Abstract

UTIPD telah menggunakan sistem absensi berbasis webcam untuk mencatat kehadiran staf. Sistem ini memanfaatkan perangkat komputer dengan kamera yang terhubung ke jaringan kampus. Meskipun sistem ini telah membantu meningkatkan akurasi pencatatan kehadiran dan mengurangi manipulasi data, terdapat beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya seperti sistem berbasis webcam mengharuskan staf untuk hadir di depan komputer yang terpasang di lokasi tertentu. Hal ini membatasi fleksibilitas staf yang sering bekerja di lapangan atau di lokasi yang berbeda dari kantor utama. Penggunaan webcam juga memerlukan komputer dengan spesifikasi tertentu dan perangkat keras tambahan, yang dapat menambah biaya operasional dan perawatan. Sistem ini memerlukan infrastruktur penyimpanan dan manajemen data yang kompleks untuk menyimpan dan memproses data visual dari webcam. Untuk mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi dan meningkatkan efisiensi serta fleksibilitas, penulis merencanakan untuk merancang sistem informasi absensi berbasis mobile web view. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan peneliti untuk penelitian ini adalah metode waterfall. Metode ini digunakan peneliti untuk mengembangkan sistem- sistem perangkat lunak dengan memiliki alur secara terurut yang dimulai dari analisa, desain, pengodean dan pengujian. Maka dengan adanya sistem informasi absensi staf ini dapat memudahkan staf untuk melakukan absensi secara efektif dan efisien. Sehingga mempermudah proses monitoring kehadiran staf serta pengelolaan data absensi.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Jambi Province Public Works and Public Housing Office (PUPR). This research is entitled "Design of a Website-Based Archiving Information System at the Jambi Province Public Works and Public Housing Office (PUPR)". The purpose of this research is to document the process of designing an information system that functions to provide information to the PUPR Office of Jambi Province. This research was conducted qualitatively by conducting interviews and observations with the PUPR Office of Jambi Province to complete the research. The document filing system of the Jambi Province PUPR Office was designed using the prototype method. As a result of the analysis and observations made, it can be concluded that one effective way to facilitate the work of employees in finding documents is to build a web-based archiving information system. This system is expected to produce information quickly, precisely, and accurately without reducing the value of the information itself.

Abstract

Pemasaran digital melalui platform media sosial, terutama Facebook, telah menjadi strategi yang populer di kalangan UMKM, termasuk di daerah perdesaan. Namun, implementasi pemasaran digital ini tidak terlepas dari adanya tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi aktivitas UMKM di desa Mendahara Ilir dalam mengimplementasikan pemasaran digital melalui Facebook. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang praktik pemasaran digital oleh UMKM. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pelaku UMKM yang terlibat dalam pemasaran digital, serta melalui pengamatan langsung terhadap aktivitas pemasaran digital yang dilakukan oleh UMKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas UMKM di desa Mendahara Ilir telah mengadopsi pemasaran digital melalui Facebook sebagai bagian dari strategi pemasaran mereka. Meskipun demikian, masih ada tantangan yang dihadapi, terutama terkait dengan akses internet yang terbatas dan kurangnya pengetahuan teknologi di kalangan UMKM. Namun, pemasaran digital melalui Facebook juga telah memberikan dampak positif pada kinerja bisnis UMKM.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the importance of identity management and strong This research aims to analyze the convergence between information systems auditing and the cyber security legal framework in Indonesia. Amidst the escalation of cyber threats targeting national critical infrastructure, information security is no longer merely a technical issue but a binding legal obligation. This study highlights how the audit process functions as a compliance validation mechanism against positive regulations in Indonesia, specifically the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP) and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a juridical-normative approach. The results of this study are expected to map out procedures for handling digital evidence that are valid in the eyes of Indonesian law and formulate audit standards capable of mitigating legal risks for organizations. Initial findings suggest that the integration of standardized audit logs (ISO 27001) is crucial in digital forensic evidence in court

