Abstract

This study aims to describe the work discipline of teachers and employees on the awareness of implementing time discipline, regulatory discipline, and responsibility discipline. The indicators of the work discipline of teachers and employees are related to the principal's role as a leader and motivator. The leader will be an example and role model for his members in applying work discipline. Likewise, the principal of SD Ta'mirul Islam has a role as a leader and motivator in guiding teachers and employees to apply work discipline. This research is a descriptive research with case study method. The subjects of this study were principals, teachers, and librarians at SD Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique of this research uses triangulation of sources by checking the truth of information from informants and analyzing. The results of the study indicate that there is a role for the principal as a leader and motivator in monitoring teacher work discipline, so that indicators of work discipline from time to time, regulations, and responsibilities can be implemented properly and orderly.Keywords: Work Discipline; Educator; Education Personnel; Principal's Role

Abstract

This study focuses on the challenges of enhancing Arabic listening skills (maharah istima’) in the digital era and the importance of utilizing authentic media for effective learning. Learning Al-Jazeera.Net was chosen as it provides access to relevant and contextual Arabic audio resources. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Learning Al-Jazeera.Net in developing students’ listening skills at IAIN Kediri. A qualitative research approach was used, involving observation and descriptive analysis, with a structured implementation of this media. This includes audio listening exercises, pronunciation imitation, and contextual comprehension practice. The findings indicate that Learning Al-Jazeera.Net is effective in enriching students' learning experiences, facilitating the acquisition of new vocabulary, and improving pronunciation accuracy and sensitivity to dialect variations. However, challenges were identified regarding the stability of question features on mobile devices, limiting learning flexibility. Overall, this media supports listening skill development and provides a more contextual and realistic Arabic learning experience for students.

Abstract

Ciasmara Village, located in Bogor Regency, is one of the villages rich in natural and cultural potential. Currently, Ciasmara Village has more than five natural tourism sectors, one of which is the Curug Gleweran Cikawah sector. The Pancawarna Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) has been working to develop the Curug Gleweran Cikawah natural tourism area. However, a shortage of human resources has become a challenge in advancing this tourism sector. Additionally, Ciasmara Village also boasts unique traditional arts, including the celempung and karinding musical instruments, with practitioners known as the Dangiang Asmara Group. Besides Dangiang Asmara, only a few people are interested in preserving these arts, leading to limited efforts to protect local culture. The Bumi Luhur Program was designed to empower the community through the development of natural and cultural tourism potential. The program has five main components: 1) Sobat Bumi, training for tourism managers; 2) Bumi Priangan, the construction of a cultural center; 3) Bumi Alir, the building of a Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH); 4) Bumi Asri, the creation of camping grounds; and 5) Bumi Napak, the revitalization of hiking trails. During the activities, initial stages included surveys and interviews, followed by implementation phases such as pre- and post-tests, land mapping, procurement of construction materials, installation, and monitoring. The program resulted in natural and cultural tourism sites with self-sufficient energy facilities. Enhanced human resource capacity through training, preserved celempung and karinding art through an approach targeting children, and increased tourist data, which impacted the income of the Ciasmara Village community in the Gleweran Cikawah sector.
