Abstract

Installing capacitor filter on the output of rectifier makes the input current waveform becoming distorted that cause harmonic current which results in low power factor value. This article discusses parallel flyback converter as PFC (Power Factor Correction) on 36 V/60 W LED lamp using fuzzy type-2 algorithm. The first flyback converter as voltage dc regulator works in CCM (Continuous Conduction Mode). The second flyback converter as PFC works in DCM (Discontinuous Conduction Mode) to make the resistive converter. The simulation results shows the parallel flyback converter can improve the power factor from 0.597 to become 0.903 and can maintain a constant output voltage of 36 V using fuzzy type-2 algorithm and the input current meets the international harmonics standard of IEC61000-3-2 class C.Keywords: PFC, flyback converter, IEC61000-3-2, LED lamp, fuzzy type-2

Abstract

Introduction: Healthcare providers face increased competition as they expand their facilities and services for patients. Healthcare marketing plays a significant role in their performance, with well-designed strategies resulting in better innovation outcomes and healthcare services. This scoping review analyzed how social media and digital platforms become part of the marketing strategy. Methods: This study employed a scoping review methodology to screen manuscripts from 4 databases: Proquest, Emerald Insight, Springerlink, and Garuda. PEO framework outlined as Population refers to healthcare consumers, Exposure was the digital marketing and Outcome was the effectiveness of social media and digital technologies in hospital. The eligibility criteria included: unrestricted access to the article, published in the last five years, manuscript in English. Results: PRISMA flow chart was used to show each step of the eligibility criteria for article selection. The study selected a total of 7 articles that met the inclusion criteria. Five of the articles showcased hospitals' social media strategies, one highlighted their adoption of social media, and one highlighted the impact of media framing. The social media had been found to positively affected both brand loyalty and the overall customer experience. Conclusion: The report emphasizes how social media and digital platforms are becoming more important in hospital marketing, as well as how they affect consumer satisfaction and brand loyalty.

Abstract

This study is targeted at examining factors that influence accounting information systems using variables of business scale, length of business, accounting knowledge & use of technology. This study had a population of 72 businesses and the sampling method used a saturated sample. In order to collect the data, a questionnaire was also used, a multiple linear regression model using SPSS media. The results of the study show that business scale & use of technology have a significant impact on the accounting information system for herbal medicine MSMEs in Nguter. However, accounting knowledge & length of business are not significant in the accounting information system for herbal medicine MSMEs in Nguter. Keywords: MSMEs, business scale, length of business, accounting knowledge, use of technology, accounting information systems

Abstract

ABSTRACT Outpatient clinic is a vital hospital service that demands focus on both quality and patient satisfaction. With increasing competition among hospitals in Semarang, understanding consumer behavior is crucial. Market segmentation can assist in identifying patient characteristics and their perceptions of healthcare services, which are shaped by factors such as medical communication, the comfort of facilities, and treatment outcomes. These perceptions significantly influence patients' decisions to seek care again in the future. The pediatric outpatient clinic at XYZ Hospital has experienced inconsistent and relatively low visit rates. Therefore, it is essential to analyze consumer perceptions through segmentation to formulate strategies aimed at increasing patient visits. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative study design, employing a case study approach at XYZ Private Hospital in Semarang. The participants in this study are the parents of pediatric patients. We conducted interviews using questionnaires administered to thirty respondents to gain an overview of their characteristics. We also conducted in-depth interviews with five primary informants to validate the findings. The demographic and geographic data reveal that the average age of parents is 36.03 years (SD 5.25), with 80% of respondents being female and 93.1% residing in Semarang. Additionally, 77.7% hold a bachelor's or master's degree (S1/S2), and 40.74% are employed in the private or entrepreneurial sector. In terms of psychographic and behavioral aspects, 60% of respondents discovered the pediatric clinic through friends or family, while 80% initiated their visits independently. The decision to visit was primarily influenced by the strong reputation of the doctors (60%), and 93.34% utilized personal funds or insurance for payment. Regarding costs, 90% rated outpatient fees as "moderate," with 83.33% agreeing that the costs were commensurate with the quality of service. Furthermore, 53.33% rated all staff services as positive or very positive. Furthermore, 60% found the location to be accessible, 63.33% assessed the facilities as clean, and 80% considered them comfortable. The study indicates that patients hold a positive perception of the pediatric clinic services at XYZ Hospital. They value the reputation of the doctors and the quality of facilities more than cost or location. Positive assessments of service quality, comfort, and cost fairness reflect high levels of satisfaction. Keywords: Segmentation, Patient Perception, Pediatric Outpatient.
