Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan PKM yang dilakukan oleh tim dosen di Kecamatan Cabangbungin Kabupaten Bekasi adalah untuk melakukan sosialisasi kepada guru-guru agar dapat memahami tentang kurikulum terbaru yaitu kerikulum merdeka. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan tiga tahap. Pertama, memberikan sosialisasi kepada guru-guru ; kedua, diskusi menganai implemntasi kurikulum merdeka; dan ketiga melakukan penyampaian-penyampain kendala dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah guru di Kecamatan Cabangbungin sangat antusias dalam mengenal, mempelajari, dan memahami implementasi kurikulum merdeka sebagai alternatif pembelajaran di masa sekarang. Simpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah guru lebih kreatif dan inovatif dengan mencoba menerapkan kurikulum merdeka yang sangat bermanfaat untuk digunakan di sekolah maupun di kelas. Saran untuk pihak sekolah sebaiknya dapat memfasilitasi kebutuhan guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka baik dari laptop maupun jaringan internet agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan efektif.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of elementary school students in science subjects in various regions of Indonesia, this is indicated by the large number of students who have not reached the specified KKM score. This problem is caused by the teacher not building a pleasant learning atmosphere and most students are less active, less motivated in learning and not given extensive opportunities to ask questions and express opinions. In such conditions the inquiry learning model can be a solution, because the inquiry learning model can involve students actively in the learning process. This study aims to examine the application of the inquiry learning model to science learning outcomes in elementary schools. The method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by analyzing research results that have been published nationally related to the use of inquiry models on science learning outcomes in elementary schools. The sample for the analysis is 20 journal articles that have been published in the 2017-2022 range, from the twenty journals the researcher then analyzes from various aspects, namely: 1) based on the research method used, 2) journal area, 3) application of the inquiry learning model to science material in low and high grade elementary schools, 4) learning materials, 5) steps of inquiry learning model, 6) based on aspects of learning outcomes indicators in journal articles. Based on the results of the analysis of the inquiry learning model it is proven to be able to improve and have a positive effect on student learning outcomes in science subjects. In each journal article that has been analyzed there are differences in the results of the inquiry learning model but overall this study shows the conclusion that the inquiry learning model can improve learning outcomes and has a large influence on science learning outcomes in elementary schools

Abstract

Teacher have to determine source of learning correctly so that he or she can manage student activity and the items of materials to be given better. Source of learning is object reference and or materials utilized for the activity of learning such as media printing and electronic, guest teacher, and also physical environment like nature, cultural and social. Relate to the mentioned, on academic year 2022 / 2023 one of the source of learning which is used for Science lesson in al muslim Bekasi is Science book arranged by al muslim Surabaya. There are some constraint faced in study of Science when using this book, for example : the items which many and enough heavily, while number of hours Iesson of Science in al muslim Bekasi only 4 hours in week. Besides, less available time which enough for a lesson teacher to draw up materials or appliances to test-drive in verification activity. Finally, in learning and teaching process the result is not maximal. Activity of review (lesson items) usually make bored student, because review only through oral questions. Therefore, designed a media of game " Mention and Get" used as variation of review activity in science learning, specially for the items of energi. Its result, by using media of game " Mention and Get" student learn evaluation can increase mount 20 %, from 64 % (first condition) becoming 84 % the result of final tes. Besides, from student observation also show the make-up of student motivation, from 70 % at first siclus become 90 % at second siclus and 97 % at third ciclus. While teacher performance aspect show " Good” category which increase from 76 % at first ciclus, becoming 84 % at second ciclus and 92 % at third ciclus. From the result, can be concluded that usage of media of game " Mention and Get" can improve student learn evaluation for the items of Energi, at science Iesson in class III Imam Syafi'i of al muslim elementary school Bekasi.

Abstract

In elementary PKn Education, traditional teacher-centered approaches often limit student engagement and hinder learning outcomes. To address this, interactive teaching strategies such as the Question-and-Answer (Q&A) method have gained attention for their potential to enhance conceptual understanding and student participation. This study aims to systematically review existing literature to evaluate the impact of the Q&A method on student learning outcomes in elementary PKn Education classes. Using a quantitative approach within the framework of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), the research analyses relevant studies that explore the application of the Q&A method in primary school PKn Education. The review focuses on student engagement, conceptual understanding, and academic performance. The findings reveal that the Q&A method significantly enhances student involvement, supports deeper understanding of PKn concepts, and leads to improved academic achievement. The method fosters a more dynamic and participatory classroom environment, which positively affects learning outcomes. This systematic review highlights the effectiveness of the Q&A method as a student-centred instructional strategy in PKn Education at the elementary level. It underscores the need for educators to adopt interactive teaching techniques to improve student learning, and provides a foundation for future research and practice in the field.

Abstract

This study aims to improve science and social studies (IPAS) learning outcomes through the implementation of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model assisted by Wordwall media for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Cipanjar Kabupaten Sumedang. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects were 20 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through teacher and student observation sheets as well as learning achievement tests administered at the end of each cycle. The results showed significant improvements in all observed aspects. Teacher performance increased from 57.5% (poor category) in cycle I to 70% (fair category) in cycle II. Student activity improved from 45% (very poor category) in cycle I to 75% (good category) in cycle II. Students’ mastery learning also increased from 45% in cycle I to 75% in cycle II. Thus, the application of the NHT cooperative model assisted by Wordwall was proven effective in enhancing both student engagement and IPAS learning outcomes. This study implies that teachers can utilize a combination of cooperative learning strategies and interactive digital media to create more meaningful and engaging learning experiences.
