Abstract

The writing ability of Indonesian students is generally low. It was marked by the lack of young writers in Indonesia who are able to produce scientific papers. Madrasah Aliyah Featured K.H. Abd. Wahab Hasbulloh (MAUWH) Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang is one of the boarding school-based formal education institutions that are committed to printing students to have the ability to write scientific articles. With a service-learning approach, community mentoring activities in MAUWH aims to (1) develop a program of writing scientific articles in the assisted community environment; and (2) improving the ability of assisted participants in preparing scientific articles. This community assistance activity is carried out through three stages, namely pre-implementation, implementation and post-implementation. Through the involvement of internal and external stakeholders, this community assistance activity succeeded in developing a scientific article writing program at MAUWH. It was marked by the drafting of the guidebook for writing scientific articles, the publication of the Journal El-Hijaz with the OJS (Open Journal System) System, and the output of scientific research in the form of journal articles.

Abstract

Maraknya pemberitaan kasus kekerasan di pondok pesantren selama beberapa tahun terakhir menimbulkan kekhawatiran adanya dehumanisasi pendidikan pesantren. Menyikapi kekhawatiran tersebut, Maqashid al-Shari’ah dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai instrumen pengembangan pesantren yang humanis dan ramah anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalsis kemungkinan Maqashid al-Shari’ah sebagai panduan etis pengembangan pesantren ramah anak di Indonesia. Data riset kualitatif kepustakaan ini diperoleh dari karya-karya para pakar Maqashid al-Shari’ah seperti Ibn ‘Ashur, al-Raysuni, Jamaluddin ‘Athiyyah dan lain-lain serta dari berbagai literatur yang mengkaji konsep pesantren ramah anak. Pendekatan Maqashidiy digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk memperoleh jawaban atas rumusan masalah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Maqashid al-Shari’ah dapat dijadikan panduan etis dalam pengembangan pesantren ramah anak. Pedoman etis tersebut bertumpu pada lima prinsip, yaitu mura’at al-fithrah (menjaga fitrah), hifz al-amni (proteksi keamanan), jalb al-rahmah (menghadirkan kasih sayang), al-musawah (non-diskriminasi), dan al-hurriyah (kemerdekaan). Implikasi penelitian ini adalah bahwa pengembangan pesantren ramah anak berbasis Maqashid al-Shari’ah tidak hanya berorientasi pada kemaslahatan anak di dunia, melainkan juga di akhirat.

Abstract

The Maliki school of thought has made a major contribution to the development of Islamic legal theory (usul al-fiqh). However, there has not been much research that has paid serious attention to the dynamics of the Islamic legal theory that developed in the Maliki School. This research aims to analyze the Maliki School of Islamic legal theory from a socio-historical perspective. This library research places the work of usul al-fiqh written by Malikiyah scholars as the primary data source. Meanwhile, secondary data sources were obtained from various other works that are relevant to the study topic. This research found that the Maliki School of Islamic legal theory developed dynamically because it was influenced by the social context. In the early of the formative period, the Maliki School was known as ahl al-atsar (textualists) because of its preference for the sunnah as a source of Islamic law. However, in subsequent developments, Malikiyah scholars became increasingly rationalist with a tendency to use ra'y with various variants (al-maslahat al-mursalah, istihsan, etc.) which relied on maqashid al-shari'ah in efforts to discover Islamic law.

Abstract

The current Islamic education system in Indonesia still has questions about the position and competence of its graduates, who are less able to compete with the quality of graduates from other institutions that really pay attention to educational issues. Therefore, Islamic educational institutions must improve. One of the improvements that needs to be made is the management of Islamic education. This article was written in an attempt to make a conceptual study of how innovation and adaptation of Islamic education management are to technological developments. This article is a type of qualitative research with a library research approach. The results of the analysis show that the direction of innovation and transformation of Islamic education management as a step of change includes planning, organizing, mobilizing and supervising through cooperation carried out effectively, efficiently and productively to achieve mutually determined goals. Islamic educational institutions should ensure human resources, in this case teachers as the spearhead of the educational process, can be the main priority and short-term goal for every educational institution. So that in a short time, each educational institution can ensure that it has human resources (teachers) who have competence in accordance with the needs and developments of the times.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this study is to examine a verdict that involves the element of Misuse of Circumstances or Undue Influence, which is a crime that cannot be directly observed but significantly affects an agreement, as an event where one person promises something to another, or where two people promise each other to do something. Misuse of Circumstances is an act where the parties are bound by an agreement that one party has an unbalanced position and the other party exploits their weakness to gain an advantage. This research is conducted using a normative juridical method, which involves examining various formal legal regulations such as legislation and literature containing theoretical concepts, which are then linked to the issue to be discussed in this journal. The research findings in this verdict indicate that there has been a misuse of circumstances in the agreement between the parties involved in this decision. Due to the misuse of circumstances, the agreement of Sale and Purchase between the parties can be annules.Keywords: Agreement; Undue Influence; Sale and Purchase. AbstrakTujuan dari kajian ini yakni untuk mengkaji sebuah putusan yang didalamnya terdapat unsur Penyalahgunaan Keadaan, termasuk kejahatan yang tidak bisa terlihat secara langsung, namun efeknya mempengaruhi sebuah perjanjian. Perjanjian termasuk sebuah situasi yang mana seorang individu memberikan janji kepada individu lainnya, atau yang mana dua individu saling bertukar janji untuk menjalankan sebuah tindakan tertentu. Penyalahgunaan keadaan termasuk sebuah perbuatan dimana para pihak terikat sebuah perjanjian, suatu pihak mempunyai posisi yang tidak seimbang sehingga pihak lain memanfaatkan kelemahan tersebut untuk mengambil keuntungan. Kajian ini disusun menggunakan metode yuridis normatif, yang berarti penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menelaah beragam aturan hukum yang bersifat formal, seperti perundang-undangan dan literatur yang memuat konsep-konsep teoretis. Hasil kajian ini kemudian dikaitkan dengan permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam jurnal ini. Hasil penelitian dalam putusan ini yakni, dalam perjanjian antara para pihak yang terjadi di dalam putusan ini, sudah terjadi penyalahgunaan keadaan, maka perjanjian Ikatan Jual Beli antara para pihak bisa dibatalkan.Kata Kunci: Perjanjian; Penyalahgunaan Keadaan; Jual Beli.

