This article discusses the creation and creation of the church's identity as an ethnic unifier in Indonesia, which emphasizes human values in accordance with its duties as implementer, Missio Dei Allah." The purpose of writing this article is to determine the position and duties of the church in the midst of a heterogeneous society. The method used in this research is a qualitative literature approach. The results of this study explain that the Indonesian church has the potential to unify ethnic groups in a diverse society. The church can take inspiration from theological foundations such as the history of the nation of Israel, the incarnation of Christ, and the principle of humanity. In the real context in Indonesia, the church can grow by respecting ethnic diversity, increasing intercultural competence, engaging in ecumenical activities, and providing a space for dialogue to promote understanding, tolerance, and cooperation between different ethnicities. The Church is expected to focus on humanitarian missions that transcend narrow ethnic, cultural, political and nationalist identities in Indonesia, and contribute to peace and harmony amidst differences.
