Abstract

Website usability is very important because it can determine and know the quality related to how easily the user can use and learn and learn and whether the website runs in sync according to function and does not cause errors at the time of use. Each website has a different level of usability, the increased level of usability means that the website is easier to understand users (users can easily find what users are looking for quickly and not experience problems). This research aims to find out if the website has met the needs of users and know the difficulties experienced by users. This case study researchers chose the PDAM XYZ website of XYZ city. With the implementation of usability, it is expected that PDAM XYZ will know what is needed by users to access the PDAM XYZ website. Research on the website PDAM XYZ XYZ city is using the web usability evaluation tool (WEBUSE), WEBUSE method is a convenience evaluation method in the form of a web-based ease of use evaluation questionnaire to assess the usefulness of the website being evaluated. Researchers conducted an analysis by taking a sample of 20 users of PDAM XYZ Kota XYZ website. Based on the research that has been done obtained good and excellent results on the four variables, obtained the highest variable is the variable Content, Organization and Readability with a score of 0.89, and the lowest variable is Performance & Effectiveness which gets a score of 0.68.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in minerals such as gold, silver, copper, oil and natural gas, coal and others. Mining materials require a mining process which is an activity in the context of research, management, and so on. PT. Coates Hire Indonesia, which is a stakeholder in heavy equipment leasing, does not yet have a clear and documented business process and Standard Operational Procedure (SOP), especially in the Operations Department, and only has a Safe Work Procedure (SWP) and is only based on verbal instructions from the department. operation. In addition, there was a change in staff which caused the manager to have to explain the flow of activities repeatedly. Therefore, this research was conducted to model and document business processes with BPM Life Cycle using the bizagi modeler and developing SOPs using flowcharts and descriptions. The research begins with the stages of identification, discovery, after that verification of business processes and preparation of SOPs is carried out, which are then carried out by verifying SOPs. Business process modeling starts from the identification stage with interviews to find out ongoing activities and 29 activities are obtained which are modeled. Of the 29 business processes that have been verified by the process owner, an SOP document has been prepared in the form of an SOP document that has been verified and submitted by the operations department manager, and will be used as a reference for operational activities to make it more structured, effective and efficient.

Abstract

The importance of website-based e-SIAK at the Ketapang Regency Population and Civil Registry Service as a public information medium that can provide information effectively and efficiently. This research aims to evaluate the level of usability of the Ketapang Regency Dukcapil website, identify existing usability problems, and provide recommendations for improvements to improve user experience. The method used in this research is usability testing involving a group of participants from the community who frequently use population services. Data obtained from usability testing is analyzed using qualitative and quantitative techniques to identify problems faced by users when interacting with the website. The results of this analysis are then used as a basis for developing recommendations for improvements that can increase the level of user satisfaction and efficiency in using the Ketapang Regency Disdukcapil website. The research results showed that, (1) The Usability Testing method, which involves user participation in system testing, has proven to be an effective approach for evaluating the usability and performance of a website or application. (2) The use of the System Usability Scale (SUS) in this research provides a consistent and tested way to measure user satisfaction with the system being tested. (3) This research shows that although Usability Testing methods provide valuable insights, there remain several challenges in optimizing system usability.Keywords: Usability Testing, Usability, Disdukcapil
