Measuring instruments that usedin both groupsarequestionnairesthat have beentested for validityandrealibility. Analysisis usedunivariateandbivariateanalyzesusing independentanddependentsample ttest. The results showed there was asignificantincreasing intherate ofchange in girlâs knowledge about BSE in experimental grouphas givenhealthpromotionaboutBSE with p(0.000) < Î± (0,05). It means thathealthpromotionaboutBSE is effectiveforimproving girlâs knowledge about BSE. The results of this research isrecommend to every health care have to giving health promotion about BSE by audio visual to increasing knowledge about BSE. The aim of this research was to know the relationship between the implementation of family health care function to nutritional status of children aged under five years in Padang Bulan village, Pekanbaru. This research was quantitative research design with descriptive cross sectional correlational approach. The total of sample were 82 mothers who have children and conducted by accidental sampling. The instrument used weight scale (Kg) ang height scale (Cm) which interpreted by standard of WHO-NCHS (2005) as the variable of nutritional status. The instrument used the questionnaire to measure the function of family health care which had been tested the validity and reliability. This research used univariate analyse to determine the distribution of frequencies and bivariate analyse Kolmogorof Smirnov. The result of this study showed that most of children had good nutritional status and most of mothers had implemented the family health care functions excellently. It showed, there is a relationship of the implementation of family health care functions to nutritional status of children aged under five years (p value= 0,014). Based on this result, it is recommended to each mother to improve the nutritional status of children aged by doing the function of health family care well. The aim of this research was to determined the factors that affect quality of life diabetes mellitus patient with diabetic ulcers. The design was descriptive correlational design with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique was consecutive sampling with 30 respondents which was selected based on inclusion criteria. This research used instrument a questionnaire. This research used univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test. The results showed a correlation between age, complications experienced (other diseases), and anxiety quality of life of patients with diabetes mellitus with diabetic ulcers (p value 0,011; 0,046 and 0,030) and no correlation between marital status and duration of diseases (p value 0,440 and 0,399). The research recommends diabetic patients with diabetic ulcers to maintain the state of her health condition and keep doing treatment as well as to control the activity, and the diet so the disease get worse so and their quality of life will be better. The purpose of study was to compare the quality of life between the elderly people who live in nursing home and elders who live with family. The research method used comparative study. The study was conducted in two population were in nursing home Khusnul Khotimah Pekanbaru on 30 elderly using total sampling and in Labuh Baru Barat village on 30 elderly using purposive sampling. The instrument of the research used a questionnaire have a validity the questionnaire is WHOQOLBREF. The analysis used was univariate using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using T independent tests. The results of research about quality of life showed that elderly who lived with family have high qulity of life more than elderly in nursing home were 16 elderly (53,3%) in nursing home and 13 elderly (43,3%) in family. Based on the statistical tests (T independent) results, it is concluded that there is no difference between quaity of life between elderly people living in nursing home and elderly who lived with family (ρ value 0,198). Based on the result of this result, it is expected to family for give caring to elderly people and suport that optimal like a give suporting elderly people for routine visite to social service. The purpose of the research is to analize the effect of diabetic foot exercises with plastic ball on the level of foot sensitivity in diabetic patients. The research used quasy experiment design with non-equivalent control group which divided into experimental group and control group. Sample of this research is 30 people divided into 15 people as the experimental group and 15 people as a control group. Sample in this research was taken by purposive sampling of techniques sampling which selected based on inclusion criteria. Instruments of this research was using monofilament in both groups to measuring respondent foot sensitivity. The experimental group were given interventions with diabetic foot exercises with plastic ball three times in 1 week. Data then analyzed into univariate and bivariate using dependent sample t test and independent sample t test. The result of the reearch showed that mean level of foot sensitivity before diabetic foot exercises with plastic ball was 8.467 points and mean level of foot sensitivity after diabetic foot exercises with plastic ball was 9.007 point mean an increase in the foot sensitivity after given intervention with p value 0,002 (<0,05). In conclusion diabetic foot exercises with plastic ball are effective against increasing the foot sensitivity in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. The result is expected to be one of the nursing intervention to improve the foot sensitivity for patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. This research intends to analyze and find out about factors of phlebitis incidence for infused patient. For that purpose, this research use correlation description as research method and cross sectional as observation method. This research is conducted in Chrysant Medical Hospitalization room, Awal Bros Hospital, Pekanbaru by involving 92 respondents, using purposive sample as sampling method, and observation sheet as measuring instrument. The method of analysis used in this research is both univariate and bivariate data. The result of this test analysis research shows that there is relationship between age and intravenous fluids towards phlebitis with significant influence p value = 0.000, in which elderly and hypertonic fluids affect the phlebitis. Meanwhile, dressing and morbidities are not associated significantly by phlebitis with p value = 0.643 and p value = 1.00. The result of this research is expected to be reference for hospital, particularly for medical personnel in order to keep consistent implementing procedure and policy ever been applied to prevent phlebitis incidence. The purpose of this research was to description the implementation of family health function that have elderly with hypertension. The design of this research is descriptive. The research was conducted on family have elderly with hypertension in Puskesmas Sidomulyo Pekanbaru. The total sample are 70 people who were taken by using accidental sampling techniques the data was collected by quetionnaire. The analysis that was used univariate analyzis. The results showed of description familys ability to carry out the duties of health is high, 49 respondents (70%). This means that the description of the imlementation of family health function that have elderly wiht hypertension is high. The results of this study recommend for public health centre service in order to increase information to the community, especially families who have elderly people with hypertension. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the level of knowledge with actions of nurses in the administration of chemotherapy in breast cancer patients. The method of the study was descriptive correlation with cross – sectional design. The study was conducted at the Arifin Achmad Hospital of the 51 samples by purposive sampling method. Measuring instruments was questionnaires and observation sheets that have been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis of this study were univariate and bivariate analysis by Chi-square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between the level of nurse’s knowledge about chemotherapy with nurse’s actions in giving chemotherapy for patiens with breast cancer in Arifin Achmad Hospital by the p value = 0.041, significant p value ≤ α (0.05). Based on the results, Nurses are expected the nurse to wear self protection properly, take seminars, trainings or workshops on chemotherapy to improve health care service. The purpose of this research is to describe spirituality in social residence Khusnul Khotimah. This research uses a simple descriptive method. The number of samples in this research were 39 elderly people in social residence Khusnul Khotimah Pekanbaru taken by using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by a questionnaire that consist of 28 questions. Analysis of this research used univariate and frequency distribution. This study use questionnaire spirituality which created by Amir Syam and have the validity tested and reliability. The results showed that 59.0% of elderly have a high spirituality and 41.0% of elderly had low spirituality. Based on the result of this study, it is suggested to the social residence Khusnul Khotimah to provide holistic services to the elderly so that problems that arise in the elderly, especially spirituality can be identified quickly and is expected to prepare health workers, especially rnurses gerontic to provide nursing care related to spirituality, so elderly will be able to maintain their spirituality.
