Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with a large population of people with disabilities. Where society still does not realize and understand about disabilities and people with disabilities. This creates negative awareness among people with disabilities. This service activity aims to educate about disability awareness in the community, so that citizens become better able to understand disability. This community service activity is carried out using psychoeducational methods. The output of this service is (1) increased knowledge and understanding of the community (PKK group) about people with disabilities so that harmony is created, (2) partners have pocket books about people with disabilities so that disability awareness increases. The final result of this service is that participants, namely the PKK group, can understand and understand disabilities so that their knowledge increases, and participants are very enthusiastic in participating in this activity with question and answer discussions about children with disabilities. Participants in this service are PKK members in RW 13 Norowangsan Pajang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengungkap bagaimana kontribusi sistem pendidikan tinggi terhadap pergeseran karakter jujur pada mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian ini diminta mengungkap mengenai makna dan nilai-nilai karakter jujur yang dimiliki. Metode yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menyebarkan open ended kuesioner yang berisi 11 pertanyaan dengan teknik purposive non random sampling terhadap 30 mahasiswa dengan kriteria frekuensi tes atau ulangan yang sangat sering dan jam perkuliahan yang panjang sehingga memungkinkan mahasiswa tidak sempat belajar dan melakukan kecurangan untuk tetap mempertahankan nilai di perkuliahan secara kognitif. Hasil respon jawaban subjek terhadap open ended kuesioner kemudian direkap, dicari kata kuncinya dan dilakukan pengkategorian. Verifikasi data hasil penelitian dilakukan dengan metode bracketing sedangkan validasi hasil jawaban subjek terhadap open ended kuesioner dilakukan dengan metode audit trail. Hasilnya terjadi pergeseran karakter jujur pada mahasiswa. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa karakter tidak jujur muncul karena dorongan dari sistem dan tuntutan lingkungan yaitu 37% terpaksa ketika ujian, 27% takut dimarahi bila tidak lulus, 23% faktor pengawas dan teman, 7% ingin sempurna, 7% menjaga perasaan orang lain.Kata kunci : jujur, karakter, kecurangan akademik

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mengetahui permasalahan lansia dan juga perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi pada masa usia lanjut, khususnya perubahan serta kemunduran atau degenerasi pada kondisi psikis. Pembahasan dalam artikel ini menitikberatkan pada perubahan kepribadian yang dialami oleh lansia. Masa usia lanjut merupakan tahap perkembangan terakhir dalam kehidupan seorang manusia yang ditandai dengan adanya penurunan dan kemunduran atau degeneratif pada kondisi fisik, psikis, maupun sosial. Tugas perkembangan pada masa usia lanjut di antaranya menyesuaikan diri dengan penurunan kesehatan, penurunan kekuatan fisik, masa pensiun, berkurangnya pendapatan, kematian pasangan, membentuk hubungan dengan lansia lain, membentuk pola dalam kehidupan fisik, serta menyesuaikan diri dengan peran sosial sesuai usia. Lansia yang berhasil melaksanakan tugas-tugas perkembangan akan mengalami kebahagiaan dalam masa usia lanjut. Sebaliknya, lansia yang tidak dapat menyelesaikan tugas-tugas perkembangan dengan baik, akan mengalami gangguan dalam penyesuaian diri serta memiliki konsep diri yang negatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library research), yaitu penelitian yang mendapatkan data dari sumbersumber kepustakaan, seperti buku, koran, dokumen, artikel jurnal, dan media internet. Peneliti mengumpulkan informasi pustaka terkait permasalahan masa usia lanjut dan membuat kesimpulannya.

Abstract

Honorary teachers have the right to receive an honorarium monthly and quarterly based on government regulations in labor law (Mulyasa, 2016). Honorary teachers in the regions should feel the increase in psychological well-being. It is due to honorary teachers have served for a very long time with minimum wages.The research aims to describe how the psychological well-being of honorary teachers at MI Sindon 2 Ngemplak Boyolali used a qualitative approach. Observation and interview methods are arranged based on aspects of psychological well-being according to Ryff and Keys.The results show that honorary teachers at MI Sindon 2 Ngemplak Boyolali have good psychological well-being and the wages do not affect their psychological well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the life satisfaction of honorary teachers at MI Sindon 2 Ngemplak Boyolali. Teachers have a significant role in teaching science, guiding, and training students. Even teachers are also referred to as unsung heroes. Teachers are divided into permanent teachers (civil servants) and honorary teachers (wiyata bakti). This study used a qualitative approach with observation and interview methods based on aspects of live satisfaction according to Hurlock and Diener-Bieswas. The subjects were six honorary teachers as the primary informants and two school principals and administrative staff as supporting informants.The results indicate that life satisfaction for honorary teachers at MI Sindon 2 Ngemplak Boyolali is good. The way to deal with these problems is to be grateful and willing to do a job.