Abstract

The emergence of Industry 5.0 presents new demands for curriculum models that are not only technologically adaptive but also human-centered. This article proposes a conceptual model for curriculum reconstruction based on blended learning, combining digital and face-to-face modalities to promote flexibility, personalization, and deeper engagement. Positioned as a strategic response to the pedagogical and ethical challenges of Industry 5.0, the model integrates interdisciplinary content, learner autonomy, and authentic assessment practices. Findings suggest that blended learning, when designed as a core curricular architecture rather than a delivery method, enables the formation of future-ready learners. It is concluded that integrating blended learning into curriculum frameworks is essential for creating inclusive and resilient education systems, and institutions are encouraged to adopt this model as a foundation for long-term transformation

Abstract

This research aims to examine how innovative marketing management strategies are implemented in higher education. Strategies to attract new customers and retain old customers require universities to develop a competitive advantage based on the quality of their services. This study uses a qualitative method with a type of library research. The data used in this research comes from scientific articles published in academic journals, research report results, and other related documents. Data was collected using documentation study techniques. Meanwhile, the analysis technique used is content analysis, which aims to evaluate the content of the collected literature. The findings of this research indicate that the marketing management of educational services from the perspective of the Qur'an can be carried out through the methods of bil hikmah, mauidhah hasanah, and al jidal billati hiya ahsan. The orientation and model of service marketing are implemented in a holistic spiritual manner based on religious values.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategy of the quality assurance system of Islamic higher education in improving the quality of institutions in the era of globalization and the industrial revolution 4.0. Quality assurance is seen as important as a quality control instrument in maintaining and developing the quality of education. This research uses a qualitative method with the type of library research. Data were obtained from scientific articles published in academic journals, research reports, and other related documents using documentation techniques. Data analysis was conducted through content analysis to evaluate the content of the collected literature. The results showed that the application of total quality management in education can encourage more effective and sustainable institutional change. In the context of higher education, assessment and accreditation that have been focusing on inputs and outputs can be improved through the application of total quality management that integrates inputs, processes, and outputs as a whole.

Abstract

The colonial government's marriage regulations sparked debates among Islamic scholars, with responses ranging from acceptance and rejection to compromise. This study examines the ulama's response to the draft Marriage Ordinance in the Dutch East Indies, as reported in the Suara Nahdlatul Ulama magazine in 1927. As library-based research, this empirical study on Islamic law employs a socio-historical and legal-political approach. Data were collected from historical documents, including the 1927 edition of Suara Nahdlatul Ulama and other relevant literature. The study found that ulama’s responses to the draft Marriage Ordinance in the Dutch East Indies fell into three categories: rejection, acceptance, and compromise. From a legal-political perspective, these responses reflect the dynamics between Islamic and colonial law. Rejection symbolized efforts to maintain Islamic legal autonomy, acceptance was seen as a step toward modernizing Islamic marriage law, while compromise indicated negotiations between the two systems. The findings contribute to the discourse on the interaction between Islamic and colonial law in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Utilization of WhatsApp Application Features and Zoom Cloud Meetings as Online Learning Media during the Class IX Covid-19 Pandemic at MTs An-Nashihin Kademangan, inhibiting factors and supporting factors in the use of WhatsApp application features and zoom cloud meetings as online learning media. during the covid-19 pandemic class IX at MTs An-nashihin Kademangan and solutions that were carried out to overcome obstacles that occurred in the use of the whatsapp application features and zoom cloud meetings as online learning media during the covid-19 pandemic class IX at MTs An-Nashihin Kademangan This research was conducted at MTs An-Nashihin Kademangan, South Tangerang City from February 8, 2022 to February 21, 2022. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The results of the study show that teachers have utilized the WhatsApp application features and zoom cloud meetings to support online learning activities, by utilizing various available features such as photo, video, document, video calls, and video conferencing features. From the results of this study, it is recommended that educators further improve their competence regarding the use of ICT, so that the readiness of learning using technology-based learning can be maximized.
