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikans antara system pembelajaran daring dan luring, tidak ada perbedaan pembelajaran daring dan luring pada kategori kelas (rendah, sedang, dan tinggi), ada interaksi signifikans antara kategori kelas dan system pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar biologi di sekolah menengah. Temuan menarik dari penelitian ini ada kecenderungan kelas rendah mempunyai mean lebih tinggi dari kelas sedang maupun tinggi pada system pembelajaran daring meskipun dari hasil uji varian tidak menunjukkan perbedaan. Ini menjadi peluang untuk penelitian lanjutan.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menelaah pemahaman mahasiswa calon tentang konsep struktur dan sifat virus. Penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik survey dilakukan pada mahasiswa calon guru di UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Mahasiswa yang terlibat berjumlah 48 orang dengan purposive sampling. Instrumen berupa tes pilihan ganda yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli biologi dan ahli pendidikan yang selanjutnya dimasukkan dalam google formulir dan dikirimkan melalui grup WA. Data respon mahasiswa dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman mahasiswa calon guru pada indicator menganalisis sifat virus sebesar 58,8 %, menunjukkan struktur virus sebesar 37,5, mengidentifikasi 68,8 % dan menganalisis stuktur virus sebesar 77,1. Rata-rata pemahaman mahasiswa calon guru tentang materi virus sebesar 60,53 % (kategori rendah) sehingga perlu adanya kajian kurikulum tentang materi virus.

This study aims to determine the application of learning electrical materials online using the PhET (Physics Education and Technology) simulation media for grade VI students. This quantitative descriptive study illustrates how the PhET simulation media is used in learning to cognitive learning outcomes. Sampling using purposive sampling technique as many as 10 students of MIN 2 Sidoarjo. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires and tests which were sent to students via google form. The student's score is compared to the school's KKM score and the percentage is calculated. The results showed that (i) 80% of students scored above 75 with an average of 85,4 and (ii) 91% of students responded positively to using this application.

Upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan mendorong pemerintah mengembangkan Kurikulum 2013. Kurikulum ini dilaksanakan bertahap, namun tahun 2014 pelaksanaannya mengalami moratorium. Kurikulum 2013 dengan pendekatan saintifik 5 M dianggap sulit dan belum memiliki dampak dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan menggunakan metode konvensional dan pendekatan saintifik. Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah UIN Sunan Ampel yang berjumlah 12 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes. Materi yang digunakan ekologi dan pencemaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one group pretest posttest. Penelitian dimulai dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Di akhir pembelajaran diberikan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis. Selanjutnya, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan saintifik di kelas yang sama, kemudian pada akhir pembelajaran dilakukan tes berpikir kritis dengan soal sama. Data dianalisis dengan paired samples t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang signifikan (1%) antara pembelajaran menggunakan metode konvensional dan pendekatan saintifik. Pendekatan ini dianjurkan dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis.

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected education and work systems around the world, causing schools and public places to be closed or limiting the number of users. Hybrid Learning is learning that combines two activities or learning models, namely combining online learning and face-to-face learning at the same time. Various kinds of perceptions of students who address the learning model. The focus of the study in this research is divided into three things, namely online learning, face-to-face learning, and hybrid learning. The purpose of this study was to determine how the perceptions of students at MTs Negeri 2 Sidoarjo on hybrid learning. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods with research instruments using interviews and an online questionnaire via Google Forms. Respondents in this study were students of MTs Negeri 2 Sidoarjo. The results of this study can be concluded that students like hybrid learning that is applied in schools. Because students prefer face-to-face learning because they can understand the material clearly and can interact directly with other students.

Currently in various parts of the world are being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic which has caused several sectors to experience a significant impact, one of which is in the world of education. Due to the pandemic, the learning process must be carried out from home. During the learning from home, several problems appeared, one pf which was the decrease in student activity in the learning process, especially in science subjects. The purpose of this was determine the factors that triggered the decline in student inactivity in the learning process of science subjects during the pandemic at SMP Negeri 10 Gresik and SMP Negeri 1 Babat in 2020/2021 academic year. The research approach used descriptive qualitative, and the research subjects were students of class VII, VIII, and IX of SMP Negeri 10 Gresik and SMP Negeri 1 Babat totalling 82 students. A questionnaire was used to collect data. The result showed that the factors that triggered the decline in student activity in the learning process during the pandemic included student conditions during learning, student anxiety during the learning process, student learning motivation, and student environment.

Students in the millennial era are very dependent on the internet so that all activities cannot be separated from handphones. This condition can be used in learning, to assign students to look for information on the internet in doing assignments, compiling papers, and during presentation discussions. This study aims to determine the difference in scientific literacy before and after learning with information search on biology topics. This research with one group pretest-posttest design involving 26 students of UIN Sunan Ampel. Data collection techniques with tests. Tests are given before and after learning with information search. Data analysis was done by t-test, ANOVA, and regression. The calculation of the n-gain value was also carried out to determine the increase in scientific literacy. T-test shows there are differences in students' scientific literacy before and after learning with information search. Although different, the increase is still low because of the n-gain value of 0.28 (low category). Based on the results of the ANOVA test, it can be seen that are differences in the dimensions of content, process, and process. Tukey test obtained the highest average on the content dimension. Information search has the best effect on content learning so that the content dimension contributes the most to scientific literacy

This study aimed to determine changes in students' prior knowledge of preconception reconstruction results using information-seeking strategies in learning. A total of 26 student-teacher candidates at an Islamic university in Surabaya, East Java, were involved voluntarily in this survey research. At the beginning of the lecture, students take part in the pre-test, learning using information searching strategies for seven weeks, and post-test at the end of the lecture. Data analysis was performed using content analysis and t-test understanding analysis to determine changes in student preconceptions. The results showed that there were very significant differences in students' understanding of science due to conceptual changes after learning using information searching strategies. The percentage of students who maintained correct preconceptions was greater than those with incorrect preconceptions. That is what changes the preconception from false to true. The implication is that information searching can help students make decisions to maintain or change their preconceptions.

Kemampuan pedagogik, konten, dan teknologi yang dikenal dengan istilah technology pedagogy content knowledge (TPACK) sangat penting bagi guru. Selama ini, penelitian TPACK sering dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket untuk mengetahui pengetahuan TPACK guru dan calon guru. Penelitian TPACK pada mahasiswa pendidikan profesi guru untuk mengukur keterampilannya masih belum banyak dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan pedagogik (PK), pengetahuan isi (CK), dan pengetahuan teknologi (TK) terhadap TPACK dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) berbasis RPP. Penelitian kuantitatif ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa pendidikan profesi guru UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya pada tahun 2023. Peserta berjumlah 20 orang yang dipilih secara acak dari seluruh Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan dari desain RPP mahasiswa selanjutnya dianalisis berdasarkan indikator TPACK dan HOTS yang dikembangkan peneliti. Skor yang dihasilkan dianalisis analisis jalur dengan smartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan teknologi (TK) mempengaruhi teknologi berbasis pedagogi (TPK), pengetahuan pedagogik (PK) mempengaruhi teknologi berbasis konten (TCK) dan teknologi berbasis pedagogi (TPK) mempengaruhi pengetahuan konten pedagogik teknologi (TPACK). HOTS tidak dipengaruhi oleh content, pedagogy, dan technology.
