Abstract

Dalam menjual kamar kepada tamu, front desk agent hendaklah melakukannya dengan mempergunakan tehnik agar kamar yang tipe tertinggi juga ditawarkan, sehingga tamu mengetahui jenis jenis akomodasi kamar yang ada di ARTOTEL Yogyakarta. Pilihan tamu tidak bisa ditebak dalam memilih kamar yang akan mereka tempati, tetapi pengaruh front desk agent memegang peran penting agar tamu bisa mendapatkan kamar yang terbaik dari hotel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, untuk mendapatkan data primer dan data sekunder, dilakukan wawancara, observasi, angket dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya front desk agent dalam menerapkan selling technique di ARTOTEL Yogyakarta pada kriteria sangat baik 27,78%, kriteria baik 38,89%, dan kriteria cukup baik sebesar 27,78% dan kriteria tidak baik sebesar 5,55%. Metode yang digunakan ARTOTEL Yogyakarta untuk meningkatkan tingkat penjualan kamar dari metode Up-Selling.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of optimal use of social media by most tourist attractions in Sungai Penuh City. Depati VII Coffee is the most active and consistent tourist attraction that utilizes social media, especially Instagram, compared to other natural attractions in the region. This study aims to find out how Depati VII Coffee's social media promotion is implemented and how visitors respond to this strategy. The research method used is a quantitative approach with simple random sampling techniques, using a Likert scale closed questionnaire to visitors. The data were analyzed descriptively with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 27 application. The results of the study show that the promotion strategy through Instagram has been effective. The context variable obtained a mean value of 4.15 which indicates that the promotional message is considered interesting and relevant. The communication variable recorded the highest value of 4.17, indicating responsive and informative communication. The collaboration variable received a value of 3.86, describing a collaboration that is quite good but can still be improved, while the connection with a value of 3.92 shows the loyalty and attachment of followers to the Depati VII Coffee account. Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of comprehensively identifying the components of tourist attractions at Ketapang Beach, Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency, in line with efforts to develop a sustainable tourism destination. The study aims to analyze the tourist attractions as well as the obstacles in their management. The method used is qualitative descriptive through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis involving data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that Ketapang Beach has strong and multidimensional tourist attractions, formed by a combination of recreational activities, natural beauty, and local cultural attractions. Tourist activities, including recreation, education, and social activities, demonstrate that the beach functions not only as a leisure space but also as a site for social interaction and learning. The natural uniqueness, such as the wide stretches of white sand, long coastline, coastal pine trees, and the view of the hills along the Rupat Island–Malaysia border, provides visitors with distinctive visual and emotional experiences. However, the management of Ketapang Beach’s tourist attractions still faces significant challenges, including limited funding, coastal abrasion, inadequate promotion, overlapping institutional responsibilities, insufficient facilities, and suboptimal accessibility. These conditions affect the maintenance of facilities, the development of attractions, and the overall sustainability of the beach’s tourism potential Keywords: tourist attractions, tourist activities, destination management, Ketapang Beach.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of scientific research on the elements that form the tourist attraction of Depati VII Coffee as a popular tourist attraction in Sungai Penuh City. In addition, there are still aspects of tourism that need to be arranged and developed to suit the concept of cultural and educational tourism that is carried out. This study aims to analyze the tourist attractions of Depati VII Coffee based on the experiences and perceptions of visitors, as well as identify the factors that contribute most to the attraction of the destination. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation, then analyzed through the process of reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the attractiveness of Depati VII Coffee is formed from a combination of tourist activities, natural beauty, distinctive products, regional aesthetics, and supporting facilities. Social activities, recreation, and education are the dominant attractions that provide a complete experience for visitors. Natural beauty such as a beautiful atmosphere, cool air, and expanse of coffee gardens also strengthen the comfort of tourists. Local coffee products are a distinctive identity that distinguishes Depati VII Coffee from other destinations, while adequate facilities support the smooth running of tourism activities even though there are still shortcomings such as limited shelters and internet networks. Overall, Depati VII Coffee has a comprehensive appeal that reflects a combination of natural elements, education, culture, and visitor experience. Strengthening aspects of cultural identity and education is needed so that this destination can develop more optimally.