Abstract

English vocabulary acquisition forms the foundation for language development in early childhood. While Information Technology (IT) platforms like YouTube offer multimedia resources for language learning, research examining teacher perspectives on YouTube's role in vocabulary development remains limited. This phenomenological study explores how early childhood educators perceive and integrate YouTube for English vocabulary instruction. Twenty teachers from 18 institutions across three Indonesian provinces participated through interviews and documentation analysis. Data analysis employed open coding and axial coding to identify patterns and themes. Findings reveal two main themes: teachers recognize YouTube's effectiveness for vocabulary recognition and contextual usage, yet emphasize the need for structured implementation. Teachers perceive YouTube as effective when combined with three strategies: selecting age-appropriate content, providing active guidance during viewing, and implementing reinforcement activities such as storytelling and interactive games. This study contributes phenomenological insights into teacher experiences with IT-mediated language instruction and offers practical frameworks for integrating digital platforms into early childhood vocabulary development.

Abstract

This study examines public sentiment among X users toward the proposal to return regional head elections (Pilkada) to an indirect electoral mechanism through the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD), using a decision-tree classifier based on the C4.5 approach. A dataset of 4,127 tweets collected via X API v2 between December 2024 and January 2026 was analyzed using a seven-stage text preprocessing pipeline. Sentiment labels were generated through a hybrid lexicon-based approach, followed by manual verification of 500 stratified tweets by two independent annotators, yielding substantial inter-annotator agreement (Cohen’s Kappa = 0.78). TF-IDF was used for feature extraction, and the dataset was divided using an 80:20 stratified train-test split. The classifier achieved 81% accuracy, 82% precision, 79% recall, and an F1-score of 80%, outperforming Naive Bayes (74%) and Support Vector Machine (79%) baselines on the same dataset. The sentiment distribution showed that 45% of tweets were negative, 32% were positive, and 23% were neutral, indicating a predominantly critical response among X users toward the proposal. These findings describe discourse on X during the study period and should not be interpreted as representative of broader public opinion. Overall, the study highlights the potential of machine learning methods for analyzing Indonesian political discourse on social media.

Abstract

The Jambi Class II Climatological Station is the agency responsible for providing climate data and information to the public and relevant agencies. In practice, the process of handling data requests is still carried out conventionally, resulting in relatively long processing times for document management, archiving, and user service. This situation has led to several challenges, such as inefficient administrative processes, a high risk of document loss, and limitations in monitoring the status of data requests. This study aims to design a web-based Data Service Information System that can support the digitalisation of climate data services at the Class II Jambi Climatology Station. The system development method used is the prototype method, as it allows the development process to be carried out in stages based on user needs. The system design was carried out using the Unified Modelling Language (UML) as a modelling tool to describe system requirements, process flows, and user interactions with the system. The design results show that the developed system is capable of facilitating the online submission of data requests, tracking the status of requests, and managing the service database in a more structured manner. The system also provides a digital archiving feature that simplifies the management and retrieval of data request documents. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the efficiency of service processes, speed up data request processing times, enhance service transparency, and support improvements in the quality of public services at the Class IV Jambi Climatological Station.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat mendorong perlunya penerapan sistem informasi dalam pengelolaan data, termasuk pada sektor persediaan barang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi persediaan barang berbasis website di gudang administrasi PT Angkasa Pura II Kota Jambi guna menggantikan pencatatan manual yang masih digunakan. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D), dengan tahapan mulai dari identifikasi masalah hingga uji coba produk. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, database MySQL, serta pemodelan UML yang mencakup use case diagram, activity diagram, dan class diagram. Hasil pengujian menggunakan metode blackbox menunjukkan seluruh fungsi berjalan sesuai harapan. Selain itu, uji kelayakan sistem menghasilkan nilai 93,81% dalam kategori sangat layak. Sistem ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam pencatatan serta pengelolaan persediaan barang.
