Abstract

Multicultural education seeks to teach diversity, one of which is through Islamic boarding school culture in the form of Islamic boarding school rules, habits or routine activities. Research objective: to analyze a planning, implementation and evaluation process of multicultural education at the Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School Ngabar Ponorogo. Qualitative research method with case studies. Research results: Multicultural education planning through working meetings at beginning of new school year; the implementation of Multicultural education is determined and implemented in the forum for introducing new students (ta'aruf) at the Khutbatul Iftitah or commonly referred to as the introduction week for new students at the Wali Songo Ngabar Islamic boarding school, precisely after the end of the Ramdhan and Shawwal holidays; The evaluation process is carried out at every leadership meeting and institutional meeting. The planning, implementation and evaluation process is part of the management tasks of Islamic education, both formal and non-formal, and within the scope of Islamic boarding schools. Multicultural education in Islamic schools is education for cultural diversity which has the urgency of implementing an attitude of tolerance and mutual respect for differences.

Abstract

MI Kresna in its history has prioritized the attitude of religious tolerance, meaning accepting all changes including the culture of society, and not discriminating against any religious organization, nor being fanatical about a particular sect, and this is what makes it continue to exist and be accepted by the wider community. This study uses a qualitative type with a case study approach, data collection through interviews, observation and documentation, data analysis through condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study, namely: internalization of the value of moderation in the formulation of educational marketing mix strategies at MI Kresna Mlilir Madiun, which includes determining promotions, determining activity plans, determining educational funding, applying the value of tolerance, seeing the conditions of prospective students, being simple and not excessive in planning. Internalization of the value of moderation in the implementation of educational marketing mix strategies through creative learning activities, habituating religious activities, reflecting a moderate attitude or not being excessive/fanatical, and respecting multiculturalism in education. Internalization of the value of moderation in the evaluation of marketing mix strategies, by applying an attitude of tolerance, respect, not being excessive in attitudes and actions.

Abstract

Optimizing The Faith And Devotional Night Guidance (Mabit) Activity To Improve The Spiritual Intelligence Of Students At Al-Mutmainnah Diniyah Madrasah Winong Jetis Ponorogo. Spiritual intelligence is very important for every human soul, although brain intelligence (IQ) cannot be denied. Many people have intellectual intelligence, but fail in living their lives and social activities. They have personalities that do not integrate between reason and heart. This guidance process prioritizes the balance of life in the world and the hereafter, through the practice of sharia. This community service activity aims to improve the spiritual intelligence of students at Al-Mutmainnah Islamic school Winong Jetis Ponorogo through the activity of fostering faith and piety nights, and analyzing the success of the mentoring process in the activity of fostering faith and piety nights towards improving the spiritual intelligence of students at Al-Mutmainnah Islamic school Winong Jetis Ponorogo. This service uses the PAR or Participatory Action Research method. PAR is a research process that involves human resources (HR), especially researchers and devotees, which aims to solve problems. Results: The process of implementing the mentoring of the night of faith and piety activities at the Al-Mutmainnah Islamic school includes several stages. First, it begins with preparing a plan that includes activities to formulate objectives, socialize the program plan, determine schedule of activities and tasks of the mentors, and determine indicators of activity achievement. Second, the stage of implementing activities in the form of coaching, training, monitoring, increasing spirituality through Islamic tausiyah/storytelling, getting used to obligatory and sunnah worship, and others. The last stage is evaluation and continuous improvement.

Abstract

The outbreak of the Corona virus (Covid-19) has changed religious practices in the life of the Muslim community. Religious practices are now changing and adapting according to different health protocols from the previous situation. Religious adherents are no longer in conflict with the lusts and disturbances of the devil and all kinds of things, but now have to deal with a deadly virus in performing religious rituals. Islam has invited mankind to follow the teachings in the Qur'an in a wise manner, good words, and clear exchange of ideas. This principle emphasizes that the spread of Islam must be carried out taking into account the situation and conditions of the community concerned, as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The type of research used is qualitative research with a phenomenological study approach, namely an approach that tries to explain or reveal the meaning of concepts or phenomena of experience based on the awareness that occurs in several individuals. Collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Checking the validity of the data with the triangulation method. The results of the study: (1) The tradition of festive feasts in the village of Sendang Jambon Ponorogo has existed since the time of the ancestors, namely around the 1940s, before Indonesia's independence. (2) The tradition of celebrating Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha has become a routine for the residents of Sendang village, the majority of which are Nahdliyin people. The tradition is carried out on the night of the feast or called megengan, and in the morning after carrying out the 'Id prayer, by bringing tumpeng rice and giving lectures and prayers together. (3) The spiritual value in the kenduri tradition is carried out as a form of public gratitude for the coming of Muslim holidays, friendship, maintaining unity and integrity, mutual cooperation, giving alms, etc.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach, which explored empirical data in the field and was described in an in-depth descriptive manner. Data mining techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis process goes through three stages, namely data condensation, data presentation and conclusions. The purpose to describe the history of the emergence of the tedhak siten tradition for the people of the city of Madiun, the implementation of the tedhak siten tradition for the people Madiun city, and the value of Islamic education from the tedhak siten tradition for the people of the city of Madiun. Results of the study: The history of the emergence of the tedhak siten tradition has long been before Islam came to the land of Java, then developed and preserved by Muslims until now to become a tradition of Javanese Islamic society which is characterized by religious values and Islamic education; The implementation of the tedhak siten tradition, namely when the baby is 7 months old, is ready to develop by crawling and is practicing standing and walking, this tradition begins with the ritual of bathing the flowers, held up by its parents and the soles of its feet are stepped on to Javanese food in the form of jaddah, baby is raised to the toy ladder with the word education level on it, the last one is locked up in a chicken cage in which various kinds of toys, then the congregation prays together; The value of Islamic education in the tedhak siten tradition is that newborn babies grow and develop into children who will later receive teaching and knowledge in their later adulthood. childhood level, elementary, secondary to tertiary education, and a child is equipped with the mind and knowledge. AbstrakPenelitian ini menggunakan jenis kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik penggalian data dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Proses analisis data melalui tiga tahapan yaitu pemadatan data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan sejarah munculnya tradisi tedhak siten bagi masyarakat kota Madiun, pelaksanaan tradisi tedhak siten, dan nilai pendidikan Islam dari tradisi tedhak siten bagi masyarakat kota Madiun. Hasil penelitian: Sejarah munculnya tradisi tedhak siten sudah jauh sebelum Islam datang ke tanah Jawa, kemudian berkembang dan dilestarikan oleh umat Islam hingga saat ini menjadi tradisi masyarakat Islam Jawa yang bercirikan nilai-nilai religi dan Pendidikan Agama Islam; Pelaksanaan tradisi tedhak siten yaitu pada saat bayi berumur 7 bulan sudah siap berkembang dengan merangkak dan sedang berlatih berdiri dan berjalan, tradisi ini diawali dengan ritual memandikan bunga, injak kaki ke makanan ketan jaddah, naik tangga mainan yang bertuliskan jenjang pendidikan, dan dikurung dalam kandang ayam dengan macam mainan, serta do’a bersama; Nilai pendidikan Islam dalam tradisi tedhak siten adalah agar bayi yang baru lahir tumbuh dan berkembang menjadi anak-anak yang kelak akan menerima pengajaran dan ilmu di usia dewasa nanti.
