Abstract

Fresh graduate must have competencies that required by job market. In today’s work place, labors must be technologically adept and globally competitive. Thus, educators must enhance their skills continously. Teachers competencies are pedagogy, profesionalism, personality, and social skills also lecturers competencies are excellence in teach, research, and community service that scientifically accountable and rooted scientific expertise skills need further enriched through lifelong education. Lifelong education is a continous learning that surpasses age limits to improve adults knowledge and skills. It is valueable tool for improving educators competencies and maintaining their expertise, contributing to their success. By implementing the principles of andragogy, lifelong education can impart of 8 competencies to educators, enabling them to effectively address educational challenges in Indonesia, particularly in realms of technology, politics, and socio-culture. This research examines lifelong education as a means to elevate the educators competencies and explain lifelong education program for them. Using the literature review method, researchers meticulously analyze data from regulations, books, and joournal to produce objective and scientifically grounded writing.AbstrakLulusan akademisi harusnya memiliki kompetensi yang dibutuhkan lapangan pekerjaan sehingga dapat bersaing. Dunia pekerjaan saat ini membutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang melek teknologi dan mampu bersaing secara global. Karena itu, tenaga pendidik perlu meningkatkan kompetensinya. Kompetensi guru meliputi pedagogik; profesional; kepribadian; dan sosial juga kompetensi dosen yaitu keahlian mengajar; meneliti; dan pengabdian masyarakat yang dapat dipertanggung jawabkan secara ilmiah dan keahlian berdasarkan latar belakang pendidikan dapat diperkaya dengan kemampuan serta ketrampilan melalui pendidikan sepanjang hayat. Pendidikan sepanjang hayat merupakan proses pembelajaran tanpa batasan usia untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengetahuan dan ketrampilan individu berpusat pada orang dewasa sebagai pembelajar. Pendidikan sepanjang hayat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kualifikasi tenaga pendidik guna meningkatkan kompetensinya. Pendidikan sepanjang hayat berguna untuk mengawetkan kepakaran agar mencapai kesejahteraan tenaga pendidik. Pendidikan sepanjang hayat yang menerapkan prinsip andragogi setidaknya dapat menambah 8 kompetensi bagi tenaga pendidik. Melalui pendidikan sepanjang hayat, tenaga pendidik berkompetensi dapat mengatasi tantangan pendidikan di Indonesia yaitu di bidang teknologi, politik, dan sosial budaya. Penelitian ini mengkaji pendidikan sepanjang hayat untuk meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga pendidik sebagai upaya pengawetan kepakaran dan memaparkan program pendidikan sepanjang hayat untuk tenaga pendidik. Abstract

This article discusses the creation and creation of the church's identity as an ethnic unifier in Indonesia, which emphasizes human values in accordance with its duties as implementer, Missio Dei Allah." The purpose of writing this article is to determine the position and duties of the church in the midst of a heterogeneous society. The method used in this research is a qualitative literature approach. The results of this study explain that the Indonesian church has the potential to unify ethnic groups in a diverse society. The church can take inspiration from theological foundations such as the history of the nation of Israel, the incarnation of Christ, and the principle of humanity. In the real context in Indonesia, the church can grow by respecting ethnic diversity, increasing intercultural competence, engaging in ecumenical activities, and providing a space for dialogue to promote understanding, tolerance, and cooperation between different ethnicities. The Church is expected to focus on humanitarian missions that transcend narrow ethnic, cultural, political and nationalist identities in Indonesia, and contribute to peace and harmony amidst differences.
