Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN Sirapan 02 Madiun Regency on the material of forms of matter and their changes using diorama media. The method used is classroom action research (PTK) with the spiral model from Kemmis and McTaggart which consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection, which is carried out in a pre-cycle and two cycles. The research subjects were 16 class IV students. Data collection was carried out through learning results tests, observation, interviews and documentation, analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed an increase in the average score from 65.7 in cycle I to 82.3 in cycle II, as well as an increase in student motivation and enthusiasm. Diorama media is effective in improving learning outcomes and can be used as an interactive learning medium for science material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji fungsi laten dari Lembaga Pendidikan Keterampilan (LPK) Putra Bragas Mandiri Wonosobo dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pekerja migran. Masih adanya kasus penyaluran pekerja migran secara ilegal tanpa pendidikan dan pelatihan yang memadai mendorong LPK ini untuk menerapkan strategi khusus guna mempersiapkan tenaga kerja yang siap bersaing di luar negeri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan berlokasi di LPK Putra Bragas Mandiri Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi laten dari LPK ini mencakup: (1) Adaptasi, melalui penyediaan pendidikan dan pelatihan bahasa asing (2) Pencapaian tujuan, melalui pelatihan soft skills (3) Integrasi, melalui penguatan nilai-nilai agama dan orientasi budaya  (4) Pemeliharaan pola bina mental dan pengembangan jaringan alumni. Semua fungsi ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan kompetensi pekerja migran dan kesuksesan mereka di luar negeri.

Abstract

Students' learning motivation is considered to be still low, one of the reasons is that learning models and media are less enjoyable. Strategy for overcoming existing problems by practicing the quiziz-based cooperative learning model. This research aims to find out how the use of the Quizizz-based cooperative learning model can increase student motivation and learning outcomes in studying science. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The sample in this research was 14 students. The research results showed that in cycle I, an average of 57.5% was classified as being in the medium category, and data from student observations in cycle II, an average of 72.5% was in the good category. Student learning outcomes also show improvement. This is shown by observation data from cycle I: completeness of learning outcomes was 69%. However, when cycle II actions were carried out, student learning outcome data increased by 78%. Keywords: Learning models, student motivation, learning outcomes
