Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent of the role of the Village Government and Traditional Institutions in implementing Customary Law and the Effectiveness of Implementing Customary Sanctions according to Village Regulation Number 07 of 2018 concerning the Implementation of Customary Sanctions Solo Hulir Sea'ng Hala. This research method was carried out using a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The informants involved in the research were the Village Head, Traditional Leader and BPD. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, drawing conclusions and verification. The research results show that the role of the Village Government is as a Mediator, Facilitator, Motivator, Justice of the Peace and Traditional Institutions play the role of a Mediator, Regulator, Justice of the Peace. The effectiveness of the implementation of customary sanctions by the Koting D Village Government can be said to be effective, because the implementation of customary sanctions is truly carried out and precisely according to its target and before being implemented, these rules are first disseminated to the community so that the community understands the regulations that have been made.

Abstract

Education is a necessity for a person and is carried out indefinitely. Education can be obtained through formal and non-formal education. As parents, their roles and responsibilities are absolute. But not all parents understand that children's education is important in laying the basis for thinking and understanding of life. There are parents who think that education is the responsibility of the educator namely the school. The purpose of this study was to find out about the role of parents in improving children's learning achievement in Umauta Village, Bola District, Sikka Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were parents, numbering 8 people and all of them were studied. Data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. From the data obtained and then analyzed, the results of this study indicate that, in improving children's learning achievement, it is very necessary the role of parents in terms of caring for, educating, supporting, and motivating children because of the participation of parents, there is progress and improvement in learning achievement children can continue to improve. The role played by parents in the Desa Umauta towards improving children's learning achievement is already good. This can be seen from the various efforts made by parents so that their children's performance always increases. The role of parents in determining children's learning achievement is very large

Abstract

This study aims to find out what cultural values ​​are contained in the woven woven motifs and how to preserve the cultural values ​​contained in the woven woven motifs in the Ende Lio Tribe, Manulondo Village, Ndona District, Ende Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use techniques to draw conclusions (verification). The results of the study show that in Ende Regency, the Ende Lio tribe in Manulondo Village has various forms of motifs. In the process of making motifs there are also only based on the imagination of the weavers and there are also motifs that have cultural values. motifs that have cultural values, namely the motifs jara mesa (own horse), guns sendetu (a group of elephants), rote rego (broken and broken love) and semba (men's scarves or the oversized shawls of the mosalaki ri'a bewa). These motifs have several values, namely Religious Values, Socio-Cultural Values, Economic Values, and Aesthetic Values. As for the efforts to preserve the woven fabric, namely the collaboration between the government and the local community to create an woven group called the Kapokale woven group. This is so that the younger generation maintains their ancestral cultural heritage so that it does not become extinct in the millennial era like now.
