Abstract

Hydroponic Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) is most widely applied on a home and industrial scale. One of the drawbacks of the NFT hydroponic system is that it is very dependent on electricity for 24 hours to power the water pump. The basic principle of the NFT hydroponic system is to flow nutrients to plant roots with a shallow and circulating nutrient layer so that plants get enough water, nutrients, and oxygen. Therefore, the role of the water pump in the hydroponic NFT system is crucial. This research makes the automation of the NFT hydroponic system more efficient using Arduino. There are two main parts to this automation system: the control of pH levels and nutrient distribution. The pH sensor is used to control the pH level of nutrients, and the ultrasonic sensor is used for nutrient distribution. Efficiency is emphasized more on the distribution of nutrients because it absorbs more electrical energy. The method used is to flow the nutrients in the reservoir to a storage tank that is located higher than the plant using a water pump with a large discharge. Nutrients are transported to each plant using the force of gravity. The nutrient volume is controlled automatically using an ultrasonic sensor in the storage tank. The water pump is only activated by the ultrasonic sensor readings on the storage tank. So that the need for electricity to turn on the water pump is reduced, based on tests carried out on the use of a 220-volt AC / 50 Hz / 125-watt water pump and the use of a 250-liter nutrient storage tank, it can be concluded that the system that has been created can save 70% of electricity consumption.

Abstract

Farming rabbits in large numbers produce large amounts of feces and urine. A cage full of feces and urine can cause health problems for rabbits. This research aims to produce an automation system for the disposal of feces and urine in rabbit cages using an Arduino board and implemented in a prototype form. This system uses electronic devices including load cells, HX711 Module to make it easier to read load cells in measuring weight, real-time clock (RTC) for timing, ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 to detect the presence of a certain object, dc motor, L298N motor driver module to control a dc motor, an LCD 16x2 module to display the weight and height of feces and urine, a buzzer as a notification of the status of the container if it is full, and an Arduino Uno as a controller of the entire system. The system operates so that the feces excreted by the rabbit fall onto the conveyor belt. At the same time, the urine passes via the conveyor belt and falls into the cross-section before being pumped into the urine collection container. The feces on the conveyor belt will be moved with a dc motor towards the stool container based on a certain time. Each stool and urine container is weighed with a load cell and ultrasonic sensor to detect when the container is full. Then the condition of the load cell and the ultrasonic sensor is displayed on an LCD 16x2. When one or both containers are full, a buzzer will sound as a notification. The method used in this research is an experimental method by manipulating or controlling natural situations into artificial conditions. The artificial condition is the provision of deliberate control over the object of study. The test results show that this system can remove waste based on the time using a belt conveyor and monitoring the weight and height of the dirt. If the dirt has met the specified limit, the system can activate an alarm as a notification.

Abstract

This research aims at explaining the citizen perception about the presence of city council candidates who came from the housewives. The formulation of the problem is how is the perception of the citizen about the presence of city council candidates from housewives. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive. The research sample was 98 electors. The data collecting technique used questionnaire and the data analyzing technique used interval formulation and percentage. Based on the result that had been done it shows that the citizen disagreed to the candidates of city council from the housewives.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan persepsi masyarakat tentang munculnya calon anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah dari kalangan ibu rumah tangga. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu Bagaimanakah persepsi masyarakat tentang munculnya calon anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah dari kalangan ibu rumah tangga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 98 pemilih. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus interval dan presentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa masyarakat cenderung kurang setuju tentang calon anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah dari kalangan ibu rumah tangga.Kata kunci: fungsi anggota dewan perwakilan rakyat daerah, masyarakat, persepsi.

Abstract

The problem that is often found in river estuaries is the silting/closing of the river mouth by sand sediments from the sea. Jetty as one of the alternative river estuary security buildings can anticipate the sedimentation of material grains at the mouth of the river caused by the influence of sea waves, tidal movement and sediment transport in the river channel. The type of jetty which is in accordance with the characteristics of the air Bengkulu river estuary is short type of jetty with construction from a pile of rocks and tetrapods. The tetrapods weight used ranges from 300 -710 kg at the end and jetty arm the weight of the rubble stone is used between 350 – 550 kg in two layers. The structure of the toe protector ( toe protection) on the jetty is made of piles of rock weighing 70 – 100 kg. the elevation of the jetty peak si planned to be as high as 5.63 m with a peak width of 2.69 kg. Thevalue of ? in location is 2.38 kg/cm2 ? tpermit for sand which 2.5 – 3.0 kg/cm2, so that footing subsoil is able to whitstand the load of the jetty on top of it.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pengenaan PPN terhadap daya beli konsumen barang elektronik di pasar Batusangkar. Penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) yang dilakukan di pasar Batusangkar pada toko elektronik dengan menggunakan pendekatan Deskriftif Kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen barang elektronik di pasar Batusangkar, pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling, jumlah sampel ditentukan sebanyak 50 orang dari jumlah polulasi sebanyak 100 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana, sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa adanya pengaruh pajak pertambahan nilai terhadap daya beli konsumen barang elektronik di pasar Batusangkar. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi antara Pajak Pertambahan Nilai dengan Daya Beli sebesar 0,812 yang bearti korelasi positif dan mempunyai hubungan yang sangat kuat, Artinya jika harga naik maka daya beli konsumen akan menurun mengakibatkan pajak yang dikenekan berupa PPN juga akan menurun.Kata Kunci : Pajak Pertambahan Nilai, Daya Beli Konsumen

Abstract

Garbage is goods derived from human activities that are no longer used, either unused or discarded. Good waste management not only makes the environment clean and healthy, but can also improve the community's economy. Bueng Village is one of the villages in the Jantho City District, Aceh Besar Regency which is classified as underdeveloped according to the Village Development Index and classified as underdeveloped according to the Village Development Index. The livelihoods of the people in Gampong Bueng are mostly farmers, because this village is located in the mountains and filled with rice fields. The problem that occurs in Bueng Village is that there is no garbage disposal area, so a lot of garbage is thrown carelessly around the location and causes an unpleasant odor. Therefore, there is a need for a garbage disposal site that can make it easier for the surrounding community to dispose of waste in its place. So the potential for used drums is very interesting to function as a high-value trash can both from an aesthetic and economical point of view. In addition to having the advantage of a strong base material, used drums have sufficient volume. The purpose of making this trash can is to minimize waste in Bueng Village. With the trash can, there will be public awareness to collect garbage and dispose of garbage in its place so that the environment is clean and free from disease.Keywords: Used drums, environment, garbage
