Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine how internal and external factors, such as leverage, liquidity, sales growth, and company size as internal variables, along with inflation and gross domestic product as external variables, impact the financial distress of property and real estate firms listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange between 2020 and 2022. The sample, comprising 38 companies and 114 data points, was chosen through purposive sampling from secondary sources. Multiple linear regression tests were conducted using Eviews version 12 and Microsoft Excel. The findings indicate that internal factors only partially influence financial distress, and external factors have no significant impact on it. This underscores the necessity for companies to prioritize high-quality management practices to enhance their financial performance and ensure optimal business continuity.

Abstract

Workshops are a business that has an important role in the Indonesian economy. However, there are still many workshops that do not have a good operational system, especially in terms of recording transactions. This can cause the workshop to be less efficient and effective in running its business. In this research, the author developed a desktop cashier application for workshops. This application was built using Python, PyQt5, and MySQL. This application has features that can help workshops in recording transactions, such as master data, transactions, reports and settings. The research results show that this desktop cashier application can help workshops improve their operational efficiency and effectiveness. This application can make it easier for workshops to record transactions, produce accurate reports, and manage workshop data.

Abstract

Trading companies are one type of business that dominates throughout the world. The most important thing in a goods company is the procurement of goods because this is the main resource so that the expected trading activities can be carried out. This Community Service Activity (PKM) is one manifestation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, to provide benefits to the community. The students have never studied purchasing transactions in accounting using the accounting program. It is hoped that this activity will provide benefits for Kristoforus 1 High School students to better understand the use of accounting programs in inputting company transactions, especially purchasing transactions. This training will focus on purchasing transactions. This activity will be carried out for 90 minutes in two offline sessions in October 2023. The activity includes presentation of material by the Untar PKM Team, then continued with practice questions and ending with a question and answer session. From the results of the questionnaire, it can be seen that the material presented was successfully accepted by the students and increased their knowledge.

Abstract

Cash is a very important asset for everyone, especially for companies. Cash is the main resource so that expected business activities can be carried out. The introduction of computer-based accounting is very important, especially for high school students considering current technological advances. This Community Service Activity (PKM) is one manifestation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, to provide benefits to the community. So far, accounting learning has always been given manually, never using an accounting application. It is hoped that this activity will provide benefits for Tarsisius 1 High School students to better understand the use of accounting programs in inputting company transactions, especially cash and bank transactions. The activity included presentation of material by the Untar PKM Team, then continued with practice questions and ended with a question and answer session.
