Abstract

The leadership and managerial ability of the leader of an educational institution is one of the determinants of the development of the educational institution. This study aims to describe the portrait of educational management from Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri in developing educational institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection methods are observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data is analyzed by data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results showed that Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri was a person who had a broad understanding of leadership and management, including management of education. This is indicated by its ability to develop educational institutions to carry out managerial functions of education management in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating and monitoring. The application process by Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri is a process of adaptation in accordance with the conditions and challenges of future education. Kepemimpinan dan kemampuan manajerial pimpinan suatu lembaga pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor penentu perkembangan lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan potret manajemen pendidikan dari Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri dalam mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, presentasi, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri adalah orang yang memiliki pemahaman luas dalam kepemimpinan dan manajemen, termasuk manajemen pendidikan. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh kemampuannya mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan untuk melaksanakan fungsi manajerial manajemen pendidikan dalam perencanaan, pengorganisasian, implementasi dan evaluasi serta pemantauan. Proses aplikasi oleh Sayid Idrus bin Salim Aljufri adalah proses adaptasi sesuai dengan kondisi dan tantangan pendidikan ke depan.

Abstract

Leaders are individuals who led a social activity. They should regulate, lead, organize, manage and evaluating people. Therefore, leadership should have a legitimate acknowledgment and support from his followers. In order to have a great deal of influence from his/her followers, a leader should have good personality and good character; that is, understand and aware his/her own existences, respect to others, have good morality and also devout to Allah SWT. To develop a good and strong leadership, a leader should have spiritual and emotional intelligence and develop these intelligences continually, so his/her good character eventually will be built and it will be useful for his/her organization and community.

Abstract

This article focuses on the study of Pohutu Momulanga values as the Gorontalo local wisdom in building good governance system. Good governance system requires a leader who has good characters, therefore it is interesting to examine the local wisdom values in relation to build a good leader in government. To explore the Pohutu Momulanga values and the leader work performance, this study uses library research. Data was collected through the book about Pohutu Momulanga traditional ceremony, the autobiography of the regent of Boalemo Regency in Gorontalo province and supported by interview. Data analysis used triangulation techniques that matched the data in the literature and the results of interviews. The study showed that the Regent of Boalemo Regency in Gorontalo Province awarded the customary title, because he has the values of Pohutu Momulanga in his work performance, namely very religious, high-minded, self-dicipline, insight, enamoured, and brave.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the publik services in the education sector provided by the Bintang Mahardika Islamic Elementary School, Tilongkabila Bone Bolango Regency to students, parents or guardians of students and related parties. This research is a field research with data collection in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The data collected was processed with descriptive qualitative. The research findings describe that: according to the operational procedure system of public services in the education sector, based on a service model that prioritizes humanist values ​​both to students, parents or guardians, the community or interested parties. The quality of public services is applied to the attitudes and concerns of teachers and employees in providing teaching, attention, motivation, communication and cooperation, speed and agility that have an impact on the realization of the quality of education.

One of the succsess at the university organization is observed by the quality of the alumnus who have high perception, have knowledge are based on belief and piety to Allah SWT, so that they can be easly to find job or can create an occupation their selves as a proof of their succsess. To produce the best alumnus always depend on the role of all component at the university. Abstract

Poverty is considered as a complex and multidimensional public problem. Poverty problems become a complex problem so that a country cannot have the ability to eradicate poverty on its own. The majority of Indonesians are at a low economic level. This condition causes the poverty rate in Indonesia to increase from year to year.In the context of accelerating poverty reduction as well as developing policies in the field of social protection, the Government of Indonesia has implemented various poverty alleviation programs such as the social assistance program. To make the program successful, it is assisted by a team of sub-district social welfare workers (TKSK). The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the Role of Sub-District Social Welfare Workers (TKSK) in the Poverty Reduction Program at the Social Office of Bone Bolango Regency and its inhibiting factors.The analytical method used in this research was a qualitative data analysis method, using an interactive model. The data collection model used in this research was conducted through observation, interviews and documentation.Based on the results of the study, it shows that the role of sub-district social welfare workers (TKSK) in the Poverty Reduction Program considering from the aspect of the role as coordinator, role as facilitator and role as administrator has been implemented but has not been effectively implemented. It also considers the competency factors and hindering facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which school principals’ policies influence student achievement at MTs Negeri 1 Bolaang Mongondow Timur. The role of the principal as the leader of an educational institution is not only limited to administrative functions but also extends to strategic decision-making that directly affects the learning process and students’ academic outcomes. Therefore, this research seeks to provide empirical evidence regarding the relationship between principals’ policies and student learning achievement. The research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students, documentation of academic records, and direct observation within the school environment. The population of this study comprised all students at MTs Negeri 1 Bolaang Mongondow Timur. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique to ensure that the respondents met the research criteria. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson’s correlation to measure the strength of the relationship between variables and the coefficient of determination to determine the extent of the principal’s policy contribution to student achievement. The findings revealed a significant and positive influence of the principal’s policies on student academic performance. The Pearson correlation coefficient obtained was 0.877, indicating a very strong relationship. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination of 77% showed that the principal’s policies contributed substantially to students’ academic achievement, while the remaining 23% was influenced by other factors such as family environment, individual motivation, and supporting infrastructure. In conclusion, the study highlights that school principals’ policies play an essential role in creating a conducive learning environment and supporting the improvement of student achievement. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of principals formulating adaptive, participatory, and student-oriented policies to enhance the quality of education at MTs Negeri 1 Bolaang Mongondow Timur.

Abstract

Elementary school education is a formal education level that can shape the character of students in the future. The role of parents and educators in shaping character greatly influences the growth and development of a student. This study aims to model teachers in fostering Inhibiting Factors and Supporting Factors of Teacher Strategies in Fostering Honest Character of Class VI Students of SDN 13 Kabila. The type of descriptive qualitative research in this study is grade VI students, the subjects of which are 16 students and several educators at SDN 13 Kabila with a total of students for the 2025-2026 academic year. In learning activities, this school, which has 214 students, is guided by 20 professional teachers. The results of the analysis of school regulations will be imitated by students. Instilling and good habits so that students are accustomed to implementing the rules in the school without any coercion from anyone, and are not only carried out at school but can also be applied by students at home. The implementation of teacher honesty is in line with the theory, which states that teachers must set a good example for their students, both in terms of speech, personality, dress, socializing and behaving honestly.
