Abstract

Introduction: Compliance is related to a change in behavior from behavior that does not obey the rules to behavior that obeys the rules such as revisiting three-month injections on schedule so that it can affect changes in the acceptor's menstrual cycle. Method: Cross-sectional research approach. The population and samples in this study were mothers who made a three-month injection re-visit at Independent Practice of a Midwife as many as 60 samples using the chi-square test. Result: The results showed that most of the respondents were compliant with the three-month injection revisit as much as 60.00%. Most of them were 58.33% with irregular menstrual cycles. The statistical test results with the chi-square test obtained a p-value of 0.000 <α (0.05), so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, which means that there is a relationship between re-visit compliance and menstrual cycles in three-month injectable family planning acceptors at independent practice of a midwife, Jember City. Conclusion: This study showed that compliance with re-visits of three-month injectable family planning acceptors was able to increase the regular menstrual cycle and non-compliance with re-visits of three-month injectable family planning acceptors was able to increase the irregular menstrual cycle. It is expected for three-month injectable family planning acceptors to control the re-visit schedule regularly.

Abstract

Teenagers are the next generation of a nation, who are expected to be the bearers of the baton of a country's development in achieving national prosperity. Health issues are very important, especially for teenagers. Many adolescent nutritional problems occur due to incorrect nutritional behavior, such as an imbalance between nutrition and recommended nutritional adequacy. Lack of energy and protein affects the body, resulting in obesity, chronic energy deficiency (malnutrition) and anemia. A preliminary study through an initial examination of 17 female adolescents at MA Yasrama, found that 2 people (11.7%) had severe anemia, 11 people (64.7%) had moderate anemia and 4 people (23.5%) had mild anemia. Apart from that, there were 8 teenagers who were classified as thin and had a height of <150 cm. The purpose of implementing this Community Service (PKM) activity is to create teenagers who care about their own health, are responsive to unhealthy behavior and are able to prevent and overcome their health problems independently so that the health level of teenagers can improve. This is done through activities to identify health problems in adolescents, education and assistance regarding healthy living behavior in adolescence as well as peer training and at the end of the activity, monitoring and evaluation of the results of these activities are carried out. This community service activity was carried out from April 2024 to September 2024, involving 30 female youth participants at MA Yasrama, Baratan Village, Jember Regency.

Abstract

Introduction : Lack of balanced nutritional intake can have an impact on health, namely being able to experience Chronic Energy Deficiency (CHD) disorders. Where these disorders have an impact on the health of WUS during pregnancy. Edgar Dale's cone of experience is widely adopted to determine appropriate tools or media. Purpose : to analyze the effect of HBM-based video media on perceptions of balanced nutritional intake in WUS in the Jember Kidul Puskesmas work area. Method: The method used is a comprehensive sample strategy with a total of thirty respondents. In accordance with the Heilt trust model theory, the perception questionnaire is the tool used. Data analysis using the Independent T-Test method.. Result : The study's findings indicate that there is little variation in the mean value of WUS perceptions between those who receive video media and those who do not, at 43.46% and 42.00%, respectively. Based on the results of the independent t-test test, which had p-values of.278≥0.05 and.279≥0.05, H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected, indicating that there is no impact of HBM-based video media on views of a balanced diet in the Jember Kidul Health Center's work area. Discuss and Conclusion : The notion of balanced diet in WUS remains unaffected by the usage of HBM-based video media. In order to develop a healthier and more successful generation, it is anticipated that WUS and families would get instruction regarding the significance of eating a balanced dietary intake to prevent the occurrence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CHD).
