Abstract

Puasa di bulan Ramadan merupakan kewajiban umat Muslim yang membawa banyak manfaat kesehatan jika disertai dengan pola makan bergizi seimbang. Namun, kurangnya pemahaman tentang asupan gizi selama berpuasa dapat berdampak pada kesehatan, khususnya pada anak-anak usia sekolah dasar. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tingkat sekolah dasar (SD) mengenai pentingnya menjaga kesehatan dengan asupan gizi seimbang saat berpuasa. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan di sebuah bimbingan belajar yang diikuti hanya oleh siswa-siswa SD, melalui penyampaian materi interaktif, berupa slides Power Point dan penampilan video edukatif, serta evaluasi melalui tanya jawab dengan siswa-siswa SD. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang pentingnya konsumsi makanan bergizi seimbang yang baik untuk menjaga kesehatan selama Ramadan. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat menjadi langkah awal pembiasaan pola hidup sehat sejak usia dini.

Abstract

In this study, a novel adsorbent material, alumina beads modified with iron oxide and Sapodilla leaves extract (Fe/C/Al?O?), was successfully synthesized and evaluated for its efficiency in remediating lead [Pb (II)] ions from aqueous solutions. To determine the optimal removal conditions, the adsorption performance was investigated under varying operational parameters, including initial Pb (II) concentration, adsorbent dosage, and contact time. The best removal efficiency was achieved at an initial Pb (II) concentration of 60 mg L?¹, with an adsorbent dosage of 1.5 g and a contact time of 30 minutes, resulting in a high Pb (II) removal rate of 97.75%. Comprehensive characterization of the Fe/C/Al?O? adsorbent was conducted using X-ray diffraction (XRD) to determine crystalline structure, nitrogen adsorption–desorption analysis (NA) for surface area and porosity evaluation, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) to observe surface morphology, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) for elemental composition analysis, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) to identify functional groups involved in adsorption. The adsorption data fit the Langmuir isotherm model, indicating monolayer adsorption with a maximum sorption capacity (qmax) of 4.23 mg g?¹. Kinetic studies revealed that the Pb (II) uptake process followed a pseudo-second-order kinetic model, suggesting chemisorption as the dominant mechanism. These findings highlight the potential application of Fe/C/Al?O? as an effective and eco-friendly adsorbent for heavy metal removal in wastewater treatment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the entrepreneurial behaviors of MSME actors in the cassava processing sector in Padang City and their influence on business performance. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews and a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire distributed to cassava processing entrepreneurs. The results indicate that individual factors such as education, experience, and motivation are categorized as high and positively contribute to entrepreneurial behavior. Environmental factors such as input availability, training, capital assistance, promotion, and the cohesiveness among entrepreneurs also support business performance, although challenges remain in extension services, marketing, and business regulations. Overall, the business performance of cassava processing MSMEs in Padang City is classified as high, as reflected in market expansion, increased income, and competitive advantage. The synergy between strong individual characteristics and optimal environmental support is key to enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of cassava processing businesses in Padang City. Abstract

The increasing environmental concerns associated with conventional plastic packaging have accelerated the global pursuit of sustainable alternatives. This review explored the innovative transformation of agricultural waste into eco-friendly food packaging materials, highlighting its potential to address both ecological and economic challenges. Agricultural residues—such as cereal by-products, sugar and starch crop wastes, fruit processing leftovers, and leaf waste—were rich in biopolymers like cellulose, starch, and pectin, making them suitable candidates for biodegradable packaging. Through advancements in green chemistry, biotechnology, and materials science, these wastes are now being repurposed into high-performance, compostable packaging solutions. Relevant literature was selected through a systematic search of peer-reviewed journal articles from databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar, focusing on publications from the last five years that addressed agricultural waste utilization in ecofriendly food packaging. The review synthesizes recent research and technological breakthroughs in this field, showcasing applications ranging from rice husk-based films to cassava starch bioplastics. Furthermore, it examines the environmental benefits of reduced plastic pollution and landfill burden, alongside the economic advantages of waste valorization, rural job creation, and market competitiveness. By turning agricultural residues into valuable resources, this approach supports circular economy principles, enhances food system sustainability, and paves the way for a greener packaging industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Perkembangan Musik Iringan Tari Sekapur Sirih pada Sanggar Lenggang Mude Community di Aceh Tamiang. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana perkembangan yang terjadi pada musik iringan tari Sekapur Sirih di kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk perkembangan yang terjadi dalam musik iringan tari Sekapur Sirih pada sanggar Lenggang Mude Community kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk meneliti pada kondisi objek yang alamiah. Sumber data yang dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai narasumber antara lain Ibu Syafina Arham, Ibu Rezki Kurnia Putri, Ibu Elisa, S.Pd, M.Pd, dan Bapak Nuriza Auliatami. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil yang diperoleh peneliti menunjukkan bahwa Tari Sekapur Sirih adalah salah satu tari tradisional Aceh Tamiang yang umumnya dipentaskan untuk menyambut tamu dan dipersembahkan untuk memuliakan tamu agung yang datang. Tari Sekapur Sirih di Aceh Tamiang merupakan tari tradisi garapan salah satu seniman Tamiang yaitu Syafina Arham pada awal tahun 2000-an. Bertujuan untuk menciptakan kesenian khas dari Aceh Tamiang dalam rangka lahirnya kabupaten Aceh Tamiang sebagai daerah pemekaran dari kabupaten Aceh Timur. Musik iringan tarian Sekapur Sirih menggunakan beberapa alat musik khas Melayu yaitu gendang melayu, akordeon, dan biola. Musik iringan tari Sekapur Sirih dalam sanggar Lenggang Mude Community sudah menggunakan rekaman musik dalam bentuk MP3/CD/VCD yang diaransemen oleh Syafina Arham, dan kemudian tidak mengalami perubahan dalam perkembangannya secara signifikan dari semenjak didirikannya sanggar tersebut sampai sekarang.Kata Kunci: Perkembangan, Musik Iringan, Tari Sekapur Sirih
