Abstract

In the 4.0 era, everything uses technology, including the dissemination of information such as wedding invitations. It can be said that in Bali the use of e-invitation is not as popular as in Southeast Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Aceh, West Sumatra and Central Java. This study aims to describe the potential of e-invitation in the new era, especially in Bali. Qualitative descriptive method was used in this study to explore information about the importance of using e-invitation in the pandemic era and could be a business opportunity. This paper uses high concept theory and high touch and visual elements as supporting theory in data analysis method. From the research results, it is known that e-invitation has wide-open business potential in Bali. The use of e-invitation has many advantages both from an economic and environmental point of view, it's just that few people know where the e-invitation design can be made.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) berperan penting dalam menyiapkan lulusannya memasuki dunia kerja. Namun, berdasarkan Rapor Pendidikan 2023-2024, keselarasan SMK dengan dunia kerja masih dalam kategori sedang. Untuk meningkatkan kesiapan kerja siswa, diperlukan pelatihan yang relevan, salah satunya adalah pemanfaatan LinkedIn sebagai media personal branding. Kegiatan ini pertujuan untuk membekali siswa SMK dengan kemampuan menyusun profil LinkedIn yang profesional dan menarik. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu dengan workshop dan praktik langsung oleh 20 orang peserta dari salah satu SMK di Denpasar. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test dengan jumlah soal 10 butir untuk mengukur pemahaman dan keterampialn siswa dalam membangun profil LinkedIn. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor peserta dari kategori kurang menjadi baik (14%). Hal ini mencerminkan adanya pengembangan profil LinkedIn yang lebih profesional. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam menyiapkan siswa SMK menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja melalui integrasi teknologi dan penguatan personal branding.Abstract: Vocational High Schools (SMK) play a crucial role in preparing their graduates to enter the workforce. However, according to the Education Report 2023-2024, the alignment between SMKs and the labor market is still categorized as moderate. To enhance students' job readiness, relevant training is needed, one of which is the utilization of LinkedIn as a platform for personal branding. This activity aims to equip SMK students with the skills to create a professional and appealing LinkedIn profile. The method implemented involves workshops and hands-on practice with 20 participants from a vocational school in Denpasar. Evaluation was conducted using a pre-test and post-test comprising 10 questions to measure students' understanding and skills in building a LinkedIn profile. The training results showed an average score improvement among participants, moving from the "poor" category to "good" (14%). This reflects the development of more professional LinkedIn profiles. This activity has made a positive contribution to preparing SMK students to meet workforce demands through the integration of technology and the strengthening of personal branding.
