Abstract

Education quality studiesare always dynamic, because the quality character always keeps up the times. Society demands for the implementation of Islamic education quality should be responded to well. Preparing and creating an atmosphere of quality culture in educational environment by mental change is the necessity. Efforts to forming the quality of education must begin by education providers. Islamic boarding schools as the one form of Islamic educational institutions, with Kyai as central figures are very important in responding any changes towards quality in education. Mental and quality culture also accompany management in Islamic education. Adequate professionalism and skillsarethe investment of resources which also determines quality of Islamic education. For this reason, the values of Islamic teachings contained in Alqur’an concerning quality, management, and change should be contextual.

Abstract

The study of the dynamics of Islamic boarding school as one of Islamic education model in Indonesia has always attracted attention. Especially if combined with the politics in education. The synergy between the dynamics of Islamic boarding school and the politics growing going to be the center of attention of observers and practitioners of Islamic education. The strategic role of Islamic boarding school in the life of nation and state is not small, even decisive for the state. Therefore, the development of Islamic boarding school education is always in line with the changes that occur in the political system so created education system. Pro and contra of Islamic boarding school as part of or stand alone is no longer crowded like the past. There is nodichotomy in a private education (Islamic boarding school) and education organized by the state. Its existence becomes synergy in developing and advancing the state. That is the importance of combining the journey of dynamics of Islamic boarding school and politics growing.

Abstract

teacher as the first position in reaching educational vision and mission, because of that teacher has an important role to upgrade their quality. Besides that, teacher has to enhance their competence. So has many implementer policies of national education system released to support teacher's competence enhancement. Donations, education facilities, training allocated for teachers by country be an opportunity to make innovative and creative work. Teacher be approved by the nation not only limited at legal formal, but also by providing financial right as appreciation for great earnings. By the several teacher's competencies, including holistic, integrative, religious, so that institutional education will produce qualified graduates, competitive, independence, and responsibility to solve educational problems, like moral decadention. To make easier for teacher competency improvement strategies, so school as one of the institutional education has to do better planning through the process of analysis. The totality of school or madrasah management can produce good and correct quality education.
